Assuming what you posted above is true, how would prayers avoid the failures?

If Covid didn’t teach you Nigerians anything it should have at least exposed the scam y’all have been fed by these con men that always resort to prayers.

Why not pray against COVID-19 that is the root cause?
Don't mind him, I should pray for Agbaje of GTB and his bank that debited me during lockdown or Wigwe and his bank bank that donated billions to FG that deducted money from me carelessly.

The guys pastor is surely enjoying life on his sweat like so many Nigerians grin!!!

The banks have been shaken severely by Covid, cbn's irrational measures and government's lackluster economic policies. These are unusual times and the banks have been hard hit. H1 results will be underwhelming. Let's pray against bank failures.
A lot of you talk trash in this forum.

Pray for what exactly, that banks did not charge me fees during all my transactions in the lockdown even while i did not work?

Or Gtb did not debit me at the end of the month for their loan?

Carry your religion fanaticism elsewhere!!!

Don't piss us off...its too early.

Bros, you should have waited for Sterling to get to 1.12/1.15 region nah.
I only didn't comment on it initially because I wasn't aware if you were buying due to insider info.......and I don't know much about Sterling.
Hope you did your homework and background checks well (financials & all that) before accumulating sha.
I did not buy below 1.20 but I accumulated most of my sterling below 1.25

After the cross deals today I will observe next week and continue adding... I want to hold this bank for long term unless their retail banking startegy changes I see them improving medium term to long term

From FIDELITYBK to UACN to ZENITHBK to JAPAUL to GUINNESS down to STERLINGBANK.

He BETTER go and APPEASE the gods grin
I have added to my stock positions today while you sit on the fence as usual...

But once a bull market appears...you start preaching how you bought at previous low. That is why I asked if you truly own any stock? grin

You cried for Guinness to hit N14 yet you cant say if you bought a single unit or not...but once market picks you come out shouting on how you bought at N12 grin

Anyways I keep adding to my positions...Short or Long Term...I love my stock picksgrin

As someone who used to work there i wont put my 1naira in it based on the young mgt as the MD spends most time on social media like Twitter and Linkedin instead of looking for ways to grow the banks bottomline

The social media wars was the most childish thing i saw and did it add any valuable corporate customer NO!!!

The mass exodus of his tech staff who do the creative work is also worrying with the likes of Polaris bank and FBN taking the very smart ones

Dont invest on sentiment but TA or fundamentals
You worked there but clearly did not know what was going on inside...that is expected of most bankersgrin

You dont even know the MD of the bank you worked in grin

I hope ur reason for buying isn't just because u saw a young management team at Sterling HQ.
...'Cause if that's ur basis for asset positioning, then pls informed that there are also young managers in coys like MIDVIEW AIRLINES, VERITASKAP, OMATEK, ROYALEX and TRANSCORP. grin grin grin

At the current price peg, STERLING is good, but surely not the best right now. ...both on a P2P and sectoral analysis.
Just ensure u don't overpay for it !!

Btw, of the 5 coys mentioned above, I think the last 2 still hold some potential. ...but then again, they aren't the best pick for now.

Selah
Its a growing bank and very innovative....Board position is strong including management and their books looks good for a growing bank, with majority of its shares in few hands

Indians also play a major role in the future of the banks management.

Its best for me....I will accumulate more for long term.
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by stcool(m): 10:11am On Jul 01, 2020
Sterling Bank will make me Good profit

I can feel it...grin grin grin grin

But I will hold for long term and accumulate more...I love what i see with their young management at the HQ.
