Congrats to the Warriors for extending this by one more game. They did well. Their shots were falling in.
I actually think the refs were hard on them in this game. I almost felt sorry for them.
Two home losses should make the Warriors know that Oracle is not the fortress they think it is. That being said, it's one more game for us basketball fans to savour.
Raptors in 6. |

Roland17: Kerr needs to stop sending Cousins to the top of the key to defend ball handlers because he is getting smoked. It is not like they are P&R switches, these are ISO situations. It's not his fault, the pick n roll is causing it |

Eruditor: Mans are still talking about back and forth with Kawhi that I said could not guard Steph or Klay. That 47pt game was so funny. Steph abused him so much.
But of course..no word (not because we lost) but because it does not suit the narrative that he is this defensive juggernaut. I didn't see Kawhi guarding Stephen on more than 2 possessions in that game. And I only remember Stephen making one 3 off a screen when Kawhi was guarding him. So what are u saying? |

Lol, it's crazy how folks can go from 'we don't need KD, we're better without him' to 'I hope he's ready for game 5, we really need him'. Dudes, KD don't give a sh#t about GS right now, his bags are already packed. You think after all the insults from fans and players alike he's gonna want to play through the injury? Hell, who even knows if he's not the one faking the injury sef?
The earlier y'all accept this defeat the better for y'all. |

Eruditor: Kevon looney and Jordan Bell are also superstars.
Pray for the Raptors if you want to troll GSW that the NBA will say the series should end now. If there is a game 5, GSW have won already in 7.
Hope you'd be online by then. I'll be here, up and doing, ready to troll the living day lights out of you and your kind |

Warriors in 7 still. Then Green, Igoudala, Livingston and Cook are all superstars. Raptors in 5 |

Eruditor: Yes he was. That was his coronation. He was a star from 2013/14. In 14/15 he became a superstar. Then Klay was a superstar as well in 2014 |
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by steady986(m): 9:37pm On Jun 09, 2019 |
Eruditor: What does ppg have to do with superstardom?
We were not talking about if Klay was good. You said Klay was a superstar and I said he was not. Siakam is good now too..he is not a superstar. My argument. Was Curry a superstar in 2014? |
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by steady986(m): 7:40pm On Jun 09, 2019 |
Eruditor: So what made Klay a superstar?
I don't want to question your ability to understand things.
Klay had won no ring. Klay was only an all-star for the first time that season because GSW won 67 games.
So what narrative is changing? There is nothing Klay did in that finals that Siakam has not equalized.
Abi don't you know what a superstar is? Klay is a superstar now. But he was not a superstar in 14/15. Well, it seems we have a disagreement on what a superstar is. But we were talking of whether Klay was already good in 2014, and I tell you he was, cos he averaged 21.7 that year, while Curry averaged 23.8. |
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by steady986(m): 6:41pm On Jun 09, 2019 |
Eruditor: I pledge to you, GSW will win game 5 and this series will get to game 7 where we shall win.
You can quote me. I will be here...LIVE. KD or no KD, Raptors in 5 |
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by steady986(m): 6:39pm On Jun 09, 2019 |
Eruditor: So is Siakam a superstar?
He scored 34 in game 1 as well. And has averaged more points this finals than Klay did in 14/15.
You see how the double standard works out?
Anyways, no need for the long talk. GSW in 7! Was Klay a splash brother in 2014/2015 or not? Again, you change the narrative to dodge the topic. Scoring 34 don't make Siakam a superstar. And scoring 5 don't make Klay any less of a superstar. |
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by steady986(m): 3:58pm On Jun 09, 2019 |
Eruditor: Klay Thompson? LOL
FVV is having a better finals this finals than Klay did in 2014/15.
Klay had 5pts in game 6. 5 points.
That is an aside, because, Warriors in 7! The fact that he didn't show up in game 6 don't mean that he wasn't a superstar. He averaged 21.7 in that regular season, which is around his usual average. And besides, he scored 34 points in game 2 of that final. |

We all know who wanted half their roster gone midseason I don't remember LeBron being appointed GM or coach of the Lakers. |

Eruditor: His first clutch game against GSW in the finals. But see how he is now a super star with other "decent" players. Oya, people should come and tell us the super stars Curry had in 2014/15? Instead what we kept hearing was how injuries helped GSW. But Injuries have not helped Raptors now? lol The double standard is crazy. Lol. So Klay was not a superstar then? |
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by steady986(m): 8:48am On Jun 09, 2019 |
A40: That's immaterial when brought to the crucible of playoff basketball. The playoffs was where the deficiencies of the Raptors have been exposed. Don't bring regular season into this matter. They didn't bring Kawhi for the regular season
Their bench as it stands is competent. Who are the teams with so-called better benches? Why are they not in the NBA Finals. Didn't Milwaukee have a loaded bench? Why didn't they get to a Game 7 even with home court You seem to be forgetting the fact that they added Gasol for the playoffs as well. |
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by steady986(m): 8:41am On Jun 09, 2019 |
A40: That's immaterial what counts is Kawhi didn't get to Toronto and tried to trade half his roster for All-NBA level talents. Well, I don't know of another player who did that, or even has the power to do that |

A40: Oga make we hear word. If Kawhi wins it would be on record that he did it with Kyle Lowry/Pascal Siakam as his second player and without needing to assemble the Avengers unlike your Fulani nomadic herdsman. Never mind beating Philadelphia (Embiid,Butler,Simmons,Harris) Milwaukee (Giannis, Middleton) on the way No. Unlike KD. |
