That way, you dont have to remember to do this everyday. Just watch out for DNPs and injuries and alter your daily lineup if needed. You kuku be bball news guy

As for Kyrie and the Nets, they should trade him. He is of no value to them not training and not playing so the argument about looking for adequate pieces to augment a trade is asinine. As for those celebrating this laughable and political move by the Nets, let me just remind you that this very same Kyrie was playing for the same team and with the same players just a few months ago whilst still unjabbed. This same player played with other Nets players who were presumably at the time unjabbed (he was not spreading a disease then). But somehow, just a few months after, that same player is persona non grata even though the other players have taken something that makes them protected against Kyrie (if he ever gets the disease). But this is about... science!!! The good thing is, tomorrow is pregnant.

I keep telling guys to stop looking at names. There is only one rock and LBJ is not a magician. I want to see what the Lakers look like defensively come season start. Defense is their hope, because offensively, I can name 3, 4 teams in the west alone far better than they are. As far as I am concerned, Lakers have a big 2. Your 2nd point would have been spot on if the so-called vaccine provided immunity. It does not. You are not more likely to get COVID19 without the jab - Fauci said both jabbed and unjabbed people carried equal viral loads. If you doubt me, what is the rationale behind "protecting other players" if the other players are jabbed? Should they not be protected by the jab? I know someone who thinks they are informed might say the jab only protects against hospitalizations and deaths. Granted, does it not mean only Kyrie is at risk of hospitalization and death? The reality is nobody has been able to make a convincing argument in support of NYC or the NBA - and I guarantee you that this is part of why Kyrie is unwilling to yield. Look at Jaylen Brown who has been jabbed, he recently tested positive and is going to miss games. Why is he not being accused of risking people's lives since he too could have spread the virus? Let me guess, he is not risking people's lives because he complied but if Kyrie was the one who tested positive today, he would have been accused of risking people's lives. Something is diabolically wrong with the logic behind this.

What is happening to the world we live in? Should the behaviour of another muslim be used as a yardstick for all others or should it not be about the tenets of their faith? I asked a question which the 2 other people who tried to respond to ignored because it pokes a big hole in their flawed and uninformed perspective. When NYC announced their mandate, did they not say certain individuals will be exempted from it for medical and religious reasons? If that is the case, then why should Kyrie not qualify for a religious exemption? If people cannot see that something is fundamentally wrong with issuing a mandate, pretending to allow for exemptions to that mandate but then denying all such requests for exemptions, I shudder at what we as humans have become. Then why do they take the knee in solidarity with Colin and why does the NBA allow them to do it? They are all as vicious and insensitive as the people who blackballed Colin for his own beliefs.

Just about any reason a player gives as to why he will reject an experimental procedure is sufficient. In the same way the NBA cannot coerce him into eating food during Ramadan, that is the very same reason they cannot coerce a Muslim into taking anything he believes challenges his faith. One would think the "woke" NBA would understand this and let him be instead of all these coverage and outrage over absolutely nothing. Will Jonathan Isaac and co not be allowed to play in NYC when they have games against Nets and Knicks? So is it not beyond stupid that a home player like Kyrie will be disqualified from playing same game- just because he plies his trade in NYC. If people don't see how ridiculous this is, then they are even bigger dummies in the NBA than I feared. Let them continue with their wokeness and then wonder why they keep losing viewers year in year out.

Actually its the opposite. Star players get injured or load managed often, which can kill your plan A. To counter, you can add and drop players all season long. Rookies and sophomores are very valuable in this regard - some will catch fire midway into the season. Some vets also turn the tables and drop double-doubles after being traded. I owe my run last year to predicting which players are about to get hot and picking them in time. smooshchn and joephemzyz are very good at this btw. Many times, they will have snatched the guy I was setting for like hours beforehand. Other guys know how to beat you with a team that looks inferior, without add/dropping players. Then there are the cats that play like 3 fantasy leagues so they have benefit of strategy from other leagues. I wont name them here before them KILL me

In short, after like the first month, everyone is scrambling for plan B, C and D

The short of it: you draft about 10 players that you think will be the best players in the upcoming season. Every week you line those players up against a different opponent and compete in 10 categories like Most Points, Most Assists, Least Turnovers, FG % etc. Each category you win in is 1 pt. So if you played SmooshCHN week 1, final score might be 7-3 for example. We tally these points per week, and towards the end of the season, the top 6 players enter the playoffs.

Obviously the initial draft is key, and people use different strategies. If you draft a Harden and other scorers, you likely win Most Points category every week you play. But if you draft too many scorers, your rebounds and assists suffer and you might lose overall each week. Or you can draft balanced teams, so that if you have a superstar like AD that goes down due to injury, you team still has enough balance to win categories. The draft has 10 rounds, and by round 3, most of the big name players are gone. This is where you have to think about diamonds in the rough, players no one knows that will ball in the upcoming season.

Every season we have played has its own challenges. Last year, the injury bug was strong in the league, and it changed peoples strategies. Imagine you picked AD with your high draft pick, and he gets injured half the season! You have to figure out how to replace him from free agency. You might get lucky and pick up a no name player that gets hot, or you could trade with another team to re-arrange your roster. You can swap players from free agency up to 4 times per week to help with injuries. Last season people used this a lot to stay afloat.

All of this means the initial draft we do next week is crucial. Everybody wants to pick the superstars like Giannis and Durant obviously. But if you see AD and Lillard available, who do you pick? If you think AD will have his best year ever, you pick the all-rounder AD. If you think AD will have another injury season, you pick a Lillard instead and take his points with a high TO and low FG pct.

I should add that most nairalanders I have played with are bloodhounds, These guys have no joy and will punish you as much as possible. You make a mistake and they will gladly flog you an 8-2 or 9-1. Nigerians have a high level of wickedness in the blood But dont worry, some of us are nice guys, and we will treat you humanely until you learn the ropes.

You score a point over 10 categories over your opponent. So na 10 points per week for each category, like total points, rebounds, steals, blocks, TO, 3pts, FGA, FTA, and the others. You go follow your opponent fight for points and the point go add to your total every week, like say 6-4-0 (meaning you win 6 categories, lose 4 and draw 0), so e go dey add every week. Na so the rankings go dey, highest wins, but make you no worry, na you go be our bonus like some people (I no wan mention names), and you no go kuku make the playoffs, na 10-0-0 I promise you for every time we battle.
