Your VO is in Canada, the ones that show up are outside canada.

Montreal does not have a direct contact, raising webforms/phone calls is the best way to reach them.

It's a good thing that you ordered GCMS notes, however, please don't be alarmed if you see "review required" on eligibility. For some strange reason, almost all applications that go to Montreal have review required.

You'd still get PPR. I wish you all the best

-Ex Montrealer smiley

intrinsicniyi:

I ordered GCMS yesterday - no time to waste anymore cheesy. Hopefully, the feedback from GCMS will bring more clarity into understanding the delay.
My VO is actually Montreal but whenever I try to send a webform, Montreal VO doesn't pop up in the dropdown. I only see Accra, Lagos etc.

Scores are locked Post AOR.
If you get married after you submit your application, your scores are not affected.
There are several posts on this topic including tweets from IRCC confirming this.
The only downside for those applying from Nigeria is that your application might move to Accra visa office, and they're notorious for unnecessary delays.

Blehseen:

Wow, I didn't know of this method. I was looking to apply then sponsor my spouse (soon to be married) when I get PR, mainly because I'm below 30, I have a masters and I had lots of time on my hands to study for IELTS.
We both agreed to this method and he is the one financing the whole process since he tried ielts and his results wasn't too good.

I decided to read up online following this information you posted and saw you can include your spouse after AOR and it wouldn't affect your score. Does that mean I have to wait till after the AOR before we get married to avoid any discrepancy? Please enlighten me on the appropriate path to follow.

My simulated score with my ielts is 478 adding him with his band score of 6 in ielts is really dropping the score and oga has given up on ielts.

Thanks in anticipation for your knowledgeable response guys.

What are the challenges ACCRA poses as regards to this method?

Apply as single, lock your scores
Get married, add your spouse
Scores remain the same since you got married after ITA.
Final and most important step: Pray against Accra, or get involved in something (school, new business venture etc) that even if you land in Accra, it won't affect you that much.

Voice234:
Hello gurus in the house, My crs score alone is 478 and I am about to get married. Is it advised to apply alone then when I receive ITA to include my spouse?

Hi Guys!

I've just glanced through and seen what looks like a debate regarding claiming work experience points whilst studying. I haven't read all the details but I just wanted to let you know that YES YOU CAN.

I did it myself and countless others have done it successfully too. You can do this as long as it was outside Canada.

Please CLICK HERE to read more about this.

ps: When you do research, please make sure you're reading about FSW and not CEC.

Sibling points can be claimed immediately.

ainatutu:
Guys, please I have a question. After landing as a PR, how soon can points be claimed from having a sibling in Canada?
Travel / Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 9 by Stencil: 5:48pm On May 17, 2020
When creating your profile, you enter the work experience you're claiming points for.
Post ITA, you get a chance to enter your 10 year history.

tojumi18:
Hello house, do I need to state all my work experience when filling my EE account or just the relevant 3 years experience. I have 8 years experience and have worked I 4 different places, do I state the recent two which gives me 3 years experience.
Travel / Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 9 by Stencil: 1:55am On May 15, 2020
When creating your profile you fill "none or less than secondary school"
Post ITA - you get a chance fill in his details in his 10 year history.

Pweetytomi:
Good morning everyone. I need help with filling my EE profile. I'm the PA and I don't intend claiming education point for my spouse. Am I to fill the spaces for spouse education history (date of degree completion, duration, institution name, etc) or I should leave it blank.
Also under the category for degree, am I to choose 'none or less than secondary school'?
That is, I'm a bit confused if I'm to fill the education details but then choose 'none/less than secondary school' under degree category or just ignore

Ghost update just means your file is actively being worked on. It is usually good news so congratulations!

I don't know if this would work for AVO but If you want an accurate answer on what stage you're at, raise a webform on here and ask them specifically about - Eligibility, Security and Criminality.
GCMS notes is another option.

DottaofGod:
Pls guys, recently i caught the ghost on my profile that changes my background check from " we are processing" to "application in progress."

My background check has been on "we are processing" since the inception of my application(AOR- Aug 2019; VO - AVO)

Pls who can explain to me.
Thank you.

You can use that work experience to apply.
There is a cash certificate on page one you can also use
I used some of my work experience during school as well and I have PPR
Make sure his company is registered and has some sort of presence online (if possible)
Your bank statements would show salary deposits I believe.
Since it is a family company, they might dig deeper than usual to make sure you really worked there, so do everything you can to solidify your case.

I wish you all the best! Goodluck!

FULL TIME = 30 hours/week
PART TIME = 15 hours/week

SOURCE

Guys it's okay not to answer questions you're unsure of. It is far better that a person doesn't get an answer at all than gets the wrong answer.

Bumdesh:

Hi, you can claim it if you can provide a reference letter stating your roles and the hours you work in the company every week. Part time hours is minimum of 30 hours a week.

1. Yes. Yes.
2. No

Theta1:
Good day everyone. Thanks to everyone that have been helping and answering question on this thread.
1. I have B.Sc and PGD, is that 2 certificates? If Yes, will I send PGD to WES or both transcript?
2. I have my mum junior brother at Canada, can I claim point from that?
Travel / Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 9 by Stencil: 8:24am On May 10, 2020
It is not necessary. Name change is a choice not the law.

BecaciaBarbie:
I’m the PA, do I need to change my surname on my international passport to my husband’s surname or not necessary?

Did you simulate your scores with IELTS (LRWS - 8777) ?
I don't see how you don't qualify, except you choose "No" when asked if you've taken the IELTS exam.
Please try again with those scores
Goodluck!

hybeenoni:
Hi everyone, and kudos to your response to various questions here.
I presently school in the US(MS Maths) and looking at moving to Canada, age is against me though, 33 already and single.
Tried CSR Calculator and was told I am not eligible presently.
What would you advise? Since I'm graduating next year, should I go through school? Thinking of a different MS program or is there something I'm don't get about the Skilled entry route?

Been on 468, and since CRS scores have not dropped to this range since October, decided to give it another try. Now I have LRWS- 8,9,7.5,7.5. Now on 471. Look forward to the next draw

You can do it in any order you want. People do their evaluation first because it takes time. They use that time to prepare for IELTS.
However you want to do it is up to you.

Hello house. Please I'm new here and I will appreciate your support. I want to know if I can write IELTS before proceeding for WES.

I don't need a gift deed.

LegalTc1:

For the deed of gift, it is a legal documentary way of evidencing that a person has given you money, freely, voluntarily, for you to use as you wish and without any reversionary interest(does not expect it back).

I am a lawyer and any lawyer can draft a proper deed of gift for you.

This has been answered several times. You can combine NOCs to get your 3 years (max points)
One of the NOCs should be continuous for one year, the rest can be in different durations (months even).
Just make sure it is in either NOC A,B,0 and a paid job.

okilala:
Good day all, please I have 2 years experience in two different nocs each. I don't know if I can combine these to claim 4years of experience or it has to be 3 years in a Noc To get maximum point. Please I need urgent answers. God bless

Look on bright side, at least you have a CRS score worthy of ITA. Many on here are just holding on to a string of hope.
Congratulations in advance smiley

shegs637:
Wednesday's skipped draw really hit me in the chest embarassed. ECA came in on the 6th (after 4 months) and I dove into the pool on the 7th. All supporting docs were already merged and waiting to be uploaded. Walahi I was so excited, I don't think I slept properly in the week leading up to the expected draw. I just went through the motions at work on Thursday and Friday (good thing we're writing exams... There's nothing worse than a dejected Maths teacher!). I just kept thinking "If COVID-19 leads to a change in EE, shey CRS of 481 go just waste niyen??"
I'm better today sha. My fellow Canadians-in-diaspora, let's stay strong and hope for the best. It will end in praise.

Guccigucci:

1- regarding the NOC letter from your work place is it compulsory i put my oga /general managers details on it or i can get my supervisors details/signature (im not in good terms with my general manager )

If you report to your supervisor, you can use their details.

2. Can i upload the downloaded soft copy of my WES report post ITA because my friend i had the hard copy mailed to in canada had moved out before the package was delivered thanks

There is absolutely no need for hard copy when applying for EE, why wait for a hard copy only to scan it again. The soft copy is all you need.

It counts.

Nenyezz:
what about during bsc?
Travel / Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 9 by Stencil: 5:53am On Feb 26, 2020
You can if you want to. I feel It is not necessary as they can see that you worked and schooled at the same time from your timeline.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with schooling and working at the same time if that's what you're wondering.

Jay35:
Did you have to explain it in your LOE about working full time and schooling full time?
Travel / Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 9 by Stencil: 7:25pm On Feb 25, 2020
If you use the CRS tool, you'd see that you get more points for masters. Evaluating both would not be useful to you for EE.
Francieuche:
Please should I evaluate both masters and bsc degree ? Or evaluate only masters
Travel / Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 9 by Stencil: 7:22pm On Feb 25, 2020
I probably hold the record for the amount of changes made on a profile. I got PPR (still excited!).
You will be fine. You broke no laws. Change is allowed.

obym321:
PLEASE SOMEBODY THAT HAS AN IDEA SHOULD HELP ME.
Are changes made to EE profile before ITA saved ? Eg changes in NOC and employment duration. I changed my NOC and job duration in my EE profile and I received ITA last week. Just scared if the VO will see the changes so that I can explain the reason for the change in my LOE.
TIA
