Kendrick Perkins is probably the most reasonable person on air right now. Don't speak what u don't know.
Perkins can't say sh*t about basketball, he shouldn't even put on TV.

Take a seat brother.
And also as substandard as the ones made in Nigeria.

Lol, this dude trynna scare me with literature. You're the type that actually talks uncontrollably about basketball, but when you stop and look back at what you have said, you discover you really have not been making sense all along.

Well it's hard to see your favourite player be it curry, being bullied by LeBron or Jordan having his legacy threatened by LeBron or your favourite team losing consistently to him. That's where all the hate comes from. Even now people are so eager to see someone better than LeBron. But if you watch these players and you watch LeBron play and you actually know basketball you know no one comes even close except if he truly has fallen off a cliff which I seriously doubt. So Kawhi or Durant or Giannis or whoever, they can enjoy their few months of sitting atop a throne they know doesn't belong to them but once he comes back we all know it's over for them. There's only ever been a few instances where one player is so much better than everyone else in the league that no one even comes close. With Wilt, KAJ, Jordan, mind you these guys all played carpenters and janitors that they were either taller more skilled or more athletic than and then now there's LeBron dominating the most talented NBA era. People won't realise how great he is probably until he's retired and no one is able to repeat what he's been able to do. That's the saddest part.
You're damn right. LeBron would be surely missed. I noticed how all of a sudden, there are 10 or so players whom the world think can become king. And it took just a groin injury for that to happen. LeBron is the most talked about basketballer in history. The fans, the media, the haters, the pundits all know that when he finally leaves, there would be a huge void that just seems so hard to fill.

I am sorry, what happened to his team after putting up those numbers?
You don't still get it. The game of basketball could be won or lost, but the game remains the same. You can't judge a man based on his ability or inability to achieve victory, he will always stay true to the game. There's how you know that a players lives, eats, and dreams basketball, every other thing seams to be a side attraction for him. Look at the sheer work of art that LeBron is. LeBron is like the Mona Lisa of basketball.

And he knocked Kobe off top spot on my list of favorite players when he joined the Lakers.

You are the dumbest poster on the NBA section I have ever come across. KD was not being doubled that is my point. Rockets preferred to Double Curry. Dimwit. So your argument that Curry goes off because the best defenders don't guard him is rubbish.

CP3 making the all-defensive team because as a small player he is a great defender. But only a fool will leave CP3 to guard KD without help D. That is why In this series PJ Tucker became KDs primary D. PJ Tucker is not only their best defender, he is the only player with sufficient speed and length to make KD think twice some rare times. Even Mike Di Antoni said PJ Tucker is their best defender. LOL. You are all shades of stupid and then some.

KD was not in the warriors in 14/15 which is why you dumbo should not be debating with me. If Pat Beverly was that great D you said he is, I now showed you times where he guarded Curry and suffered severely. Which is why the Clippers coach decided to put Beverly on KD instead. Curry has torched Beverly so much it is hopeless.

Dame is a better defender than who? grin grin grin grin

Every fool knows Dame cannot defend to save his life. Which is why Seth (a player Curry said is the best defender in their house) and CJ that has some height advantage on Curry were placed on him. Turner, Aminu and Harkless have suffered in the past. Get to stepping. You don't know enough to reply my posts. You read box scores.
You're just confusing yourself, I can't help you at this point

You know why you are stupid? You don't even hide that you just guzzle Nick Wright's nonsense to come and spew here without actually watching games. You are giving me box scores to explain Iggy's role in guarding Lebron. LOL.

Lebron was at his most inefficient best in that series. Do you know how many shots he needed to take to average 35ppg? Try 40 shots per game.

If KD shoots 40 shots per game, he will average 70 ppg.

Fvck outta here.
Look, anytime I start an argument with you, my IQ seems to be reducing. You mean you have the guts to come here and lie to all the basketball heads here that LeBron averaged 40 shots per game? You're a disgrace to this thread. For your info, LeBron averaged 27 shots per game. Why am I even wasting my time with you? You don't deserve any respect for spitting this trash.

Somebody liked this post.

Hahaha hahaha.

Finals MVP Iggy. LMAO
You people should just stop with this Iggy finals MVP talk, its annoying. LeBron averaged. 35.8 points, 13.3 rebounds and 8.8 assists in that series. He scored 40 or more mounts 3 times. He recorded a triple double 2 times and just missed out on a third in game 6 where he got 32 points, 19 rebounds and 9 assists. So unless your Iggy got the award for dancing shoki on the court, don't come here and tell me he shut down LeBron. That MVP award was the most undeserved award in Finals history. Take that to the bank.

For you to even compare Middleton and Brogdon to Iggy defensively sef dey one kind. Or u seem to forget Iggy won finals MVP that year all because he was guarding LeBum
Finals MVP that he didn't even deserve. Because I still cant understand you people when you say Iggy shut down Bron. Bron ought to be the MVP that year, only that they hardly give a player on the losing team.

I disagree 100%. The media in the US is very invasive and owe no player any kind of loyalty. Their job is to break and exaggerate stories of any celebrity irrespective of personality.
Why do you think there has been no official diagnosis of Kawhi’s injury? It’s simply because Kawhi asked the team doctor and the Raptors not to discuss his injury and that is why Nurse and Masai continue to deflect questions about it by saying he is healthy and has no injury. Let me assure you that if Kawhi was in the US news about the leg injury would have headlined every game. The Canadian media have respected Kawhi’s private life and even during pressers there is almost no discussion about his injury. Do you think it is possible in the US especially in LA.
You're talking as if once you're in Toronto, you're shut out from the outside world. They still talk about Kawhi on American TV shows. He played on American soil about half the time this season and he faced the media before and after games. The American media can get to you wherever you are.

You know you are a clown so I won't even be taking your rubbish seriously. When have you seen KD doubled? Half way into the court? You have listened to Nick Wright too much you don't even know the narrative again.

Best Defenders are thrown at Klay Thompson? Hahaha. Let me put you out of your misery. The only season that the best defenders were placed on KD was this season because he was far and away the best player. Last year CP3 and Trevor Ariza guarded KD in the Houston series. PJ Tucker was on Curry. As soon as KD went out PJ guarded Curry. How successful was he? Lol.

Pat Beverly? Who else will tell this clown that Pat Beverly was Curry's defender in 14/15, 15/16(before he got hurt). Curry torched the living daylight out of Pat. In fact, in 15/16 Curry had 24 in the first half with Pat on him. All those Jrue Holiday and co. They know their daddy. Like I said, system defense is Curry's weakness. Not individual players.

Just to prove you don't even know anything, you said Dame did not guard Curry. Yes of course. Because Dame cannot play D. How did the CJ and Seth fair by the way?LOL
I guess you should read properly before commenting. Did I ever mention KD being doubled?

You must be a clown. Since when has PJ Tucker been a better defender than Chris Paul?. You must be watching bball with your buttocks. CP3 is a 9 time all defensive teamer. 7 in first team and 2 in 2nd team. Don't talk that trash.

Was KD with the Warriors in 2014?

You've just been talking trash throughout your write up. I'm very sure that Dame is a better defender than Seth and CJ. You're high this afternoon, I won't blame you.

I don't know how someone will look at this series and say the warriors are the favorites. The raptors defense is legit, who on the warriors can stop kawhi? Only KD and he's injured at the moment. If KD comes back early, I see a warriors win but otherwise, it's a raptors win.

Kawhi, Lowry and Danny Green are all legit wing defenders. They will make life difficult for curry and klay.

Regardless of who wins this series will change the legacy of kawhi and curry.

If curry wins, he automatically joins the top 10 all time player and number 2 point guard ever behind only magic.

If kawhi wins, he becomes undoubtedly the best player in the league. 2 final MVPs, 2 Dpoy, 2 nba titles and he's not even 30 yet! He can win a couple of regular season MVP and we are looking at the second coming of MJ.

If the warriors lose and the curry has a shitty series which is very likely with kawhi on him +several double teams. He would be seen as the star player that keeps choking in the finals.
He has to be finals MVP to achieve that

Kawhi has never been able to guard Curry. Add Danny Green and Siakam to the mix. It seems people have forgotten what GSW looked like in 2015/16. If Curry is to have a bad game, it will have to be system basketball doing the job. Since I have watched him, I have never seen individual players guard him well apart from one or two odd events like Dellavadoa. And that was one game, he got torched the next game and Cavs had to re-strategize.

Kawhi is great and all that, but he will need to be better than he has been to get over the hump. Even for him, that is a tall task.
No one ever seems to successfully guard him because when it comes to matchups, the best defenders are always thrown to KD, then Klay, before thinking about Curry. Look at Pat Beverley on KD when normally he should be guarding Curry. And against Portland, Dame didn't guard Curry, instead Seth and CJ took turns in guarding him. I don't see Kawhi guarding Curry this time around though, I think Lowry would guard him. And I believe he'll do a better job on him than his previous defenders. Curry won't be shut down by any means, but he'll be contained better.

Kawhi does not seem like the kind of guy that would enjoy the bright lights of LA or NY. I think he has thrived in Toronto because of the low celebrity demand especially with the media and paparazzi in comparison to the larger markets.
If he was a US market, news about his thigh injury would have been exaggerated and that would have irked him but the Canadian media have respected his privacy and not invaded his life with news about his injury. This would be almost impossible in the US.
The Raptors season can be termed successful at this point. It was important for them to end this series tonight so they can rest before Thursday.
You're under the spotlight as long as you're a star in this league, whether in Toronto or in LA. And you are addressed based on the way you expose yourself to the media. Kawhi has always been a calm guy. And everybody loves him, even the media. So, he'll be just fine in LA too. wink

I never stated there was any specific parameter, hence the Olajuwon vs Pierce example, and i agree Jordan had Pippen, hence his extended career of winning. For instance in 2007/2008 season Jason Kidd averaged 8.6 points, 6.8 assists and 6.4 TRB in the playoffs, do you consider that good?
And in 2012 playoffs he averaged 11.5 points, 6.0 rebounds and assists and 3.0 steals. Is it that he became better at 40 than he was at 35? I thought he was supposed to be declining?
