u have been to Enugu. Thatz great. probably u went to Independence layout or GRA.

Did u see raibownet, cosmo fm, marlum construction company etc that belongs to chimaroke. Did u see the 172 house own by chimaroke.

If chimaroke has 172 houses, how many did he build for us. With marlum construction company how many road did he construct. how many villages in enugu have telephone.

Chimaroke is an inteligent doctor, but I don't know what enter his head and he becomes a terror to enugu people.
He died fighting for himself to become President .There is nothing in his life history that indicates that he was a principled democrat. If Hitler was denied an electoral mandate he had won,he too would have fought to get it back.
Thank u. Na only you know wetin i dey try talk my guy.

Abiola no do anything as far as i am concern. I wonder why he should be called a national hero. The election was annuled by a millitary government. He won the election fine. But he is still among one of those dead thieves in this country. I no want offend anybody oh, but the guy is not worth celebrating.
Politics › Re: Rest In Peace Chief Mko Abiola ! We Miss You ! by stanech: 7:40pm On Jun 12, 2007
I saw everything that happend then. But the truth was that we became so emotional about it because Abiola Died in Jail. He is too ambitious and I dont like that.

laudate:
And so what, if Fela called him I.T.T??  angry

The fact still remains that he pulled off a political feat, that very few people thought was possible. He ran an effective campaign that cut across the legnth & breadth of Nigeria. Too bad, he was deprived of his mandate. In fact, Obasanjo owes a lot of his emergence as President, to the fact that Abiola ran a credible or formidable campaign, scored a political victory even though he wasn't allowed to claim it, and earned a lot of post-humous goodwill, as a result of this feat.

Go figure!
So what did he do for Nigeria that everyone is shouting june12 June12   was it because of the campaign? Okadigbo was also fighting for same thing when he died. I have heared so many rumours about that guy. That he ran some dirty deals in the past that made him not seat on that power for one minute.

debosky:
stanech don't vex me with the 'big brained' Okadigbo here oh, I don't speak foul of the dead, but when you reduce the symbol of authority of a nation (mace) to something you steal and carry to your village, or you award a 200 million naira contract to put street lights on a 100m driveway, I don't know why we should remember him positively.

MKO was human as well, but he died fighting for a dear principle - the sanctity of the choice of the people. that is what he symbolises, especially in the light of the recent shambolic elections we just had.
I do not mean to vex you, all I am saying is that people just like singing Abiola this Abiola that.  He made his money through ITT and other federal contracts that was awarded to him in the 70s. As far as I am concern he is a thief as Fela said he is a thief and should not be celebrated
Politics › Re: Chimaroke Namani The Most Corrupt Governor by stanech: 7:12pm On Jun 12, 2007
Nnamani may be corrupt, but saying he is the most corrupt is an overstatement. I have been to Enugu and I will tell you that apart from Ngige, Nnamani is another other governor that performed in his State. I am not saying he should not be punnished for the funds he stole. All I am saying is that he is not as bad as beeing the worst
Politics › Re: Rest In Peace Chief Mko Abiola ! We Miss You ! by stanech: 7:05pm On Jun 12, 2007
I still do not know this MKO guy, is he not the same guy Fela called ''international thief thief''? ITT?

Or is it because he died fighting his own selfish interest?

What of people like Chuba Okadigbo one of the greatest brains Nigeria has ever produced may his soul rest in Peace

Typical nigerians

They will always complain. I have not heared someone complaining about the pitch yet.

Uganda has a football team like Nigeria. So if them beat Nigeria with a margin 2:1 no be surprising thing. Make una no blame anything na game. you win some you loose some.

The truth still remain that it is the level to which Chukwu and other Nigerian coaches has reduced us to that we are trying to come out from. It will not be easy because other african countries no longer see the eagles as supper

Take heart my guys.

slimnike:
GBAM.
I agree with you slimnike. South Africa is the giant of Africa let us accept that. Unless you are talking about corruption Giant.

olaak1:
Let SA solve the political problem in its nabour Zimbabwe before I'll agree with you they "giant of Africa" for Nigeria go to Liberia, Sao tome and the city of Free town then you know Nigeria is in deed the Giant of Africa.
There is no war in Zimbabwe It is just some sort of bad rulars trying to inflict pains on the masses. So it will be difficult to intervene into such issues. Think of the role SA is playing in all the countries in southern Africa. Thier role during the flood in mozambique. You have to travel to SA and see the level of development. Then you will know what i am talking about.

Let us try to access the rate of performance of our governors and Mr President from 2003 till date.

In my own state (Anambra)  it was removing and replacing of governors. But I think Ngige is still the best thing that has happened to Anambra state. His works can still be seen in all the corners of the state. Especially in Road construction and rehabilitation. For Obi and Etiabia well they are just an empty shell.

I must confess my people
I use to be among the people who thought that Nigeria is not progressing.
But from 2003 till now I have stoped resoning that way.

Honestly BABA IYABO has done what no other president has done for Nigeria. Rating all the president we have had since 1960 he is the most achieved in terms of infastructural development. If Yaradua continues where baba stop, na im be say soon we will have every reason to smile again in this country

Politics › Re: Buhari And Atiku Have Called For A Protest by stanech: 7:23pm On May 02, 2007
There is a saying that if u throw a stone upward it must fall back to you. In 2003 Atiku rigged OBJ in and now He has been rigged out. For all I care this is the law of KARMA. AND for Bugarri he should go to the mosque to become an imam rather than turn this counrty into an Islamic nation of his dreams.

For anyone that wants to protest abeg come collect cutlass for my house. As for me I will join to fight anybody who carryout any protest because among the 3 Yaradua is the best
