The issue is not ass-anal loosing that particular match,

But it was the way and manner they were spanked! grin

Arsenal were outclassed.  Anderson had a brilliant game he made fab look ordinary. Nani outstanding excellent performance. Fletcher what can i say 2 goals plus his contribution. ROONEY aresenal were lucky he only scored one but he tormented their defense throughout game. Arsenal mistake was to have those full backs they did nothing. The game was won on the wing and the penatrating passes made in the midfield good job guys. Arsenal fans don't rely on lyon beating us you should have done it yourself sore losers,

Check out the Player Ratings

MANCHESTER UNITED

Van Der Sar 6.0: Pipe and slippers evening for the Dutch keeper. Not tested at all by the misfiring Gunners.

Wes Brown  7.5: Set down a marker for the 12 April clash by keeping Hleb quiet all evening, and making some good contribution to the attack as well.

Rio Ferdinand 6.5: Snuffed out the disappointing Arsenal attack with ease.

Nemanja Vidic 7.0: Improved performance from the big Serb. Made life difficult for Arsenal from corners.

Patrice Evra 7.0: Locked down the left flank and supported the attacks with his usual effervescence.

Darren Fletcher 8: A rare appearance for the Scottish midfielder but he was really in the mood. Got forward, tackled robustly and took his goal well.

Anderson 8.5: In an impressive midfield unit, Anderson stood out as the brightest talent on show. Fizzed throughout the game and is fast becoming undroppable. If only he had a Brazilian goal scorer’s touch.

Michael Carrick 7.0: Ably supported by Anderson and Fletcher fizzing alongside, Carrick’s unsung performance should not belie his contribution to United thoroughly dominating a stronger Arsenal midfield. His pass for Nani’s goal was a peach.

Nani 8.0: At last, the Portuguese winger delivered a performance worthy of his reputation. Excellent display of wingcraft. His goal was a beauty.

Ji Sung Park 6.5: Game and willing but still struggling to impose himself after a long injury lay-off.

Wayne Rooney 8.0: Thundered back after sitting out the derby. Shone as United adopted the England model of the lone front man and set United on their way with a crucial first goal. Terrorised Gallas and Toure all evening and might be disappointed to have scored only once.

Substitutes

Paul Scholes  6.0: Slotted in easily.

Louis Saha 6.0: Looked rusty on his return to the first team. Should have scored late on.

ARSENAL

Jens Lehmann 7.0: Some smart saves alternated with some poor goal kicks, but kept the scoreline from looking like 7-0 or 8-0.

Justin Hoyte 4.0: Troubled by United attackers all evening. The young defender couldn’t make his efforts meaningful.

William Gallas 4.0 : Might now heed the proverb: He who talks big may soon look small. A disappointing evening’s work in the Manchester spotlight. Was at sixes and sevens against Rooney, and his second half kick at Nani deserved a booking too. Perhaps his worst display of the season

Kolo Toure 5.5: Looked like he was still suffering from jet lag after his exertions in the African Cup of Nations. Lacked his usual authority and positional excellence. Clearly still jaded from his African sojourn.

Armand Traore 4.0: The youngster had a night to forget and was made dizzy by United’s movement and trickery.

Emmanuel Eboue 3.0: Dismissed early in the second half for an ugly challenge on Evra. It was his only contribution to the game.

Francesc Fabregas 5.0: The Premiership’s most improved midfielder didn’t live up to his reputation. Off the pace completely until his substitution. Failed to pick his passes, failed to win the ball, and was simply outplayed on the evening.

Gilberto Silva 5.0: Another talent to leave his better form in the locker room. No impact on the match.

Alexander Hleb 6.5: Didn’t offer his usual menace. A subdued display, but had a little more energy to give to the match than some of his teammates.

Da Silva Eduardo 5.0: His flat display mirrored that of the team.

Nicklas Bendtner 5.0: Got no change out of the United defence and little support from the Arsenal midfield.

Substitutes

Mathieu Flamini 5.0: Lost Fletcher for United’s fourth goal. So much for coming on to limit the damage.

Philippe Senderos 6.0: Should probably have started looking at all that went on at the back.

Emmanuel Adebayor 5.0: Booked for diving seconds after entering the match as a substitute, and that was just about the only thing you remember about him.

New Ghanaian currency introduced
From Wikinews, the free news source you can write!

July 3, 2007

New currency notes are being introduced in Ghana today. The new currency, to be called the Ghanaian cedi, replaces the previous cedi which has been in circulation since 17 February, 1967.

The Ghanaian cedi will be exchanged at 10,000 old cedis to one new Ghanaian cedi. The exchange rate against the U.S. dollar starts at GH¢0.92 to one U.S. dollar. The new ISO code for the currency is GHS, and the new symbol, GH¢.

The change, which was originally scheduled by the Bank of Ghana to start on July 1, 2007, will instead start on Tuesday July 3, as the original date is Ghana's Republic Day.

Monday, July 2, was declared a public holiday as the actual Republic Day fell on a Sunday. July 3, is thus the first day that the currency will be available to the public as banks open to the general public. This is because ATMs were shut down over the weekend so that the currencies could be checked and replaced in all of them nationwide. The old and new currencies will be used concurrently until the end of December 2007, when the old currency will cease to be legal tender.

This is the third Ghanaian cedi to be introduced in the country since 1965.

In Issues like this we pretend to be patriotic. I said it b4 the Ivory Coast game that we are not going to make any impac in this Nations cup. While blame Vogt? Nigerians always like to hold people responsible for thier problems

That guy did his best he made use of the best nigerian players on the planet. We should accept the fact that we are the present place we are now in is where our NFA and sport ministry dragged our sports to.

just dont expect any magic from this game at all. Lets just forget about these guys they did what they have to do. Ivory coast players are the bigger boys you can compare the two teams player by player they are the better team. We played against a better side.

Madrid to make Man Utd's Ronaldo first £100M player
tribalfootball.com - January 24, 2008

Real Madrid are willing to make Manchester United wing ace Cristiano Ronaldo the best paid player on the planet.

DiarioSport says Real president Ramon Calderon is preparing a six-year contract offer for Ronaldo worth a staggering £40 million - AFTER TAX.

The deal would make Ronaldo the highest paid player in the game, but still may not be enough to convince the Portugal international to leave Old Trafford. Jorge Mendes, Ronaldo's agent, is well aware of Real's intentions, but has always maintained that the final decision will be left to the player.

With United insisting Ronaldo will only leave for a world record fee - believed to be at least £60 million - if Calderon pushes through his plans, the Portuguese dazzler could become the game's first £100 million player.

I think ferguson should do something about this because Ronaldo is our hitman for now.

In Europe every comunitee that speaks its own language is its own country no matter how small.

Why are we trying to stay together when we speak different languages and practice different religion.
IF they want to bring in another law that will be contrary to the freedom of speech we preach, then they should simply ask all the Igbos and christians to leave thier soil before doing so.

People who have visited SA always wonder if they were still in Africa.

Men no matter what we say or do SA is the true giant of Africa. Those who are talking about GDP should talk about the population. When the issue of Population comes into play then you will know that SA has an economy that is 100 times larger than Nigeria.

Politics › Re: Why Isn't Efcc Probing Obasanjo by stanech: 1:09pm On Jul 19, 2007
McKren:
I will try to answer your topic with all honesty.

Every Nation has 2 sectors of the Economy - Macro and Micro

The Macro economics of this Nation is managed by the central government and there indices are reflected by GDP, Inflation rate, Currency Exchange rate etc. You can not take away the fact that OBJ and his team did an excellent job in this area.

The Micro economics is the aspect that affects the ordinary Nigerian on the streets, and that is most affected by the activities of the lower tiers of Government. By that I mean State and Local Government. If this aspect is where we actually recorded monumental failure is it not suffice to chanel our resources to this tiers of Government so as to improve the standard of living of the average Nigerian.

Remember Federal Government played its part by giving states their monthly allocations so why did they fail to deliver.

My sister trust me those who talk about probing OBJ first before the Governors are simply diverting attention from the real issues. Dont let anyone decieve you some of them don't want the war against corruption fought and will not say it.

However if EFCC probes OBJ and does not find anything, let no one call EFCC selective, they should simply take the evidence they have to court. It must not be done through EFCC.
Thank you bro You are the Man Exactly what is on my mind Thank You kiss
