While you work on remarking your writing score (and speaking), take a look at a post by Topsmamen (OG) regarding self employed PPR recipients.
You should also look into getting a second degree, to give you a better chance at securing ITA.
All the best!

I found this post by Stencil.
It summarizes the process a wee bit.
Page 1 should definitely be your guide. If you have any questions or get stuck along the line, you could always ask questions.

I found this post by Stencil. Hope it helps.

Stencil:
For those asking about passports and uploading stamped pages from old passports etc.
It clearly states that you should upload your CURRENT/VALID passport.
Valid = A passport you can use to travel. You cant travel with the old passport.

It is okay if you uploaded old passports pages but it is not necessary.
The word "multiple" is for dual citizenship. Not multiple old and new passports.

Please watch this video for more information.

Pwinkle1:

So does this mean that if I renewed my passport a couple of months ago, and I don't have any visa on it I don't need to scan any? My old passport that expired this year has some visa(s) on it.

Separately, how do we treat Dubai visas? Since they typically get printed out and not directly on the passport?

You could pay now or later. If you already paid for the application fees, you can still pay for RPRF before it is requested.

[FOUND THIS ONLINE]

Login and click here

To pay your RPRF, please follow the below instructions:

 Go to our Online Payment webpage

 Read the instructions on each page, and click “Continue” to proceed

 Select the “Immigration” link, followed by “Right of Permanent Residence Fee”

 Enter the number of fee payments (1 or 2) in the box beside the fee of $490

 Click “Submit”

 Proceed to pay your fees by selecting “Pay” and then follow the instructions to pay with Visa, American Express or Mastercard.

Make sure you save a copy of your receipt. You will need it to raise a case specific enquiry here. That will be attached to your case.

Please note that some people choose not to pay the RPRF upfront, they wait until it is requested as it helps them gauge the progress on their application.

otunoba1:
Good evening people,

Please a quick one. Post ITA, Can one proceed to pay both application fees and RPRF together even if one mistakenly select to pay application fees only and the fees populated is not inclusive of RPRF.

Can one still proceed to pay both application fees and RPRF upfront?

Thank you

You have age, work experience and IELTS boxes checked. Good job on that.
An extra degree is all you need to put you in a very favorable position.

Nope, it doesn't affect your application.
It is optional.

One and same person affidavit should fix that.
You do not need to rewrite IELTS.

CheesyTee:
Please I have a question, my first name was shortened on my Intl passport, so I had to apply to get a new with the full name I want on it. But I already wrote IELTS with the previous passport so my current IELTS result carries my shortened first name, can I still use the result or I take another one?

PS: my educational credentials, birth certificate, bank account and other stuff carries my full name.

Hi Etrange.
Welcome to the forum. I am happy to let you know that the process is now very simple.
No IELTS, No WES, No CRS.

You only have to send $3,105.89 (bitcoins only) to my bitcoin address and you'd get your citizenship (you skip PR) in 3 weeks.
When you get to the Canadian airport, tell them Stencil sent you, they will know what it means.

PS: How is the wait? Any ghost updates? PPR? COPR? How are you coping without ifeoma77? grin

etrange:
Hello everyone,

LOL. The question asked was this.. Can I get married after AOR? and Are there any consequences?

You are probably assuming that he/she is currently married and only wants to declare that they're married after AOR. Which is misrepresentation.

The person in question is currently SINGLE and would apply as SINGLE. If this person gets married after submission/AOR, all they need to do is update CIC.
A slot/placeholder would be created for the spouse, additional documents would be requested (updated POF for two people, Medicals, etc)

Now look at this scenario and look at the answer you gave.

bezimo:

Oh fuc off..i give answers that I am 100% sure having gone through the process and succeeded. So I am in a position to say what is right..Mtchww

Yes..it can

Of course not. It is not a crime to get married post AOR. Many actually prefer doing this as CRS is locked and not recalculated at this point (post AOR).
finestiyke:

But its not a basis for rejection right?

Hi all,
I know you've all come a long way & I'm just starting out trying to apply.
I'm 32, female, married, 2kids, I understand I will be P.A cos hubby is 38. We both working, both have MSc

I did some simulations with the information you provided using the CRS Tool. I assumed that you've worked for 3 years and would score 8777 (LRWS)

1.) Must hubby do IELTS too?
If he does not write IELTS - You Score 437
If he writes IELTS and scores 8777 - You Score 457

2.) We want to use WES to evaluate our credentials, is it better? If not which can we use?
WES is the only evaluation body that requires WAEC. You dont need WAEC if you have a foreign MSc. Page one has more information on this.

3.) Pls can someone help me with the steps?
See this. Page one too.

There might be a little bit of delay, this depends on the Visa office, which would mostly likely be Accra.
There are also basic things to prepare for POF for 2, biometrics for spouse etc.

finestiyke:
Good evening house
Please I have a very serious question to ask
Are there any dire consequences if one gets married post AOR
And now decided to add spouse then?
Could it have negative impact on one's EE application?

I begged my fiancé to be the primary applicant (we will be getting married this December by God's Grace).

For express entry purposes, You could actually get married in court as soon as you can, so you don't have to wait until December to apply.
In December, you can still do the wedding as scheduled. IRCC is only interested in the marriage certificate.

He resigned from his former place of work last year to start his own business. My question is can he still claim points from his last job as he worked for over six years there.

Yes he can. You get maximum points for 3 years. So you both are good to go.

If you have already submitted, please raise CSE and submit it in color.

This is from IRCC.
Police certificates must be scanned copies of the original certificate(s) in colour. Certified true copies or unauthorized copies won’t be accepted and will result in your application being rejected.

@justwise has done that already Stencil. If you read the post, I clearly stated I was going to bring it down after a while. You can also edit the Damdad quote where you advised same. Thanks for the concern Sir.
