My wife got conditional admission to their london campus and all tuition paid but they insist to bring letter that the language of instruction was English now ASUU on strike in big dilemma now as full tuition has been paid by her.
I'm open to suggestions here as well

This is very common in US. Immigrants not eligible to work uses someone else's details to work, salary is paid to the details of the person being used and they settle each other afterwards.

But she was a student with a work permit?

maybe its because i'm coming from a field where i don't need to up my game, regardless i have see many Nigerian who moved to next level from those jobs. if they can do it, anyone can. If you have opportunity to japa vs current good life in Nigeria. Still japa and hope for the best. You can always return to Nigeria when you have you passport, it sorts out future medical expenses and guarantees a future for the kids.

According to data, uk is the 5th global economy in the world coming after US topping the list followed by China, Japan, Germany then UK. I guess that speaks volumes as regards earnings just maybe.

Lol, alot of people think money grows like grass when they eventually get to a working system like the uk and co, as things take a little time to actualize. One thing people need to understand is the fact that, thought process, plans and positive determination need to be put in check, there and then is the only way to achieve more. Getting entitled after after understanding the realities of things in the uk is a BiG FAT NO! my country man.

In Line with the new directives from Gov.Uk, standard visa processing time would take longer than 6weeks, while you are at it, do not buy tickets for your flight till a decision has been made about your application

Because my final bus stop is Canada .. so I would love to go through the uk route since it’s easy to get a uk study visa .. would I need to come back to Nigeria after my studies to apply for Canada visa or I can do that from the uk ? Well in as much as yon have plans as regards that, I will say you do a deep research and plan towards it. Everyone here has one plan or the other as regards immigration.

I have gotten an offer letter from University of Sussex for Masters, but I want to get a new passport before starting the process, which I might not get until end of April. Resumption is September 19. I hope starting the visa application process in May/June isn't too late?

They didn't, some one here also used a statement of result for university of West Scotland aswell.

A. Transcript is super important. You need it
B. Please go to gov.uk and see the breakdown. Usually is your tuition balance after deposit, living expenses for 9months.use oanda rate (Google that) and add some jara ontop for currency fluctuations
C. For such a recent graduate theres no study gap that requires employment letter etc
D. Once she applies for admissions to various schools you can do your wedding as you please before the visa application. Lets say a month before the application is ok but be prepared to show proof that its a genuine marriage
E she should research based on her preference and interests

Some schools accepts just certificate or a statement of result, don't be limited. Got an admission with Portsmouth last year with just my statement of result so u could try some universities out. @Oluwasegun664's

May God's name be praised. I picked up my passport today at VI TLS.

Applied to 4 schools and got offers from them: Coventry, London Metropolitan University (offers in 2 courses), Middlesex University and Glasgow Caledonian University. Paid deposit to Middlesex as I got their offer 3 days after applying (October 7). I did 3 pre-CAS interviews and I was proud of my performance but was denied CAS because of my study gap (7 years). Applied for refund of 4500 pounds deposit (got refunded just last week since December).

Had to find a way of paying 3000 deposit for London Metropolitan University and applied for CAS in December. Got my CAS, January 6. No interviews. They are probably the fastest with CAS once you get your documents ready. You can get CAS in 3 days once they verified your payment.

Visa Application Jan 10th
Biometrics VI TLS Jan 18th
Paid mail February 7th Decision made
Collection mail February 7th
Passport collection February 8th
Documents submitted- Degree Certificate, Transcript, IELTS, POF, CAS, TB Certificate, Introduction letter, no NSF despite 7 years of study gap.

Went through a whole lot during this period. Already gave up hope as my school gave me 14th February as latest day for me to be the UK and they already advised me to defer till September but the good Lord came through for me.

What kept me going during it all was someone's testimony on Part 7 when she said her bible verse for prayer was Ephesians 3 vs 20. Since that day in early January, I wake up every night to pray and use the verse as point of contact with God. He answered my prayers.

I'll be in London this week as God lives and I am not sure I'll be able to hold my tears at Heathrow when I get to hug my eldest brother for the first time since 2002 when he left Nigeria. Man Sponsored everything.

I am crying as I'm typing this. I've gone through a lot.

May the good Lord grant favour to each and everyone of you still waiting on him as regards visa application, he will surely do it. You only need to believe.
