TheGoodJoe:
There was no official Super Eagles thread back in 2013 but the match threads used to serve the purpose. It was huge then.

For instance, a friendly match thread could go on for weeks. The AFCON threads then were electric, with the controversies from the list of Keshi which always sparked debates. Especially the home based players and calling a young Omeruo. The dropping of Yobo was fire. The unleashing of Mikel. The NFF debates.

So as each matched progressed in the AFCON, it was like a relay of electric debates.

Very nice atmosphere. It went on to the World Cup which was madness. From the demolition of Spain by Netherlands, to the resurgence of the 3-5-2. To the diving of Robben, to Nigeria getting to the second round.

I think the thrashing of Brazil was the pinnacle of it.

(still in shock)

So the match threads were the real deal then before we found a home in the Super Eagles thread.
so we never celebrate any cup truimph in this thread?? ? Hmmm

Well soon enough,

I did trials with that club around 2011-2012... a lot of boys went to the church team after onazi and Emmanuel both starred for the under 17, abi na 20... Fortunately for me, I had my former classmates as one of the younger brother of a top shot there...

Met tb Joshua once, gave us 3k each and that small bag of rice, after our coach collect 1k each from everyone, I carry 2k go meet my mama for shop say Dem go soon sign me, come see prayer....

I'm not arguing that Osimhen isn't a head above shoulders compared to strikers in his age range in Europe. I just want him not to let the accolades get to his head. That's all
I understand you elf man, we'd just have to watch things unfold, i pray it will be a good time for us on this thread and all supporters of the Super Eagles of nigeria...

I don't think i have won any cup for the Super eagle's since I joined this thread, last time we won anything was 2013, and I was just starting then.... The highest was semi afcon this June, and here was massive, especially the Algeria game.... Imagine a final, a final we are winning, oboy....

Where you here in 2013? How was the atmosphere

when he is not mad.... If he thinks he can act only for himself, he dey decieve himself... . Osihmen is now public property.... He must score for us everytime... He must improve everyday.... He can't afford to slow down, if Tammy score 1, he must score 2.... If halland make a big move, we expect him to also..... He will spear head our golden age.... He must deliver for us....

We must also pray for him, against injury of any kind, on a bad patch we must always support him to get back to his best.... He is our main investment.... Why do you guys think we don't really care about Tammy so much.... Cuz we gat Victor....

I beleive in the boy with chuks and kalu, and aribo, and ndidi and semi and ekong and aina....

A lot of people are not satisfied with the lb position, and Simon place in the team and goalkeeper and a proper 10.... I think if we can tackle this positions and sort everywhere , things go soft for us gan....

I'm glad Im part and parcel of this new team, I was a very young in 94 and 96 and only saw highlights, these ones I'm following bumper to bumper.... He don teh wey we lift afcon abeg....

What do u guys Think about Jorgen Klinsman as the technical coach of the Super EAGLES ?

He made history with the US team at the world cup .

they played with so much energy .

just thinking that Rohr combination with this guy can give us the world cup if Nff think in this direction .... we have got the talents only need to harness them .

to me ROHR need a more technical assistant that understood the scientific aspect of the game ... its not about parking the buss when its not necessary ....this attitude has cost us in the past
I don't know about a klinsman, but if we could get someone credible, preferably a German to compliment rohr, with our large number of upcoming players, both local and foreign, we would rule....

Almost all our boys are playing week in week out, osihmen scoring, kalu assisting, chukwueze a rising star, aribo a very good cm, ndidi top 3 df mid in the world, Aina a visibly improved rb/lb/wb... Etc....

I agree with you that Osimhen is a good finisher and has (or is still developing) all the qualities of a good target man. However, I would lobe for him to remain humble and keep on working hard while shunning distractions. I won't want him going the way if Isaac success, KC Nacho and Nwakali. We have lost too many young stars to indiscipline.
from the beginning, I had always known iheanacho was gonna be a big issue..... Even from the u17 I still do not know his preferred position, is it a 10? A 8 or 9....

At Man city he scored a couple of goals, and I was surprised he was used as a 9, but even my mother would score a couple of goals if she was playing a striker for Guardiola.... He is not the fastest, nor has the most skill, nor very clinical, osihmen on the contrary is a lot more of a striker than him... Infact I dont see any striker in Europe in "osihmen" age range that is better than him.... Maybe halland Sha, but some people here will say they are on par.... So mention any new player from 19-22 better than osihmen( both stat and everything)....

yeah,if its Osimhen, he can cope any where as long as he gets service. Thought we were talking about Kelechi Iheanacho.
that was why I was confident of him coming to the EPL.... As long as osihmen get quality service be it naija league, Spanish, italian or epl, the boy would finish..... I have a very high target for him.... It's not easy to be the heir to yekini...

If you follow united and Rashford closely you will notice that the English man is unplayable when deployed wide, even united's coaches know this fact.

It's not about sentiment but what brings in the desired results. United re in dire need of quality and won't bench a striker who will guareentee the team atleast 15 goals a season because of mere sentiment
gbam...

The amazing thing about the team is that 70% of the players are under the age of 24.

Another one is the rich depth of talented uncapped players (from the home front and those born abroad) who praying and hoping to get a chance to fight for a place in the team.
I know one or two boys are yet to be discovered oooo, with all the names we mention here, eze, okereke, ejuke, that Sparta prsgue boy that played against Inter, Denis, those German boys, the return of ebuehi, (not popular choice) but nacho is still there and who knows can improve.... Not forgetting one small boy that will break out from the u17, u20, u 23 etc.... And all are stills u23years of age....

I don't think I have witnessed so much good young players available for the Eagles... We must rule with this team.... Chuckwueze, osihmen, kalu, ndidi, aribo etc would be the envy of every African national team... Countries would think we have a good scouting network and development program, not knowing say na swear and wahray tactics we dey use manage ourselves... Lol...

Let Osimhen avoid the EPL totally. The favouritism there is baffling. He can go there see him benching for one English lad unfairly.
I don't see any English boy benching osihmen... His style and attitude is not benchable on the long run.... Play him and he would score and assist...
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Starboytwo(m): 10:27pm On Nov 18, 2019
Here is what I'm predicting for osihmen and others

Victor will transfer from Lille, but not this January.... Off course nowhere else we want him but the EPL, maybe for a top eight side( I'm sure he would scatter the league upandan, if Tammy can score 11 goals already, then osi can do like 14)... Let's say he do like 20- goals all season, next thing, MAN U, GBAM

But one thing I'm very sure of is this boys are the new golden generation and they would rule Africa, not once, not twice. .

Good day nlanders

I recently opened a game shop in my area, it's 3 week old, I manned it sometimes with my brother also helping out but I have a boy in the hood who I instructed to stay there and keep it running...

Problem is LIGHT huh

I know how naija is ok, but now it's really baffling as I have to buy fuel with every money I made in the shop... E.g yesterday I made 500 and I had to buy fuel with it, just to keep it running.....

As it is, I'm not making any profit, or rather I'm making money but using everything for petrol...

I'm rather confused and I need tips from fellow business owners, please how do you break even? Is there some tricks with your generator? Or you have some petrol link or anything huh Cuz as things dey like this, he dey weak my moral, I swear...

I worked for him, he refuse to pay me... I didn't say anything

On Sunday I saw his son, and we played football together (opposing team).... I mauled him, he got a nasty injury.... I told him sorry...

Later the next day, papa use police come arrest mehuh For what na(dunno)... Spent two days with the popo as I refuse to call anybody.... No food, no nothing... Popo leave me....

I saw his car parked a week later, at night I vandalised it... Broke a lotta stuffs, tire, mirror, etc...

Police came again and took me(no evidence) but this time I called my people, narated what happened, I let public opinion crucify him....

Later he came for settlement, his boy limping, his car fu.cked up, all for what, cuz of 15k that was due me... I worked my ass out for that two weeks with him, but you wanna play me smart.... Emi mad man....

Nobody cheats me.... It's the only thing I'd kill for....

I collected my 15k, yes with a price, cuz I spent 3 days with popo( hard labour) but I got my money....

I apologise for his sons ankle, na football... As for the car I don't know no nothing....

Rubbish
