You can combine different NOCs to get to 3 years. Only one of the NOCs/Job needs to be continuous for one year.
In your case, you have enough for 3 years.

isaacola57:
I only have one year in my noc draftsman the remaining two is from teaching technical drawing, software development and nysc teaching can it be seen as 3 years

Uchboggy:
Guys please has anyone successfully used experience in fractions for EE ? Like for a 3 years work experience but you worked in two firms ,same noc for 2years 4months and then 8months in the other or 2years 6months in one and 6 months in another

The bolded made me laugh grin grin grin You are such a good narrator.
I thank God for your journey, it was a roller coaster but worth it in the end! I am so excited for you and wish you all the best in Canada.

PS: That thief needs serious flogging. Thank God things got sorted out eventually.

G4lady:

I have lived outside Nigeria before but the urge to relocate was never there until I started having kids then the urge came so hard upon me. My children must be better than me and foundation is key. Hubby never wanted to relocate, he was always bothered about starting again from the scratch. I just could not understand it “No bi scratch we dey for Naija?” lol and to think that both of us had foreign Msc, I was 32 at the time and we both are qualified Accountants (ACA) although that did not add any point to us, it will be so painful to let this pass us by, what will I tell my children? So, I kept praying until God used a friend of his to convince him after much talk, he agreed in April 2018, so immediately I started our ECA with WES.

IELTS
Meanwhile I had enrolled for classes in April 2018 because that was when I had time so when the lectures ended in June I told the organizer that when am ready to write he will help me register (something I could have done on my own, I just thought since he tutored me, he could as well just help me register I didn’t see anything bad or lazy about it), fast forward to Oct 5th when hubby’s ECA came out I sent the Man 150,000 to register for us, Na so the money enter voicemail ooo. In short, no bi small thing, to cut a very long story short I was able to pick him up in January 2019 after many failed attempt of trying to catch him in his office. We locked him up and was able to retrieve 130k, the rest is history I just decided to let him go. He told me the charge was 150k but was going to register us under IDP which was 68k at the time, I later got to know this from him. During the period the guy disappeared I could not believe it because I expected better, so I just stopped reading, everything was paused.

I suggest you practice more often, until you are consistently getting higher scores.
Please do not pause the video if you miss what was said, guess the answer and move on.
The more you practice, the more you start seeing the pattern in how the questions are asked. You should keep going until 37 becomes your lowest score.

AuntyKoko:
Thanks. I've checked it. Looks like it will be helpful. I usually score between 33 and 37. I get higher scores when there are fewer mcq questions. I guess I'll just have to up my game in that section. Thanks again.

Travel / Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 9 by Stencil: 9:41pm On Oct 27, 2019
@Luceecarter I'm not sure why you deleted the question but FOREIGN work experience during University does count towards Express entry.

Read this:
Foreign work experience completed while studying is also eligible work experience for the purpose of the Federal Skilled Worker Program and Federal Skilled Trades Program.
The restriction that work experience must not coincide with full-time studies is only relevant to the Canadian Experience Class Program and the points awarded for Canadian work experience under Express Entry’s CRS.

471 is a great score. Tell her to enter the pool and get a reference letter from her previous employer.
Make sure the letter follows the guidelines listed here

A letter from the employer(s) offering the job in Canada is required, and it must
Be printed on company letterhead
Include the applicant’s name
The company’s contact information (address, telephone number and email address)
The name, title and signature of the applicant’s proposed immediate supervisor or personnel officer
AND
Include the following details: expected start date, commitment that the applicant will be employed on a continuous, paid, full-time work, for work that is for at least one year after issuance of a permanent resident visa, job title, duties and responsibilities, current job status (if current job), number of work hours per week and annual salary plus benefits.

Opsy29:
Hello house, I have a friend who wants to go through express entry. She has three years work experience but she left her job 2 years ago to start her own business. Her Crs score is 471. For her application does she have to provide the documents for a self employed applicant as she can easily get reference letter for her previous work experience.

Enter the pool (if you haven't already) as you only need the soft copy. Then deal with ICES on the side.
Worse case scenario, if you really need a hard copy for whatever reason, you can pay for them to resend with a tracking number.

Jbankole2018:
House please my wife evaluate her credentials via ICES and the result is completed and sent through regular postal mail but we haven't receive the result for more 8 weeks now. We mailed ICES they claimed the result was lost in transit because regular postal mail was not trackable. House my question is "what is regular postal mail" because we used our house and office address of my wife.

Good morning all,
Does it matter if my degree is different from my work experience? I’ve found the NOC for my work experience, but I’m wondering if it won’t affect negatively that my experience and degree are from different areas?

How old are you? Spouse too.
Does your spouse have a degree(s).
How many years have you worked? You get max points for 3 years.
You are getting points for two or more degrees so thats good.
Simulate your score here. Using 8777 (LRWS) for IELTS.
Check this out. It is a summary of the process.

Please also take out time to read page 1, it would help you ask specific questions. All the best!

Good day, kudos to everyone on this platform for wonderful info people are giving out. i am interested to work and live in canada, i had 3 kids. i dont the angle where I can start from. in short I hold HND in mechanical engineering and PGD in energy management(in view). am aware of express entry for skilled workers, but i don't know which one I can start with between PNP and FSWP where i can present my profile for provincial nomination.

full-time : 30 hours/week for 12 months = 1 year full time (1,560 hours)
equal amount in part-time: 15 hours/week for 24 months = 1 year full time (1,560 hours)

I would suggest not using the word "part time" when you get your reference letter. Tell them to only put the correct number of hours you worked. Having full time hours and using the word part time might confuse the Agent/Officer. You don't want anything delaying your application.

olufemikayode:
Good Morning House,

I worked as a Locum Doctor (Part time) for about 32 hours a week, then after 6 weeks, I got a full time job in another hospital where I work for about 48 hours per week. Please can I combine both my part time and full time hour to make up one year work experience, bearing in mind that the combination of full time and part time add up to one year i.e. 12 Months.

Thanks

2. If you simulated your score with spouse accompanying with you as the PA and you came up with a higher CRS, then you need to be the PA.
I don't know what you mean by "better certifications" though. Maybe you should post both profiles (age, degree, years of experience) so we could help you make an informed decision.

3. This is subjective. People choose provinces for different reasons. You have to figure what is important to you and find a province that would satisfy that need.

lastbornop:

2. Please i need advise, after stimulating CRS I discovered I score higher than hubby due to age difference (31 n 38). I know it's logical for me to be the PA but he has better certifications and years of experience than I do. Kindly advise on this Pls.

3. Also I will like to know best province in terms of job availability, affordability, better climatic condition tongue grin wink...
