CelebritiesToolz Reveals She Is Bleaching, Fans Blast Her by stephenduru(op): 10:04am On Apr 28, 2016
Toolz is currently undergoing a really intense chemical peel just to get a new, baby skin, and this revelation on her Instagram page put her in the line of fire from fans who insist that the process is the same as bleaching.

The OAP started the hyperpigmentation programme three days ago and shared daily development with her fans. In her first post, she shared a photo of herself wearing the face mask she had on for more than 6 hours. Next, she posted a photo of her puffy pink-toned face, and yesterday, she shared the scary photo that led to all the drama.

According to her fans, chemical peel is same as bleaching, but the OAP refuted that claim. “This isn’t a bleaching or skin lightening programme,” Toolz said, adding, “It resurfaces and corrects hyperpigmentation. You can Google it.”

But fans refused this explanation. See how it all went down:

Was she really promoting skin bleaching or simply teaching fans how to fix damaged skin?

FamilyPastor's Wife Sues Him To Court 4 Starving & Denying Her Of Sex(pics) by stephenduru(op): 7:42am On Apr 24, 2016
A woman has dragged her bishop husband to court for denying her s#x which she says has left her with ‘very serious depression.’ Bishop George Kamunya, a Senior Pastor, Bishop and Apostle of Oasis of Grace Churches in Nairobi is being sued for divorce by his wife, Pastor Esther Kamunya.

In a case filed at the Milimani Commercial Court, the wife accuses Bishop Kamunya of cruelty and denying her conjugal rights which resulted in her sinking into "very serious depression, especially when she was in the family way." Bishop Kamunya is also being accused of constantly hurling insults and curses on his estranged wife.

"The respondent in the utmost cruelty to the petitioner, never disclosed to her that he is not a 'man of God' as he confesses or professes to be, a fact that she really considered before accepting to marry the respondent. He basically was not the man the petitioner thought he was," reads Pastor Esther Kamunya's application.

She also alleges that the bishop "during the subsistence of their marriage, has been engaging in extra marital abnormalities, in total disregard to the marriage commitment he made to the petitioner."

She further states in her application that the respondent has since the celebration of the marriage persistently and without disregard to the petitioner, had several extramarital relationships with several other women causing her a lot of physical, psychological, mental and emotional anguish. Esther also accuses the bishop of flirting with other women, and denying that their children, two minor girls are not his.

The Bishop, when contacted by The Nairobian said he can't talk about the child custody matter or impending divorce case since the matter is in court. "I am a man, and I have really suffered in this relationship. I am not one to air my problems to the world, but my brother, I have suffered,"

"I have been staying with my children ever since their mother initiated divorce proceedings. She is the one who left her marital home, and her children. She deserted us. After staying out there for a while, she decided to sue me for upkeep and custody of the children," the bishop said.
.
Bishop Kamunya told The Nairobian that in the course of the divorce proceedings, he has been arrested and spent a night in police cells over malicious allegations his wife reported to the police. "I was even taken to court and charged but the case couldn't proceed because the DPP realized there was nothing to charge me with. I have suffered for so long, and can't start telling the whole world the trials I have gone through. Only the bible has kept me strong."

Check out this epic throwback photo of President Buhari as a tennis star in his youthful days.

Who knew he used to enjoy tennis a lot? Well this photo shows him from the 70’s when he was just an officer in the Nigerian army. Some other people in this photo are now prominent politicians as well.

In this photo is Plateau state governor Jonah Jang (standing 2nd from left) and then Air Force Dr Michael Obafunsho Peters of Lagos State (standing 3rd from right).

The foreigners were mostly civil servants, the other Nigerians are mostly Army and Air Force officers.

Buhari was looking really stylish next to a pretty blonde Caucasian in his white tennis wear and dark sunglasses.

The Federal Ministry of Education has announced that in order to reduce the workload of primary and junior secondary pupils, they will be cutting down subjects from 20 to a maximum of ten subjects under the nine-year basic educational curriculum in order to align with International standards.
To achieve this, the ministry of Education will be partnering with the Nigerian Educational Research and Development Council (NERDC). However, subjects like Christian Religious Studies (CRS) and Islamic Religious Studies (IRS), which are separately taught, will now be merged under a compulsory subject known as Religion and National Values (RNV). Other subjects brought under the RNV include Civic Education, Social Studies, and Security Education.

PoliticsSenate Intervenes On Debts Owed 2 Electricity Generating Companies By FG by stephenduru(op): 9:18am On Apr 17, 2016
PRESS RELEASE

Senate Intervenes on Debts Owed GENCOs by FG

Senate President, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki has mandated the Senate Committee on Power to liaise with the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Federal Ministry of Finance on how to address the debts owed to the Electricity Generating Companies (GENCOs) in the country.

He also directed the Committee to meet with the relevant stakeholders on how to address the problems of transmission and capacity needs of the electricity generating companies as he said that it would amount to a huge problem when electricity is generated but cannot be transmitted.

Saraki who spoke in Abuja when a delegation of Electricity Generating Companies visited him, said that efforts must also be put in place to ensure that adequate gas is made available to the GENCOs to meet the demand by the Electricity Distributing Companies (DISCOs).

According to the Senate President, the objective of the engagement of the Senate Committee on Power with the Central Bank of Nigeria and the Federal Ministry of Finance is to ensure that the debts owed the GENCOs are paid so as to enable the companies meet up with their targets.

He urged the Senate Committee on Power to ensure that the problems of generation and distribution are resolved, stating that it makes no economic sense to generate 10,000 megawatts of electricity, when it cannot be distributed to end users.

Dr. Saraki who called for a quick solution to the problems affecting electricity distribution, urged the Senate Committee to ensure that there is always adequate gas supply to the electricity generating companies, so as to “bring some confidence into the chain of activities in both the generation and distribution of electricity”.

Earlier, the leader of the Electricity Generation Companies, Engr. Mohammed Daudu told Saraki that the GENCOs are owed N213 billion covering the period November 1, 2013 to January 31, 2015, while a second segment of debt is the shortfall during the transition electricity market (TEM) between February 1, 2015 to date, which is yet to be disclosed by the National Bulk Electricity Trader (NBET).

The leader of the delegation said the Federal Government had initiated a settlement of the first segment through the CBN/Nigeria Electricity Stabilization Fund but up till now, less than 40 per cent of the money was released to the GENCOs, lamenting that a member of the electricity generating companies that contributes 35 per cent of the power grid is yet to be paid any money.

He therefore appealed to the Senate President to prevail on the CBN to conclude plans on the payment of the stabilization fund.

Daudu who complained of scarcity of foreign exchange, told the Senate President that the spare parts and other equipment used for the operation of the GENCOs are largely imported, but lamented that there is scarcity of foreign exchange for the transaction.

He complained that the GENCOs are not allowed to include Value Added Tax (VAT) when selling their products to the DISCOs, suggesting that VAT be included in the bulk purchase to cushion the effects on their revenue.

The leader of the GENCOs’ delegation described non-availability of gas as the biggest challenge befalling the electricity generation companies, explaining that if there is additional gas input of 500mmcf to the generating companies there would be increased electricity generation to 10, 000 megawatts from its present capacity of 2,673.4 megawatts of electricity.

PoliticsRivers PDP Invites Transportation Minister, Rotimi Amaechi For Roads Inspection by stephenduru(op): 11:44am On Apr 16, 2016
Impressed with the landmark achievements of Governor Nyesom Wike led-government in Rivers State in less than one year in office especially in Road Infrastructural Development, the State Chairman of the Peoples Democratic party, PDP, Bro Felix Obuah said he is ready and will appreciate a facility tour of these numerous completed and commissioned road projects by the minister of transportation, and former State governor, Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi.

The State PDP Chairman stated this while taking inventory of the achievements of Governor Wike one year after being voted into office in April 2015.

The reconstructed roads he said, include the Abonnema/Obonnema Link road/bridge, Eagle Island/Iloabuchi road/bridge, Abuluoma – Woji Link road/bridge, the Oyigbo Market Road, the Nkpogu – NLNG road/bridge, the reconstruction of Igwuruta – Chokocho Road etc.

According the State PDP boss, over 120 kilometers of these roads have so far been constructed and rehabilitated across the State since May 29, 2015 when Chief Barr. Nyesom Wike took oath of office as the executive governor the State.

The facility visit and, or tour has become necessary not only to show the immediate past government and its functionaries led by Rotimi Amaechi as governor and Dakuku Peterside as his works commissioner how to prudently use scarce resources for maximum output, but also to prove that the popularity and goodwill being enjoyed by the Wike administration is not based on fallacy but concrete achievements, Bro Obuah noted.

The PDP State chairman believes that given the rancour free environment by cynics, distracters and self-seeking politicians, the Wike administration will no doubt raise the bar of democratic dividends beyond measure for Rivers people.

“We are also inviting all stakeholders at home and in the Diaspora for on-the-spot assessment of these roads already completed and commissioned by Governor Wike in the State besides other breakthroughs in the health, housing, judiciary, education, empowerment/poverty alleviation, transport and sports sectors etc, and they will be amazed at what the governor has been able to do with the little resources at his disposal and will regret and agree that the eight years of Amaechi administration in the State despite the huge resources he controlled was a colossal waste”, Bro Obuah declared.

A couple in the Kenyatta University currently stand a good chance of being expelled by school authorities after an immoral act was accidentally exposed in the heat of the exercise.

According to media reports, a s*x hungry male student was said to have pleasurably drilled a 2nd year Kenyatta University lady at Nyayo 4 Hostels occupied by females until she carelessly screamed and drew the attention of nearby students engaging in their private activities.

The students initially mistook her loud moans as a cry for assistance as they rallied round to her rescue only to locate the position the noise was emanating from and sight the student in an awkward lovemaking position with her partner.

Read what an eyewitness said below..

"A second year female student early this morning was shagged today nearly to death by her boyfriend at Nyayo 4 hostel at the Kenyatta University hostels. The school authorities have now tightened the 'ten to ten' (10am to 10pm) rules to protect ladies against such immoral acts"

Rumours have it that both parties are currently facing a disciplinary panel for their actions while an explicit video clip of the duo is making rounds among students.
