Hi,am new here.pls I need your advice I applied via paper route May10 did an upfront medicals. I got a call from the embassy June 24 asking me why I want to study in Canada,why I want to study Business Administration in short it was more like a phone interview till date I have not heard anything from the embassy and my school is resuming Sept6. Am really getting worried

I have not heard of CIC calling the applicant..

But then again, I feel.. They didn't understand ur SOP or dey suspect u didn't write it ur self.. Hope u didn't contradict urself during the fone interview

CIC just welcome my morning with my approval mail waiting on my CIC account. My dear you will not be denial again, I was denied last year for insufficient funds but i requested my Gcms file and found out the problems with my financial statement, very easy, i work on it and did not change any other document, then i was approved. wishing you Good luck in your next application and stay focus.

Good evening everyone, pls oooo I tried linking my application on the cic account, but was having difficulties... it kept asking for my application number. What does that mean? I submitted through the paper route. Pls kindly help.
Secondly, hope linking my application doesn't affect my application, because my application would be 10weeks by Wednesday without any medical call and school resume by August. Pls I need help urgently cos am tensed right now

The Application number is the one that starts with an "S" followed by other numbers..

U will get those numbers when u are called for medicals..

Meehn, I'm thinking of going to Canadian high commission on Monday since I can't go to Ghana cos they have my passport and Vfs according to them can't do anything. Please, what do you guys suggest?

I don't know about now.. But u can travel with out a passport.. U will be paying almost 5k equivalent in every border..

I am not sure what happens now oo.. Pls confirm b4 u embark on the journey..

But my question is.. Will they attend to you? Since u are not on appointment.. Abi how do u intend to walking in there?

Yea, I was given the same form which i used in mailing them since on the 24th June, I linked my application on the 29th July to still see my medical is required on my application. That's my confusion.

Then why do they update other peoples application within 3 days..
Why is it the people at CIC can't be trusted..

Are they trying to say the first come first served basis never reach ur side uptill now?

I got the acknowledgement message from them.. D same minute I sent it..

Am I going to get another mail saying "treated" or I won't get any mail at all? Bcuz by Tuesday.. It will be 2 weeks.

Should I send another mail by Tuesday or Wednesday with my completed upfront again?

Promotion letters
Confirmation of employment letter

6 mnths Statement of acct - #3.7m
Fixed deposit investment certificates - #10.0m (both past and present certificates to show that the fund has been there for over 6 months)
Marriage cert.
Letter of consent from spouse
Spouse statement of acct. - #900k
Birth certificates of my two kids
BSc Cert.
Transcript
NYSC cert
Acceptance letter from UNB (Unconditional) MBA program
Duly completed Form A stamped and confirmed to be processed by my bank(CAD$16k) - though this was not processed by the bank eventually due to Fx constraints.
Evidence of Initial tuition deposit of CAD$1000
Evidence of Residence fee deposit CAD$500
Cover Letter from the Immigration lawyer

A friend of mine received the attached pix(letter) from CIC yesterday. They told him the bank statement(his sister) he provided was fraudulent. He was given 7days to explain or his application will be assessed based on the documents he submitted, which is likely to be refused..

HOW CAN HE TACKLE THIS COS HE SAID HIS SISTER TOLD HIM THE ACCOUNT IS GENUINE

Wow... Dis is serious oo..

But for them to write him.. He has good points that could have earned him a study permit..
