I don't know how much they make but unfortunately, there are Nigerian women who thinks collecting child benefits is everything. The funny thing is that the average sum of social funding available doesn't seem like a lot but to them, I guess it is a lot. So your lack of experience doesn't mean they don't exist. A couple of years ago, it was a rumour but now it isn't.

It is your choice to ask around but don't make it sound someone has a grudge against Nigerian women.

So how much do they make? You seem to be well informed 'cause me myself I don't know such people.

Maybe it is because the North was too large and different from other kingdoms.

DP84:
It's a terrible ending! D&grin promised it would be a bitter sweet ending but it turns out to be a confusing one. I'll personally highlight my ideas and points...

1. Dany became the villain and as much as I love her, the cliche of the villain dying had to be respected.
2. Drogon and Jon had no bond whatsoever but how it saw a dagger in Dany's stomach but chose to torch the throne instead beats my imagination. Perhaps it knew all along that Jon is a Targaryen.
3. It was foolish to have allowed Dany alone with Jon. The idea was too predictable. After Tyrion resigned as Hand and knowing Jon is a Targaryen, it was only natural that Jon was kept under heavy watch and not allowed to personally spend time alone with Dany except she states otherwise.
4. Having captured Jon, the Unsullied, in the real sense should have killed him but they stalled for no reason and waited for Lords of Westeros to arrive before Greyworm started huffing and puffing. Lazy writing.
5. Turns out Bran could see the future but he pretended to be an 'archiver' of memories and the past. His words gave him away and almost seemed he influenced the whole Dany madness then made Jon kill her to dim the chances of the latter becoming King.
6. I love the fact that the wheel of rulership is broken. The transition from Dany to Bran with both not capable of birthing is thoughtful and amazing.
7. Samwell Tarly unconsciously introduced democracy but it was laughed at and rebuffed by all.
8. It doesn't make sense that House Stark had more than a representative. The only person fit enough to be at the seat of the Westeros Lord was Sansa. Arya and Bran had no business there save Bran was trying to sell them his sagey Eyes of Horus nonsense but then, he made it known his presence was premeditated. I see him as a villain at this point than anything.
9. The new council seat is a joke. The make up doused the power and the influence of the king greatly.
10. It doesn't make sense that the North seceded and Bran agreed while the other Lords looked on like fools. Worse still is the fact that the king is from the new sovereign state. The North produced the king then backs out as one of the seven kingdoms. Where is that done?
11. The North has Sansa to thank for pushing the secession agenda but it was obvious she was only after power as much as any other power hungry bloke or mare.

Extras
1. Dany was translated to the Biblical Moses; see the Promised Land but never got there... Dany felt the throne but never had the chance to sit on it. Funny!
2. It is strange how Tyrion, as a prisoner dictated to the Lords of Westeros on who should be king and ended up proclaiming Bran before the Lords agreed.
3. With Ser Bronn on the council seat, it was obvious Tyrion would be a shitty hand all over a again. A chance at a clean start and all he did was influence the king to make Bronn Lord of High Garden.
4. Bran would at best been made Master of Whisperers under Dany. That they unanimously agreed to make him king is laughable. All Dany needed was good advisors and she would have been perfect.
5. I still see no reason why Drogon couldn't have torched Jon.

For me... I'd say I prefer the season finale of Into the Badlands to this nonsense!
TV/Movies › Re: Game Of Thrones Discussion (Beware Of Spoilers) by Sterope(f): 7:38am On May 20, 2019
The network was not bothered about more episodes. It was D and D that reassured them that six episodes would be enough for Season 8.

timay:
The thing is that you can't blame the writers of the show though.
The show became too expensive to produce, with the actors being massive stars now, the network couldn't afford them anymore... One million per actor!

So they had to rush it, which makes bad writing and mistakes inevitable.

If the show was extended than usual, the Network, might not meet their expected profit, due to the high cost of the show.

So let's all give them a break, they didn't do a bad job

It does not depend on the mother at all. I know how I was raised. I started cooking early. My brothers can cook almost any meal. They even bake their own birthday cakes however you will not catch any of us cooking every now and then. They still engage in every type of housechores you can think of. A brother who complains most about how cooking takes insane amount of time brought home several pieces of breaded chicken and meat pie he made in his hostel kitchen. You will not catch him cooking on a normal day.

I was not raised on street food either. We made our eko/agidi ourselves and very other thing you can think of. once you understand the important things, you will agree with me that the purpose of food is to survive. No book says you have to prepare that meal especially where there are alternatives. It is a mind thing.

My mum cooks even when she doesn't have to and she complains about being tired ditto the other women I know. They lash out and complain because they are so stressed out and I wonder who sent them to begin with

djon78:
Like I said it depends on the kind of mother that raised you.
They instill it in there girls from tender age
Once they grow up it is part of them

Even me a guy was seriously domesticated from a child
There is no chore a woman can do guy for me
My house everything is squeaky clean
I hate dirty environment or lazy persons

Have you ever tried going to the market, prepare meals and cook before? Have you ever tried cooking three times daily over and over again?

At 15, your kid is preparing for University. He needs all the time to study, he is more independent minded and probably has other interests to engage in.

Money is not the problem. The problem is the time and energy especially when you realise that it is not worth it at the end of the day. Choosing to reduce time spent cooking does not mean she cannot cook with firewood if necessary.

alBHAGDADI:
Money is the root of all evil. Don't be surprised when such couple raise evil children because they didn't have time to teach them at home. How can they teach the kids how to do chores at home when they themselves don't know how?

You lots love to make it seem as if a woman will spend all her life cooking in the kitchen. Cooking might just be for ten years because her kids would have come of age by then and would be able to prepare certain meals. By the time they get to 15, the woman will only be ordering them around while she rests.

Your mother went through this struggle for you but you don't want to do the same for your kids all because you want to chase money. Don't be surprised that the money you make won't save your daughter's marriage when she gets kicked out for lack of manners which you failed to instill in her because you didn't have it.

Yes, it's sometimes tough cooking, so is farming for men. To be sincere, we all would love to just sleep and do no work while our food comes to meet us. We had that chance in Eden but a woman made us lose it. That same devil that deceived her is doing the same today by telling her she can aspire to be whatever she wants over her family's needs.

It's so sad that I live in a generation where women complain openly of cooking. Social media has also given fools the platform to promote their stupidity and more fools are buying into it without analysing the situation appropriately.

The wives that complain and nag all the freaking time about chores or the same wives that wish their husbands will help out?

I have heard enough complaints from these wives to last me a thousand years.

BiafranBushBoy:
No.

Don't respond back. I don't wanna have any chat with your myopic mind!

You can keep lying to yourselves. If your sisters have a choice, they will not cook. They complain and moan about cooking every fucking time. In households with househelps, the women merely adjust for salt and spices.

Also, Folunrusho is not a model because she is rich. She is rich enough to delegate and spending time cooking is her choice.

djon78:
Excuse me
My mum had 5 girls
2 are medical doctors
One was a manager in a telecom company in VI
She relocated to Canada last year with her husband and children
Almost all are married/high carrier women but they cook excellently and run there homes well

You should take it easy

It is all about balancing your priorities. Food is meant survival, every other reason is secondary. If you can afford not to cook, it does not make any sense to force yourself to when you find it difficult.

I would rather sleep and chat all day than to cook. If I needed to cook, I cook. Most times it is not worth standing all day, expending that energy for something you can afford to pay for. I can count the number of times I cooked during NYSC. It was not worth waking an extra 30 minutes to cook or cleaning up when I really don't have to.

Her approach is common sense. Cooking is not worth it to her if she does not have anyone to cater for. Unfortunately, she is a woman, we must leave logic and judge her because God wrote cooking in her DNA

SageMK:
This is a very dumb statement.

Having no one to cater for shouldn't be a stumbling block to prevent anyone from cooking. [It doesn't make sense ]

Besides if she doesn't deem herself worthy enough to cook for her own personal consumption, she will hardly do it for anyone. I doubt the fact if she can even cook.

No wonder she's all alone without anyone to cater for.

Was that why you referred to it as khusimol grin

By more effective, do you mean that if I happen to extract this particular chemical and turn it into a tablet and probably maximise its strength to equals 3 cups of the vetiver tea/powder grin.....that is exactly how conventional medicine work.

I don't have anything against alternative medicine. Alternative or Conventional, I am cautious of both grin. Yes, alternative medicine can be very toxic with lots of side effects. Conventional medicine is alternative medicine but more controlled and more convenient. What I do not appreciate about modern alternative medicine is the false claims. Seriously, this new trend is disheartening.

Vetiver. I won't be surprised if it contains one of the chemical ingredient in conventional medicine.

I am glad you are not talking about curing autism.

Yes i have. You see, herbs are not the only thing used during the treatment of autism. There is also need for integrative therapy while making use of the herbs.

One of the several herbs used during treatment is Vetiver and its absolutely amazing.

Suffice to say that autistic patients do turn out much better.

HIV is different from Aids. HIV is not fatal although cannot be cured but it can be reduced to its bare minimum and be prevented from becoming Aids. A HIV carrier can live many years like a normal person with little issues if at all any. Also, the way it affects individuals differ.

He cannot become whole with just fruits unless he was not infected at all even with unprotected sex.

MTV Shuga is a great show to watch on awareness about HIV/AIDS

ChristianNorth:
Never ruled out options in your life. I know a family that was infected with HIV which took the lives of the new born child and the mother, but the father survived.

The wife resigned to fate and traveled to her family house while the husband seek alternative medical solution.

Just fruits and he became whole.

It is either it wasn't Syncope or it is the type that can be controlled. Cancer can be curable. It depends on the stage. It can also reoccur again.

Your type 1 diabetes patients are experiencing honeymoon phase. It doesn't mean they are completely free of diabetes. I hope they won't come back for your head later on.

I don't have any issues with alternative medicine, it is even a family thing. My problem is with those who claim to cure fatal incurable diseases.

IvyGRush:
Doctors Positions on several chronic ailments has done more harm than good. Several of these Chronic Diseases are treatable with Alternative/Herbal Medication.

I would give you examples and at the same time challenge you.

Example: I have successfully administered herbal medicine for a curative treatment of Syncope. It's almost like the above mentioned in terms of causative agent but am still carrying out the research since I just saw this one. With more information about the above, I believe we can successful adjust the Medication to also treat the above.

Type 1 Diabetes is an Auto Immune System Disease but we also succeeded in free people from it and a lot reduced their BSL from 22 to 3-4.5 within 15Days.

Prostate Cancer is Curabe within 15 Days and all other forms of Cancer are also curable, with each having their different times for healing depending on patients initial health and compliance with Rules of Alternative Medicine.

So Dear Sterope, please do not conclude that the Doctors Pronouncement is final because he had studied medicine for 6-8years and had practiced for 15years, alot of people had moved on in life after being handed such Pronouncement. So please stay positive.

Then My Challenge:
Should you or any of your loved ones be down with any ailment at all be it common, recurring and progressively degenerative, go to the hospital for proper check and diagnosis. But if they hand over the above threat, kindly contact me on 09053460598 for our Alternative Medication.

God Bless You
And Have a Pleasant Day Ahead

Many of your ancestors died at birth, out of the few that survived, fewer of them lived up to 100 if at all they even lived that long.

You mentioned that it was degenerative condition and in the same breath claimed that you can treat it.

@Nairaland is the wrong place to seek medical help. You are only going to get help from heartless crooks. Stick to what your doctors have told you and what your research digs up.

You already know that ALS is incurable and they still cannot pinpoint what causes it. There is little you can do other than to spend make the little time you both have together memorable. Every other medical treatment from a credible hospital may extend her life for a short while but it will not stop the pains.

Adalassy:
Just saw your post and need to drop my words of guidance as an alternative medicine practitioner. By now you must have realized that ALS is a progressively degenerative condition and conventional medicine only offers supports in an attempt to help ease the life of the patient and prolong the inevitable which often occurs as a result of respiratory failure.

I could help treat your fiance if you like but if you dont wish to have me help out then i would also leave you with methods you / She can apply and it would make life easier for her for a while.

She needs to eat A nutrient dense Diet!!!!!

The first step of any restorative diet is to REMOVE all toxins and processed food from her diet. Remove all sugars (including artificial sweeteners), processed foods made with refined grains, hydrogenated oils, preservatives and other chemicals.

Next, add in a variety of nutrient dense foods that will fight free radicals. Free radicals attack motor neurons, so reducing their effects by eating a healthy diet can help slow the neurological decay process. Eating whole foods is very important because simply supplementing with nutrients does not mean that the body can necessarily absorb and use them properly. Eating unprocessed, nutritious foods is the best way for her body to receive and process nutrition. It is critical to eat foods rich in antioxidants and concentrated nutrients, as the body is made to absorb minerals and vitamins best in whole food form. Here are some healing foods that help ease her ALS situation:

High antioxidant fruits will help convert free radicals and super oxygen into less harmful molecules and support her body’s function. Some of the best fruits for providing antioxidants are berries. Be they wild blueberries, acai berries, cranberries, blackberries etc.
Vegetables are a wonderful source of nutrition. Foods high in antioxidants and minerals that will help her detox are leafy greens, artichokes, red beans or kidney beans (these are higher in antioxidants than even wild berries), spinach (also high in zinc), carrots, red peppers and mushrooms.
Organic sources of protein are best for her in order to avoid excess hormones and other chemicals. She should choose grass fed beef, free range chicken aka local chicken, cage free eggs (eggs laid by local chicken), lamb, lentils, cashews and pumpkin leaves.
She needs good sources of fat and this includes coconut oil, cold pressed olive oil, cultured butter and avocado. Coconut oil specifically is extremely healing to the body and will work on several levels to boost her body’s natural defenses to disease.

She needs to engage in light exercises that are most suitable for people with ALS such as low impact swimming, pool exercises, light resistance training and cycling. Following exercise, it will be a good idea for her to rest for 30 to 60 minutes to recover. Exercise should be balanced with breaks throughout the day to prevent over exertion, pain, fatigue and soreness.

She needs Supplements ( Lots of them).
Vitamin E, Vitamin C, B complex such as B12, Calcium, Magnesium, Vitamin D especially D3, Selenium, Zinc and Copper (In moderate doses), Omega 3 from fish oil.

It would take me too long to list out the benefit of each of these vitamins but trust me when i say they are a must for her.

Like i said, if you want me to help treat her then i am available at your request.
