heisdvrkskinned: So true. My learning process is as sluggish as a snail. Like the girl you talked about in your post. Why not start with her. Don’t go with a mindset of getting her. Just achieve the first step by bumping into her. What I mean just find a secenario you talk to her even if it is few lines. Basically about something related to where both of you are. And another time you meet you can always use such opportunity to proceed further like knowing her names and where she stays. Third should be phone number and maybe a show of interest. Then from phone to maybe a hangout and then to date. Although every step up there na based on format o. But that is the timeline for normal street paro. If I go in details I go over type. But truth is there is no guarantee a girl will always fall for you, it also depends on the situation around her at that moment also. E.g Girls that like their current relationship are not so easy to convince. Disclaimer: don’t use this format for a runs girl o |

Romance › Re: Should A Man Take Permission From His Wife Before Sending His Parents Money? by stanliwise(m): 11:15pm On Jul 18, 2020 |
GboyegaD: No but it all depends on the type of financial structure you maintain.
As a way of illustration: If you do 100% joint account, then you need explain what you spend money on if it is bulky otherwise, there might not be need.
If you do certain percentage (say 70% for example), and parents allowance is not part of what you agree to spend your family income, then, you can give them out of your 30% and it would be nice if you mention it to your wife. You need not mention the amount. However, if parents allowance is part of it, then either party can do the transfer.
Most importantly, there is no clear cut way to do such. Just find what works for your family. how many bottles do you drink sir and what brand? |

It is good she knows before you send because she may bring you to remembrance of something you may be missing or have forgotten but we don’t call it permission. We call it signaling. You don’t need anyone permission. |

Plus being irresistible for anyone of them, both the ones I have flings with and don't. And how to never run out of things to say to any stranger nor them. Thanks. read “The game” Also don’t follow bad guys o because you wanna woo a girl o, na gutter you go land last last o. Programming › Re: Let's Review Nairaland's Method Of Categorizing Posts by stanliwise(m): 9:04pm On Jul 18, 2020 |
ibromodzi: Nairaland remains Africa's largest forum with over 2M members. As such, several topics belonging to different sections hit the front page per day with posters having to choose the right section their posts should go to. If you are a regular user of this forum, you must have seen one or two occasions where posts end up in a wrong section. In order to tackle this issue, I feel it would be better if Nairaland can embrace state of the art approach by embedding some ML/NLP algorithms that automatically classify topics into the right sections, rather than leaving posters to choose the section for their posts.
What do you think guys? This algorithms would be automatically flawed as most topics and post are constructed in a way to fit multiple categories. Tagging will be a good suggestion in my opinion. The problem of Nairaland forum is the integrity of user within it. Users are verified usually by mail only and new user have same power as old and trusted users. This means there is no rule specific to user credibility and everyone is anyone aside admin. Which has a good and bad side. |

SegFault: I don't care if it becomes the next big thing. What is my business with that? All I care is that I have built one and I am happy with it. That is the mentality that will move us to the next level but no we prefer to use libraries made by others, so called technologies made by others and the sort. Keep on following in the footsteps of others, most Nigerian programmers are all the same. I just laughed when I saw what you said about the number of programmers who have not built their own compilers or OS won't reach 5, this reminds me of what a CS student said about these so called developers. Have you seen the source code for GCC on github (GNU Compiler Collection) there are thousands of contributions made to that project so shift abeg. Do you know that Linux too has thousands of contributions, ah these developers of nowadays. I don’t know what you guys are arguing about o but you speak of compiler construction and I can tell you it ain’t that hard. It takes time but not so hard. I created a small one back in school but it was as slow as Bleep coupled with the fact that I created it with a scripting language PHP. The ones you mentioned about are big time compilers and are used for serious work so it takes thousands to create. |
