Quick tip as several people have made this mistake.. When you get to this question : Was more than half the study program English or French as a second language courses? Answer NO, you won't get points if you answer Yes. Good luck QueenJoeffrey: 4 Likes 1 Share |

Here is what CIC says about Proof of employment letters. Read more here. The following documents are mandatory for each work experience declared: A reference or experience letter from the employer, which ◘ should be an official document printed on company letterhead (must include the applicant’s name, the company’s contact information [address, telephone number and email address], and the name, title and signature of the immediate supervisor or personnel officer at the company), ◘ should indicate all positions held while employed at the company and must include the following details: job title, duties and responsibilities, job status (if current job), dates worked for the company, number of work hours per week and annual salary plus benefits; and if the applicant is self-employed, articles of incorporation or other evidence of business ownership, evidence of self-employment income and documentation from third-party individuals indicating the service provided along with payment details (self-declared main duties or affidavits are not acceptable proof of self-employed work experience). Use this to calculate your score manually. It will help you see each allocated point and possibly help you determine what you're missing. This will also help anyone looking to see how many points they'd gain in different scenarios. Eg: With or without spouse ayandee: 1 Like 1 Share |

I would say don't worry about that now, if they need you fill one, they will send an ADR. There are people who proactively submitted one with their application and still got an ADR for the same thing. Msidiodi: 1 Like |

This is subjective. It depends on the field of work. Look for jobs in your field and see what the qualifications are. In the requirements section you’d see a list of things you should have to submit an application. Indeed.ca and LinkedIn are good places to start. Triplezero50: |

Unfortunately you’d have to wait if you want to claim 3 years of work experience. The evaluation process takes a while and you might clock 3 years during the wait. Your ECA has to be done before you get into the pool anyway. If 3 years is only 2 months away, I think it is worth the wait to get those extra points. chibabe25: 3 Likes |

Calling CIC - Steps 1- CIC call centre +1 613 944 4000 2- English press 1 3- immigration press 1 4- transfer to citizenship and immigration processing application press 1 5- status or processing times press 1 6- become permanent resident press 2 7- application starts with E press 2 8- then enter application number (without the letter E) followed by # 9- listen to the entered number and press 1 to confirm 10- enter the year of birth and then listen the entered number and press 1 to confirm 11- hear the details 12- then press 1 to check status (there will be a pause) 13- hear detailed status at the end press 0 to speak to agent Use Skype or Google hangouts or any international number service You might get a prompt that your call would be disconnected, just stay on the line. If you somehow get disconnected, call back and start again. It helps to ask specific questions otherwise you’d get generic answers. “Eligibility, Security and Criminality” ask about these. Please check this link for more information about Proof of Funds. Everything you need to know is on there. CIC never requested Bank statements, people just include it, most times to answer questions before they are asked. The Letter from the bank is very important. Many have got PPR without bank statements, however, I suggest including it to help you sleep better at night. amoskitto: 9 Likes 4 Shares |

The bank stating your balance per month should still not matter. Most people don't have the entire proof of funds sitting in their account (including the Officer(s) that would look at your case). That is why there is an option to be gifted the money. code7x: 7 Likes |
