You can trust this personality, hisenjos for your PayPal exchange. I was sceptical too when I first attempted to sell my $99 PayPal to him from freelancer.com. I was surprised at the speed of payment. He pays within 20 to 30 minutes. I suggest you try selling small amount to him for now just to test his reliability. Though he charges 100 naira per transaction if you are not using his bank and he pays 175 per $ if the amount is above $100 and 170 for anything less than $100. As for me, this is good rate. Coupled with the fast payment, I will stick with him

It was 19.61 naira exactly. On the 20th of March, Debit - 397.96. After 5 days, 25th Credit - 378.35. And dollar rate on both days was same 204.08 so it's not even like dollar lost value of something. Anyways, how will i cry about 19.61 naira? I'm a patriotic Nigerian. I used the money to support the Nigerian banking sector. My money keeps them going. Lol.

The Google charge is a pending so it must return the same way. The PayPal $1.95 is a refund, and u will receive that on Monday or Tuesday next week, i want to see how much Stanbic processes refunds at. If Diamond bank could do 194.02 then anything is possible. Regardless, let's know when that comes in.

Here's stanbic's response to that email about added beneficiary to ur internet banking profile. SCAM MAIL. I also tweeted at them saying that i and 2 other people i know got the same email, they said that they will look into it. Someone is going to Kirikiri soon. Lol.

P.S: I also think the guy that reported this issue initially has a ridiculous twitter handle too. lol.

What money? PayPal or mobile banking fee? PayPal only refunded me 1.95 tho. I think that's how it works tho.

Paypal for Nigeria is just as effective as any other country's own, just the obvious issue of not being able to receive payments. As long as the limit has been lifted on ur account, u should be fine.

Hmmmm!! From the mail sent to me about my balance, I noted 2 things. I paid for an item of 2.99 on aliexpress and 1.5 PayPal charge= 4.49USD so after my calculations their charge was #222.3 or I don't know whether they still charge me 1USD for adding on Google wallet, but if so, their charge would be #181. 66

I just hope the latter is the real one

The Google one is debited and credited back immediately. It's not a charge, it's called a 'pending authorization' or just a 'pending'. Most websites put a pending on ur card when u place an order but don't actually collect the money just incase u decide to cancel the order to avoid having to start processing a refund, immediately the order is shipped then u are actually charged. The whole time the money doesn't appear in ur balance tho, in more developed / advanced banks overseas you will see pending authorizations on ur statement too, sadly not here. They want any opportunity to scam u on refunds. Lol.
Different from a refund, in the case where the seller has received the money but is paying you back.

Anyways, U can never know until you get ur hands on ur statement or u get alerts. I paid in another 1,000 into my account yesterday, just to be sure that my alert was working, i received both text and email alerts for the transaction. I have 2,950 in the account for now. ATM fee was 1050 so yh, instead of 4K.
I told u to apply for internet banking, u said no. Got my Internet banking password yesterday, would check on it today. And, PayPal charges $1 for adding the card and then another 1.95 dollars (would be refunded) for confirming the card so add these values and calculate with regards to ur initial and current balance.
2.99 + 1.00 + 1.95 = $5.94
I'm pretty sure that should make it fall around the 200 naira rate.

@jeffy1206 no show on my Stanbic card. Not working. YET.
Btw, u didn't say how much was charged to the card by PayPal. is the rate actually 199.5? And when the refund comes back, check if Stanbic processes at a lower rate.

Diamond Bank's rate remains unchanged - 204.08.

If your card was successfully added, then u don't have any issue with it. Mine can't even add to Google wallet. Not yet at least. PayPal has different issues don't worry about it too much, just try again later...

I made trip number two to my stanbic branch.
I had to go and apply for the Mastercard irrespective of the fact that I already filled a form earlier.

Based on your experience, I hope to finalize everything when I make the third trip to collect the card in five working days.

That is just wrong on their part, i didn't have to apply again for the card. it's basic these days that you get an ATM card. Sadly, most people will have to take 3 trips as these stanbic guys, it feels like they are still figuring things out really.
Anyways, try put pressure on GTB.

The easiest and cheapest way really is adding it to ur Google Wallet, it would be debited and refunded immediately. Exactly $1. You won't lose any money either.

The reason I love Access is that after opening your account and you get your card, it just works. Even opening an Internet banking account is as easy as downloading the app and registering. You will have to get to the bank to get the software token sha

I'm not a sexist but I'll say this. With respest to woman and appreciation to every woman walking on the face of the earth, i think you guys are great and i think you guys can do whatever a man can do better and all that good stuff you guys like to hear.

However, i feel like in this part of the world women shouldn't do tech support/customer care jobs. 95% of them are underinformed, misinformed or not informed at all. I spoke to maybe 2 or 3 customer care ladies yesterday and none of them stated dat i had to go back to the bank to fill the Mastercard secure code update form. The first guy i spoke to gave me this information and it was the right thing to do. Even the person dat has been attending to me at the branch has been a lady and i asked her yesterday, she said i didn't need to do anything else and today she's saying that it's true dat i have to do it. I have experienced this many times in various institutions not only in Nigeria but in Ghana too.

Please the feminist groups shouldn't rain down fire and brimstone on me. I love women. Lol.

I am currently at StanbicIBTC. After filling the form i still had to write a formal request to the Branch manager for the activation of the card for online transactions. However, it's being handled now. All of you heading to stanbic should try take care of all these on ur second trip.

I normally use my UBA Naira Mastercard to make transfer to other banks, they usually charge me #100 on all transactions.

Unless i have too much money and i haven't been noticing this 100 naira charge then I'm pretty sure i have been charged 0. Infact, the reason i use my mastercard instead of my verve card is because of the 0 charge. If not i wouldn't stress myself typing my mastercard number everytime as my Verve card is already added to my quick teller account.

That email is genuine. I'm sure you added a beneficiary to your inteenet banking profile, which allows you to do transfers to such a beneficiary without having to generate OTP every now and then.

On the mother's maiden name thingy, I also had the same issue until I called their customer care and I was directed to fill data update form at a nearest branch. I did and the rest is history.

i don't understand the first part of ur post, i don't even have my Internet banking details yet, yet to receive it.
