iboboyswag: So, I said I was going to update the group on how it goes irrespective of the outcome.
As advised by a few people here, we wrote to the home office requesting for an exceptional assurance. We followed the approach suggested by tobexin and Contra5 and thank God, we have just received a notification granting our request.
We were given an extra 3 months until February 2022. This should be enough.
I want to say a big thank you to everyone who took out time to respond with a possible solution.
Justwise, quite unlike what I had expected, your words were soothing and encouraging. Thank you very much.
Tobexin, the fire in your words were just all that I needed to gain some confidence in the approach. Like I said, I had been advised to go the route, but I wasn't confident in the outcome. Thank you plenty for taking it up like it was your trouble.
Contra5, you made it all make sense. It went just as you had commented. Your insight was the key that broke the lock. I really appreciate you. Thank you.
Lagosismyhome, Ma'am graceful as ever. I admire your online personality and can only imagine how wonderful you must be offline.
Dupyshoo, thank you for coming through. I appreciate.
Theguyfromhr, although I couldn't lawyer up, your interest was timely. Thank you.
Now, there were others who had absolutely no solution to offer, rather than keep shut and just pass, they chose to pass scathing remarks, and conjure wild insinuations.
While the remarks are confined to the gutters where they rightfully belong, it is the insinuations that are disturbing. Because, I can't imagine how a supposed educated adult can come up with "supposed factual statements" on issues they barely have the facts about.
I assume that the right approach would be to ask questions. But no! You chose instead to bask in your self-absorbed nature of sanctimony. Now, that's a problem we have on here. People are often quick to pass negative judgements on what they do not completely understand and by that, tilt the conversation or scare others who may have challenges that requires helpful inputs.
It is all shades of wrong. Yes, I concede no one owes anyone a comment but then I expect that adults would comport themselves as adults.
To you who may have a challenge but are to scared to speak up because of these ones, ignore them. These ones claim to know it all and are quick to state their thoughts no matter how wrong or how stupid it may sound. Ignore them.
congrats man |

Princedapace: The problem with most of you Nigerians is that u just want jobs. Guy, if u live in a stable country with electricity, good roads, security, go and create a job. All you Nigerians are looking for where to pick a job. Go and create a job pls and stop stressing any country.. This is why I will always prefer a stable african economy to any developed worlds. I create jobs and not seek for job. Seeking for jobs mounts pressure on any country.. Creating jobs help. The only reason I don't like Nigeria is her instability. Aside that, there are stuff to create and move. The black man is kinda struggling because he can't create. Every time na jobs una dey look for. And worse part is that majority of these people always disturbing us with "is there job there?" don't even have any competent skill or profession. They are people with almost zero value to add to any society. That is why Chinese go to where u guys can't go. Because the Chinese aren't always looking for jobs. They are looking for where to invest. The average black person is mentally weak that is why he can't create. Always looking for who Wil give him something. I have pulled over 35k dollars under 3 years from scratch after I learnt animation. Adding software development to it and target pulling over 30k under a year from next year. I provide web of tech services and build solutions for africa markets and the world. I think creation and not being a liability to countries. Make una rethink as Nigerians.
I am touring Accra now and I'm impressed..
With constant electricity and relative peace in this city, it is attractive for anyone who thinks creation and solutions. That is why many foreigners are trooping to create buisness.
Nigerians must be taught how to create and solve problems. I'm a Nigerian and I have decided to create and solve problems.. And I'm considering leaving Nigeria because of the security tension here. I'm only considering stable african cities..
All I need is stable electricity, water, good roads, security, I'm okay. can u guide on how to get jobs and nake income with an animation skill?? i know someone who needs this kindly. |

Matrix414: Good evening gurus in the house, please I'm planning towards September 2022 intake at Stirling University, however my passport expires feb 2023, I learnt my passport should have 6 months validity. How soon do you think I should start processing my visa so as stay within the validity period? Or is it advisable I should just renew the existing one considering the Nigeria factor?
Please I need your help opinion i doubt if the 6 months is applicable .. u can use still . |

Zailey: In my humble opinion, I suggest you submit your application ASAP. Some schools delay especially when deadlines are approaching. September intake is usually one of the busiest periods. Also put into account the timeframe to request for CAS, 28 days for POF etc. There are people who already have their admission. So I don't think it's too early. Totally agree. |
