Later they will say let's not politicised matters. Was Leah kidnapped by a country? Are you saying the Nigerian government should give in to the demands of some fucking terrorist ? Demands that is more than money, demands that borders on the integrity and authority of Nigeria as a nation. Do you know how many Leah's that is still being held in captivity but didn't get the same publicity Leah had? Who is truly politicising this CAN or PMB?
It's dumbfounding and ridiculous for CAN to think Zaynab was realised only cause she is a Muslim and Leah is still being held captive and the FGN is doing nothing about it because she is Christian.... anybody that believes that is equally ridiculous.

These is what happens when you start dating before you are emotionally mature. If you think sexual urge is getting too much then get married. Religion has laid out rules to live by for us but we always think we know better. I only feel so sorry for the family.

Are we still in slavery huh
Do you think Nigeria is the way it is because of slavery?
You think we have clueless leaders, visionless leaders because of slavery?
Perhaps you reckon a thieving politician steals money meant for development and economic growth hereby plunging us further into underdevelopment because of slavery?
Or you have concluded that our hospitals, roads, schools and security are in a very bad state because of slavery.

Ogbeni stop blaming slavery start holding your leaders accountable. Don't come out to glorify crime because, even a if a crime is committed for a reason it still will always remain a crime.

I must be the only one who haven't seen this GOT of a movie.
BTW It's not a movie. Everyone doesn't have to like it, because great work of art is not appreciated by everyone. I'm pretty sure you look at the monalisa and wonder what's the buhaha about,it's just a painting??

GOT is a very hyped series and I believe deservedly so. But hype tend to encourage people to want to see what's all the fuss about and they might come out feeling disappointed because their expectations was already very high. Not everyone has the patience for the complex story lines and lots of character to keep up with. As they saying goes "don't go chasing waterfalls, please stick to the rivers and the lakes that you're used to".
Stick to the Boss and Actor movies that you are used to.

For a man most of you don't know, for a process of appointment most of you don't know, for his track record most of you don't.

Not everything is a conspiracy or an agenda. Is it only when a South eastern is appointed you will agree it's based on merit? Men undecided this narrative is getting stale abeg , if you truly want to know why the south east is not meeting it's potential then ask your governors , ask your community leaders; ask your governors why they are making poor economic policies. The little development you have presently isn't because a south easterner was appointed COAS or NIA DG at some point in time. It happened strictly because some bits of the poor economic policies kick started but the momentum was not sustained.

CelebritiesRe: Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde Slams Bala Elkana, Police Spokesperson Over Tattoo, Dread by StevenOba:
InvertedHammer:
/.
From the dreaded Yakuza in Japan, Triad in China, Cosa Nostra in Italy, Crips and Blood of Los Angeles, Mexican MS-13 and other notable criminal organizations in the world, tattoos feature prominently in their identification.

Police works involve profiling criminals. They are not magicians. The word is out that the police is out for those with tattoos and dreads. You can be smart and dress responsibly or listen to wailers online and end up 6ft under. You may not be a criminal but you have chosen to dress and appear as one. Like they say, impression matters. The only thing we can do for you then is tweet #EndSARS for about three days and life goes on. The choice is yours.

/
Dude common, these gangs has similar tattoos what the police do is whenever a gang related arrest is made, they look out for these similar tattoos on a database this is based on years of profiling.

When you see a Yahuza gang member you would know, same as the MS13 gangs because they have on signature tattoos. So they don't just pick you off the streets because you have tattoos, proper investigations would be on going or concluded then these database of profiled tattoos would be used to identify a gang member.

In Nigeria what the NPF is simply saying is they don't have time for all that oyinbo investigation or profiling, if you have on tattoos or dreadlock then you are guilty period no investigation no nothing you can be harassed , tortured or locked up. Arresting someone simply because they have tattoos or dreadlocks is just a lazy way of policing and that is why we have tons of innocent ones behind bars. Because in Nigeria as long as the arresting officer says you are guilty then so be it.
When we start allowing the police to tell us how to wear our hair or what to do with our skin then we are slowing shedding off every right we have as human to live the way we choose to (as long as it's not harming anyone) they might even start arresting us for listening to rap music or just about anything ( they already arrest for anything in Nigeria now). Forget all that "it's not our culture crap" we are practicing tons of vices that was never our culture... It's a globalized world out there .

The argument here is not wether it's good or not, or wether the holy book says it's a sin or not, the argument is should simply having a tattoo or dreadlock automatically classify you as a criminal? And the answer is NO!!

HealthRe: Four graduates including two brothers die inside well in Kogi by StevenOba: 5:20pm On Apr 02, 2019
There is a big possibility that methane or carbon monoxide are present in that well this can be due to carbon compounds such as twigs or plants that has gone through the process of decomposition. Since they are denser than oxygen, displacement of oxygen from the bottom and inner layers of the wells will occur. Death will occur in 1-3mins.

RomanceRe: She Is A Complete Wife Material Except That She Is Not Beautiful, I'm Confused by StevenOba: 7:00pm On Mar 24, 2019
boma4success:
I've been praying to Allah all these while to provide me a beautiful and practicing religious sister for marriage, Alhamdulilah I met one sister recently and we became best of friends and from friendship it grew into a relationship.
But each time I'm alone, I use to ask my self, do you really love this sister and do you believe your marriage with her will last if you eventually marry her??
The truth is that this sister is quite good in all ramifications except "facial beauty" (to me).
As you read my message, you or any other reasonable human being might be wondering if "facial beauty" is enough as a yardstick to determine who one gets married to but to me it is...
And the question that keeps running on my mind is that if my love for such a decent young lady is questionable just because of "facial beauty", how then can we grow in love after marriage while she is getting old? when it is obvious that the more one gets old the more ones beauty fades away. Please enlighten me on what to do, I really don't know how to answer the questions coming from my thoughts... No badmouth plsss!
Thanks
Seek only righteousness and peity.
That's what should matter most to you. Beauty is vanity it's mostly never skin deep. If she will complete your Deen please I beg you don't let her go. As you grow old it's not her beauty that will make you love her more than yesterday, it's her character, her steadfastness to prayers, her poise, how she had brought up your children, how she constantly makes attempt to thread the path of God even when situations are bad. My brother if you see in her someone that will always have your back spiritually and emotionally don't let her go. But if you choose to let her go then let it not be because of her facial beauty.

TravelRe: No Boeing 737 Max 8 Flying In Nigerian Airspace, Says NCAA by StevenOba: 11:40pm On Mar 12, 2019
TheBoy1740:
If the Ethiopian Airways crash is similar to that of Lion Air (both of which were 737 max 8 planes) then it's probably more of a pilot error than the plane's. You see, Boeing installed a new security system that some of these pilots failed to learn, it's called MCAS. It is currently the most probable cause of the Lion Air crash, and if confirmed to be true, it'll mean all the pilots had to do to avoid the crash was to push two switches.

If it's the case also for Ethiopian Airways, then it'll be cheaper to educate pilots on the new systems, especially the ones that have the "I've been flying 737s for years" attitude.

But if there's another fault, especially one that can be traced to all other 737 max 8s, then instant grounding is the right choice.

This is the reason why countries like USA and Canada have not grounded the plane yet.
In the Lion Air crash the pilots kept trying to pull the plane’s nose back up while the MCAS system kept pushing it down. At the end of the day automated system eventually won leading to the tragic crash. But could this be the same reason why the Eithopian Airline crashed? Was the AOA-sensing system that triggers the MCAS flawed or broken? Or could this be something that had nothing to do with this model of airplane, or these new automated systems?

I think it's too early for anyone to know that yet as investigation is still on going. That's the reason why countries like USA and Canada hasn't grounded the plane yet.

Last last they will make up and be friends again . But in that time the indomie generation will then know that Magnito has been in the game for years...then he just might drop another single to try solidify his return.

BusinessRe: Economist backs CBN ban on textiles; says FOREX on imports enough fund deficit by StevenOba: 10:19pm On Mar 12, 2019
Sagay212:
Unfortunately you cannot force anybody to come have their factories in the country. If it was profitable and wise to do, I am very sure some of these foreign brands would have come open their factories here. If you think steady power is not criteria to you becaue yiu are used to naija style, it is an important criteria to others. If dem tell you make you buy innoson now, you no go gree. There is no need for us to do gra gra. We need to put things in place and move gradually. Even when we start producing enough, we can't force people to buy what they don't like especially if the quality is below par.
Bro I am not saying we shouldn't fix our electricity. Lack of electricity is really affecting my bottom line..but I still think it's a right direction with the new CBN directive. Electricity in Nigeria now is very discriminating in my residence I have light literally 24/7 and that's because i am situated in an area where prepaid meter is available for all of the residence. But my business is in an area where estimated billing is the norm and the excuse AEDC gives is that they will make more money giving us (where I reside) light than where they have estimated billings. An Act to amend the Electric Power Reform Act to prohibit and criminalise estimated billing has passed the third reading so hopefully it will soon be a crime not to give a customer prepaid meter as long as they have applied for it. I think what should happen to fix the electricity lapses we have is to have more players in that sector that way every DISCO's will be on their toes to supply all customers with prepaid meters the monopoly of distribution will be squashed.
BusinessRe: Economist backs CBN ban on textiles; says FOREX on imports enough fund deficit by StevenOba: 6:39pm On Mar 12, 2019
Sagay212:
Before telling them to come open factories here, do you have steady power and good roads plus security? Or you want them to come and spend more money running generators and risking their lives? Why not tell your leaders to stop travelling abroad for treatment and shopping?

Why not tell them to stop sponsoring people to Mecca or Jerusalem to go and pray to God as if God is not in Nigeria.
Steady power is not a criteria . Various FMCG's are running a successful business in Nigeria and are making good money. To run an industry such as textile you definitely can't depend only on PHCN/NEPA or whatever it's called. You can as well tell them too abi no be Nigerian you be too...when we all keep telling them and voting them out perhaps that change we truly seek will come. But my initial point was this is a good omen for the textile industry it's about time....or wouldn't you agree sir?
BusinessRe: Economist backs CBN ban on textiles; says FOREX on imports enough fund deficit by StevenOba: 8:04am On Mar 12, 2019
Too much block heads on this forum. Someone is even shouting 'Igbo traders' . Do you know the potential jobs this will create? Let the textile manufacturers in China, Turkey come down to Nigeria enough of importing things we can actually produce. Lack of information is a disability.
