And you believe what you just typed. Co angry

Giannis did not win back to back MVP, DPOY, Finals MVP and lead his team to a title to be slandered like this.
Who next are you going to say is a big man, KD?

When healthy, AD is the best big man in the game. I don't want to hear any argument again.

Portland feasting on the Lakers defense grin

The level of dependency on LeBron is once again glaring. Not just on offense, also on defensive organization. Na wah o

Didnt watch the game, but as expected, they lost to Thunder again, in the same disgraceful way. Please at WB's stats. We already know he can get his numbers and still the team will lose.
OK. I thought you meant you've been proven correct that the Warriors are the best team in the west.

But speaking of Westbrook, we know who and what he is, but did we expect him to be the leader of the team? No. That person is LeBron. Without LeBron the Lakers don't win the championship anyway, so I can't be bothered about losing a regular season game that he didn't play. This team is built around LeBron, and we can clearly see it in his absence so far. Some bad decisions down the stretch in the two OKC games wouldn't have happened if LeBron was on the court, I can assure you that. We saw that in the Houston game before yesterday. Westbrook will be Westbrook, but for this team to have any chance of success, LeBron has to be LeBron and AD has to be AD.

P.S. Westbrook has really played well in his last few games.

He always said if Klay comes back, he would switch.

I have been saying it since before season began that the Warriors are a bigger threat than anyone else in the West, including Suns. Folks though I was just trying to downplay Lakers and hype someone else. I have been proven correct. Meanwhile Westbrook remains an eternal bust, and Melo is even more useful than Westbrick.

I also rated the Grizzlies and Nuggets aahead of Lakers, for which A40 and his crew tried to crucify me. Again, we have 3 weeks of stats showing I was more right than wrong.

The Lakers DO NOT have a big 4. They have a big 2, one of whom is aging and the younger is too lazy to pick up the mantle. As I said before, the only hope they have of even competing is to play lockdown D. They have as assistant coach with that specialty, but we need to start seeing it in the PPG they hold teams to. I want to see them play a young Grizzlies team and hold them to under 100. Then I will know Lakers have a shot in the west.
How have you been proven correct?/ grin

The way Stephen A has moved from the Nets to the Warriors for the championship is really amazing. Almost shameful. What happened to your 6 foot 11 guy that can pull up from 40? grin

The Lakers are the team with the second fastest pace in the league this season. This is defying all logic grin How could a bunch of grandpas be moving that fast?

Meanwhile, are the Bucks frauds? Abi we have to wait till Jrue and Lopez come back before making a final conclusion.

And James Harden dey attempt 9 shots in a game of basketball. He'll soon tell us what's worrying him.
SportsRe: The NBA Begins by steady986(m): 8:00am On Nov 01, 2021
Kuzma in the first 34 games with LeBron before the injury: 14.6 FGA, 48.1 FG%, 31.3 3FG, 18.1 PPG

Kuzma in the next 17 games without LeBron: 18.1 FGA, 43.4 FG%, 28.4% 3FG, 21.5 PPG

Of course your points are bound to increase if you attempt more shots, it's commonsense (and this applies to Jordan Clarkson too). But look at the disparity in efficiency. That's what we mean when we say LeBron makes you better. It's not about scoring plenty points, everything is not about points, it's the kind of easy looks LeBron gives to you. Without LeBron, Kuzma must have been jacking up ill-advised shots all over the place.

I'm done with this issue
SportsRe: The NBA Begins by steady986(m): 6:23pm On Oct 31, 2021
And for all those castigating Harden, did you bother to look at his numbers first? The man is shooting 37% from the field so far this season, as opposed to 47% last year. Are you saying lack of FTs have something to do with the reduction? And to top it all up he's attempting a paltry 14.8 shots per game, which is his lowest since his 3rd year at OKC. For more context, he attempted 24.5 shots in 2018. Lol. Make una calm down. He's just having a bad run of form. Baba will easily average 25 even with 5 FT attempts.

etidy:
Steph averages 4.2 Free throw per game for his career. Harden averages double but according to you steph is dependent on foul baiting for his points.

In comparison to Harden, he's never average double digit free throw per game in a single season. Harden has done that in about 7 seasons.
Just say you they beef steph curry.
Lol. So now free throws is a sin grin Because someone averages 8+ FT he's now a fraud. MJ averaged 8.7 FTs in his 13 seasons with Chicago and 8.2 overall. LeBron is averaging 7.9. Would we say they weren't elite scorers just because of their high FT numbers?

We're not saying Steph was dependent on flopping to score points, we're just saying he flopped at times. Apart from Trae, Harden and Luka, I don't think there anyone that does that pump fake and jump into defenders more

Cap! Steph has never been dependent on baiting fouls for his offense. In fact, he gets more missed calls than any superstar in the league.

SportsRe: The NBA Begins by steady986(m): 2:24pm On Oct 31, 2021
If you calm down read well, you go see say I write 'started alongside' not 'played alongside'. Make you calm down dey read. Don't expect someone coming off the bench to give you starter numbers.

Imaging thinking 27 games is enough to pump your numbers to ridiculously high figures. This is compared to the +50 they played together o. Dey fear God o. And for your info, out of that 27 games LeBron missed, Kuzma also missed 10 of them. So 17 is your number. And in 32 games (with and without) since 25 December when LeBron got that injury, Kuzma averaged 19.2 points on 43.6% shooting.

Lol. No be to just come here open mouth waaaa. Try dey do background check first.

SportsRe: The NBA Begins by steady986(m): 6:08am On Oct 31, 2021
Studying Kyle Kyzma carefully, we can see that the only thing he's doing better this year is putting more effort on the boards. His FG% has gotten worse from last year. His assists have gone down too. His scoring has increased by just 2.6, and that's because he's starting games and his minutes has increased by 8.1/game. Notice he averaged 18.7 on 45.6% shooting and 2.5 assists as a starter alongside LeBron a couple of years ago. Those were all career highs.

So by and large, we're still waiting to see that improvement without LeBron.

We can rest now.

Russ shot 61% from the field today, attempting only 1 three (and making it) on his way to 19 points. This is what I want from him. Cut down on the jumpers and take the ball to the damn rack. Don't worry too much about filling up the stat sheet. Just contribute your quota to winning. And cut down down on your turnovers. Stop them outrageous passes.

And Melo.... Sheesh. When that man gets hot, it's lights out. 6/8 from 3 last night. We got ourselves a real spot up shooter.
