I will be very brief about this, I recently moved in to lagos, but as lagos is I had accommodation issues .
My elder brother who is married offered to help my renting a 3 bedroom apartment. But he told me that he will be making use of one of the rooms, which obviously i had no choice than to agree.

After settling in, I noticed he brings random girls to the house to sleep with, infact there are times he sleeps with 4 different girls.
He doesnt even use protection. The wife had before now complained to me, I didnt understand how bad the situation is until I saw things for myself. There is no week he doesnt bring in girls , the only time he slows down is when he is short of money.

Four months ago I entered into relationship with a single mother of one ( a girl precisely), in my neighborhood, we are both mature. To be sincere and to cut the long story short, this lady meet at least 60% on a scale of 100% the type of life partner I ever envisaged. The relationship took a higher level that she was so free with me that she wouldn't wear pants while on her wrapper with me in her apartment sometimes in her bra alone and so.
However, here is where my concern stemmed from, on our first sex though after romancing her to the point that she was wet and I said no sex she refused angrily and said someone else is giving me sex that is the reason for my refusal. I have been struggling with landing jobs on upwork and fortunately for me, I applied to one last night and the client replied back and we did interview and was given a quick test task to do which I did and sent to him, only to plug my laptop to charge so I could hop on the zoom call to finalise with the client, NEPA took light and not quite long, my laptop went off and neither do I have a smartphone I could have used for the call. I just checked back this morning after the so called NEPA brought back light and saw that the client has hired someone else, I really feel pained that after struggling to land a job and this particular one came but lost it because of NEPA. I will never forget this day and I am waiting for who will come and tell me to be a patriotic Nigeria. This country is a mess. Any country that can give 24/7 power supply is far better than Nigeria even if is Sudan. I feel pained!

I have a male kid that is about 3 years old and I recently observed that a particular kid in the compound that is 2 months older than him always attempt to bully him at sight.

The few times this have happened in my presence, I restrained my son from retaliating cos the boy in question is autistic. Though my wife also informed me, there was a day my son fought back and the boy stopped his bullying attempt for a while afterwards.

This morning my son was about to leave for school. Immediately he came out of the apartment, the boy ran towards him and hit him. Once more, I stopped my son from hitting him back but this time his mum (my neighbour) experienced the scenario and only made a remark to the boy to stop looking for trouble. I felt she made the remark just to create an impression that she was concerned.

I've been feeling so uneasy about this since morning and this is obviously a bullying case and I'm subtly training my kid to tolerate it. Hence, I've concluded that the next time such will happen, I will ask my boy to fight back.

Just to have your opinion on this matter, is fighting back the best approach in this situation putting into consideration the health condition of the bully ?

In over 40yrs of this great mistake I have never seen a Nigerian who made it in America or Canada. In my house I use WiFi extenders and that's the best way to share it.
You get a WiFi extender to connect to the starlink router wireless and it'll extend to wider distance that the router may not reach. You can even still extend the extender again with another extender depending on how far you want to reach.

Before now, we don't have Internet at all. We have only mtn 2g that comes with only 1 bar.
It's so rural and remote with no road for hours that network providers decided they can never come in there for the villagers.

Here i am now... Thanks to starlink, I now browse on very good speed.

I am using the RV service (recreational) which means I can use it anywhere in Nigeria and in future, anywhere in Africa without changing service address like those using fixed residential service.
RV costs $53 while normal residential costs $43 in Nigeria.
RV can pause their payment but residential can never stop starlink from charging them whether they use it on not except they cancel their service totally or empty their bank balance.

Disadvantage with RV is that you get slower speeds compared to residential fixed people. You see I'm getting 60mbps while residential people get over 150mbps.

But I don't care. Even 10mbps is enough to stream Netflix on full HD. It's more than I need.

Lastly, I see many comparing starlink to their 5g or fibre in cities. Let it be made clear that STARLINK IS NOT FOR CITIES BUT FOR REMOTE AND RURAL AREAS
Starlink didn't do their service to compete with providers in cities. Even their site clearly says its for remote and rural areas.
But as per se, in Nigeria even our city internet providers are epileptic, that's why many are using it in Lagos and Abuja which shows that our networks are bad.
