Just a reminder that Markieff Morris still hasn't played a game since Jokic inflicted that blindside whiplash on him. That's 9 games now. Plus he hasn't travelled with his team for their four-game roadtrip. Imagine some people compared his whiplash to an elbow. I can't believe some people even accused him of flopping. |

Blueelf: Abeg, steady986 abi wetin be your name, you're trying too hard and it's becoming laughable
If a player is good, you don't need to bring up old stat lines or padded stat lines against a bottom team to defend him. Boys here will recognize
Not everyone here is a fan of Steph Curry or Giannis or Lebron James or Jokic or Tatum or KD or CP3 etc, but we all recognize these guys are ballers and I don't see anyone one defend them as hard here as you're doing for a single player
Baba, rest abeg E say if a player is good. So AD is not good abi what is it you're trying to say? Start by answering the question before I even engage you. |

Another tough loss without the King, but I loved what I saw from the boys in the third quarter. Glad to see that Westbrook can still take over games. We'll need that going forward. There's a paltry 63 games left for LeBron to integrate with this team and build some chemistry. I hope it would be enough Las las e fit be .500 wey we go use enter playoffs And props to AD for playing with a fever/flu and with no warm-up before the game. |

benji93: This is rather sad. Someone is asking if KD/Stephen curry has ever put together such a stat. 30 points, 6 assists, 5 blocks, and 4 steals. Very shameful submission. . On a bad day I can understand KD's, but 5 blocks for Curry, Ah, which kain craze be that? Besides, i found something for KD. In one of the 2017 final games against the Cavaliers, he scored 33 points, got 13 rebounds, 6 assists, 5 blocks and 3 steals, with an efficiency of almost 60%. Is that any good? Hehehe. Benjamin my man . I'm sure you had to scour the internet for hours to come up with that one. The only difference between AD and these phonies is he does it on a regular basis.

birdman: Guys that act like this usually dont know how to fight. They can pound on you if you scared by their antics, but they usually lose to people who stay calm and ready. If you come running at a puncher with your head first like a mad man, that is a gift. One hook to your temple and next thing you wake up on the floor as someone is trying to revive you with water .
Unfortunately, guys like this are usually b***, and will think nothing of going after you, your family, anyone around you just to satisfy that demonic anger. The league will be watching this guy. People with this type of hidden anger cant be around nice things. The thing still dey funny me. Small 20 year old wey don overgrow. He was just doing his utmost best to make sure LeBron gets suspended too, because he knows he surely will get suspended. But to get to the king you have to go through the pawns. I noticed how he reduced speed when he reached near DAJ Baba recognize. |

birdman: It took Lebron being ejected and almost run over by a mad man for him to do this. They were going to lose by double digits. Look, any star can give you this stat line on any given night. even Furkan Kormkaz. The superstars do it night in night out. Thats the difference! It has to be in your character, not something you conjure up when you feel gingered. Show me any of KD or Steph's stat line that looks like this. I'm not saying exploding for 50. Or a 40 point DD. Show me a stat line that looks impressive across the board. |

KNIGHTBlaed: I wanted to post after the incident last night that Stewart just messed with NBA Royalty. It's not going to be easy for him going forward because what he did was not ordinary (him village people locate am well). Bron would have been apologizing for at least 2 weeks for that elbow and imagine how he would have been treated should he have kept his calm (yes, he can show his displeasure), but him village people been wan show power. I expect he has a management and family, best is for him make a public apology for such behavior, na why them say 2 wrongs don't make a right. Stewart had LeBron right in front of him but couldn't do shiit. Was he awestruck? Running round the court like a mad dog, dey form tough guy. DAJ was ready to knock your teeth out for the team. You wan use LeBron get attention. You don see superstar wey you go use get small reputation. The king handled himself well. That's how superstars handle things.

KNIGHTBlaed: Abeg, make we hear word. Which injury, the one he was faking so he can avoid Giannis or which other injury? If he was seriously injured, you think he would not leave the game? Someone that was trying to avoid Giannis from the 1st quarter as him see say Giannis dey on fire. AD was not injured, the way he played is the new AD and get ready to see more of him this way. Someone that was looking for an excuse for having a bad day at that point, he was injured and played heavy minutes... TAH!! Whatever makes you sleep at night bro |

birdman: last time we talked on this AD saga, you claimed he was the best big man in the league, but he was not an alpha. Those are your words o, steady. I no wan talk then. But applying your statement to this game, when he plays another big man like Giannis, he will get dominated, because he is not an alpha. So, how can he still be the best big man in the league if there are other big men that he cant perform against?
Now, you say he was playing on one leg tonight. Riddle me this: do you think AD would have continued in the playoffs if he had the type of injury Giannis had in the playoffs last year? Ordinary stomach ache your best big man dey siddon for house dey watch game dey chip potato chips Has Giannis ever outperformed AD the way he did today? Just one game he had injury and we no go hear word. You're now talking as if he gets outperformed by any top big man he plays. The way you like dey nitpick sef. Did Giannis continue in the the game he got that injury? Didn't he have 2-3 day to heal? When AD got his injury in this game, did he quit? I'm sure you didn't watch the game. He played on. But he couldn't be aggressive because of it, that's why Vogel had to put THT on Giannis. AD didn't have a bad game. He shot 60% from the field and even had a better +/- than Giannis himself. And which "stomach ache" kept AD at home? AD played with that stomach infection, even vomiting at halftime but still played on. And P.S, Giannis is not a big man. |
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by steady986(m): 5:24pm On Nov 18, 2021 |
Khanben: Before he came up lame, AD was doing nothing. Whether healthy or bionic, AD and Giannis are not on the same level Giannis is not on the same level with anybody. I've said that plenty of times. I proclaimed him the best player in the league already, even better than LeBron and KD. What I'm saying is when healthy, AD is the best big man in the league. And don't tell me Giannis is a big man just because he's big. Giannis is a forward. The most times Giannis has ever played forward is this season in like 3 or 4 games because of injuries. Lopez, Portis and Thanasis will play center before Giannis does. Hope you get now. AD on the other hand plays at least half his minutes at center every single game. If you want to bring up names like Jokic or Embiid then you have an argument. But don't mention Giannis. |
