benji93: This game does not say much about any of the teams at this point. In fact the distribution of the points gives a hint of a potential 7-game series. Such a weird distribution. Perhaps the 4th game might provide a better picture. We are not sure Avery can provide such a contribution 4 times in a series, or perhaps, he and Kuzma can alternate. . We are also not sure Lou can be this bad 4 times in a series. The lakers better hope he will be. Best believe that whoever Bradley is guarding gon have an off night. Beverley got cooked, when Lou came on he got cooked too. We have excellent guard defenders in Bradley and Caruso, and we just added Waiters. At this point I have to say there's noting the Clippers guards can do in that series. |

benji93: Perhaps that was bad from Kawhi. But your King shot poorly. It would do you a lot of good to mention AD, maybe that comment should be don't sleep on AD. I hope he brings that to the Playoffs. 14 FT attempts should tell you he was being fouled repeatedly. |

blacksta: 7 pts ... very unusual... Clippers needed a third player ... but fear not ... the Lakers needed this win to stay relevant Lol. To be honest, the Clippers needed it more, at least to be crowned regular season champions against the Lakers. |

After watching this game tonight, my fear of the Clippers just nosedived. I know it's just a regular season game, but more confident of taking them in the post season than I was in the opening day of the season. And one more thing, don't sleep on the KING. I keep saying this but people won't hear. Don't sleep on this man. PSS: those were some poverty numbers from Kawhi, 27/2/0. Wtf is that? |
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by steady986(m): 11:36pm On Mar 08, 2020 |
And f*uck Lou for that cheap shot at the end.
Lou has come small in all the meetings against the Lakers this season. Maybe we should consider him as a non factor for the Clippers in the playoffs against the Lakers. |

A40: Clippers were missing Kawhi. The Bucks didn't eviscerate the Lakers, they won by 7
Playoffs and regular season is a different beast. Are you going to bet on a support cast of Khris Middleton and Eric Bledsoe come playoff time? When Giannis gets covered you need a second guy that can step up and make his own shot. No player has won without that.
Not the GOAT, not Shaq, not Kobe not LeBron not Duncan He say Clippers were missing Kawhi, Lol. Get your facts right bro. Kawhi and PG where fully kitted in that evisceration |

etidy: I think it's just one game.. No need to start piling on Giannis or his supporting cast. Nobody said anything when the bucks eviscerated the Clipper's and Lakers a few weeks ago. Now after one game, his supporting cast is bad. This Team has lost just 10 games this season and won in the absence of Giannis. They are good Abeg. I give them the benefit of doubt. A 7-point victory is not exactly an evisceration |

etidy: Guys guys the mavericks are coming, they are not ready to win it all this year but they look like the 3rd best team in the west already. They give me the vibes of the golden state team that eliminated Denver and took the spurs to 6 games. Porzingis is on fire on both ends of the floor and doncic is a superstar and closer. Hardaway and Seth curry have taken a leap this season.
Rick Carlisle is also a good coach. The lakers and Clippers will be too much for them. But Houston and Denver won't relish facing these guys in the playoffs if they are fit.
Like how will Houston contain porzingis A Clippers-Mavericks series would be interesting. Do they have a man for Porzingis? Especially when he plays the 4 with Powell at the 5 |

Just because LeBron chooses not to defend the best players on the opposing team they say he can't defend. Y'all make me laugh. 5-time defensive first team. Jokers
When it's crunch time best believe LeBron gon be guarding your favourite player. |

I've always said it that if LeBron wanted to average 40 in the regular season, he'll easily do it. But that's not what he's all about. The regular season is a marathon, he knows how to pace himself. That's the reason why he doesn't sit too many games out. Relax, Bron got you. |
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by steady986(m): 7:25am On Mar 07, 2020 |
Roland17: Giannis also needs to show up. He had a great 1st Q and that was it until late in the 4th. Credit to Vogel and his coaching crew, they have contained him largely, forcing him to play outside the paint which he settled for by taking low percentage shots. He looks aggressive in the 4th like he was in the 1st and that is what he has to do for 4 quarters especially against fellow contenders. What, you expected him to be aggressive for 4 quarters? |

It's funny how analysts say stuff like "LeBron is the best passer of the basketball I have ever seen", and "LeBron is the best driver to the basket in the history of basketball", and "LeBron has the best basketball IQ ever", and "LeBron knows how to control the pace of the game more than any other". But out of hate or pride, none of them is willing to say LeBron is the best player ever." Why? Because he doesn't have as many titles and as many MVPs as Jordan. Jokers |

It could have gone either way but the Lakers had enjoyed the easiest run of games in December before playing the Warriors when he went down.
Do you want me to list the teams the Lakers played in December? Sweetheart, you forgot to mention that the Lakers were 2.5 games away from the top seed
