Chanchit:
Ogbeni, use your discretion. No one will pay me for explaining.
You still can't tell me why rape should have a statute of limitation and murder shouldn't. So I surmise you are speaking from a place of ignorance and sentiment. One thing about any crime is no matter how long you've been getting away with it, when it finally catches up with you...it comes like a raging storm.
CrimeRe: #JusticeForKhole: Release Of A Child Rapist In Abuja Imminent - Tonto Dikeh by StevenOba: 11:04am On Jul 02, 2019

In Nigeria? Yes.
How do you mean in Nigeria, yes? Please elaborate why rape should have a statute of limitation in Nigeria?
CrimeRe: #JusticeForKhole: Release Of A Child Rapist In Abuja Imminent - Tonto Dikeh by StevenOba: 10:54am On Jul 02, 2019
Cuxigo:
Not limitation, it's just obvious
No you said one shouldn't clamour for justice 20 years after being raped. So I'm asking you, do you think rape should have a statute of limitation?
CrimeRe: #JusticeForKhole: Release Of A Child Rapist In Abuja Imminent - Tonto Dikeh by StevenOba: 10:48am On Jul 02, 2019
Chanchit:
This is the type of justice we should all come together to clamor for. Not 20yrs later justice. The guy ought to have been lynched sef.
You mean rape should have a statute of limitation?

As street smart as he is he isn't smart to know a loose mouth sinks ship. He is very stupid to think he can justify fraud no matter how the government has failed us. Fraud can never be justified EEFC charge him to court fast if he is found guilty then lock his ass up pronto!!

If you are as good as you claim then come home. A diamond has no hiding place. Apply to multinationals in Nigeria if you have what it takes you will get the job. And then you will get to travel to all these countries for training, you will now see how they will always try to pouch you every time that's only if you are as good as you claim. Else stay over there and keep doing your menial job and gather enough money before heading back. Your choice.

She was sent away because she's destroyed her future even more.....
Imagine how much the little girl will be trolled in school by her pairs as the girl who got deflowered when she was a year old.... Bullies won't care how it happened.
Some things should be left and delt with in the family...

The mother bringing the issue to the world would surely end the girl sympathy.... But will in the future damage her self esteem and probably cause depression..

Just imagine the way they brought the medical report to social media.... At what aim exactly?
For social media to lynch the 7year old culprit?

Issues like this should be delt with within the family.... Nonsense
I try not to abuse people online but sir you and the 6 people that liked your comment are idiots and this is coming from the deepest part of my heart with all sincerity.angry Your reasoning faculty is non existent, what an unfortunate fellow you are.

DeOTR:
The sad part of it is that, even those that developed themselves ended up being shortchanged.
A university degree is enough guarantee of good life in Nigeria if you have connections. Except you're exceptionally talented, you won't get anywhere without knowing someone in Nigeria.
Those that learned one skill or the other, how are they faring? Most of them are being paid peanuts compared to their counterparts in other countries.
I left my former employer when I realized our colleagues in other countries are earning almost ten times our pay in Nigeria for doing the same thing.
The country is messed up beyond repair, I had to leave. Smart people should do the same.
Nigeria will not move forward unless she starts to reward excellence.
I hope you will come back one day though. Cause if everybody jah who go remain na. And no it's not beyond repair.

I get your point, but I believe the president should only be making such comments if he's doing anything to change things. I study in Europe, and I must tell you that studying here changes everything about one's mentality. The style is practical and straight to the point. For instance, by the time I graduate, I should have done at least one year of serious internship in a real life setting relating to my field.

I use modern equipments and just as a formality I'm made to use the older equipments to at least know how they work. I will likely just sneak out with a 4.something GpA but inside me I'm so confident that I know what I'm doing.

The average first class Nigerian cannot make these comments cos the system is a mess and opportunities are too far between. I have classmates that are in school cheating their way through, but las las as long as they understand basics that will earn them their degree, they'd still earn a decent living unlike in Nigeria.

So the president should not throw stones, he's a huge part of the problem. The least he could do is appoint competent and innovative people in positions
I finished from a state university very mediocre school if I can say so myself. But I know what I had to do to get employers to look beyond my school. Sometimes what school teaches you is one thing, what you decide to do with your life and how you decide to get there is another. My mediocre school taught me I wasn't learning jack and I made up my mind to also school myself get relevant skills and I thank God it paid off. We all know the Education system in Nigeria is below par, it's a song we've been singing since but we should not allow the state of the nation limit us. I know it's hopeless sometimes but it's very possible because you see our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. We the youths should strive to develop ourselves Bleep the government they don't care about us it's only then that our voices can be heard.

Buhari statement is like God telling a couple dt have been married for years without children to look elsewhere for their miracle, that he can't help them...
By his statement, Buhari is suggesting alternative to education.... people that are educated are frustrated and the government by ds statement is saying dey should look elsewhere......where are they going to look at.... check Instagram and see how Nigerians are struggling
Wow dude I know you have a thing for BUBU. But honestly you sound way too brilliant to be going off point bro. He said " a degree won't necessarily usher you into an El Dorado" . He is not saying don't get a degree, he is not saying degree won't get you out of poverty. What he is saying is just getting that degree alone won't get you that dream job, you have to back it up with soft skills that will make you employable period.
PoliticsRe: Buhari: University Degrees Won’t Necessarily Usher You Into An El Dorado by StevenOba: 9:55am On May 11, 2019
Nigerian youths always defending their lack of foresight and proper skillset. They always keep going on about how ' if you don't know anybody you can't get a job in Nigeria' says who? Just last week we were seriously looking for applicants that has soft skills such as Cloud Computing, Artificial Intelligence and Analytical Reasoning. We had 10 1st class candidates from very reputable universities across Nigeria and 3 second class uppers from foreign schools. The first class applicants were talking and acting like secondary students it was so embarrassing, the other 3 foreign students spoke with confidence and used all the right terminologies they clearly had idea of what they were talking about. They all had no work experience but we discovered that for months the 3 foreign students had been on YouTube understanding the industry, finding out skills that was needed in the field, utilising LinkedIn by checking out others that was already in the industry etc.

My point is a typical Nigerian graduate thinks he is entitled to the job just because he has some half assed 1st class without understanding the industry or skills needed to thrive in the industry. The difference between these two group of applicants was one group applied themselves and the others stopped learning as soon as they got out of school. So PMB is absolutely right on this one.

Their is no pure truth in what he said...his statement.."You are cautioned that university degrees do not usher you into an El Dorado"...this is a bad statement coming from a President. What will happen to fate of millions of students that are studying and seeing this statement from d president.
That students are not getting the right education is another topic entirely. They have subject themselves to the system ,it is now left for d government to ensure quality, student can't provide quality education.

Government led by d president is supposed to provide enable environment for u to succeed after ur studies but inferring that education will not quarantee future is absolutely wrong..Going for further studies supposed to be optional not for me to get my first job on that premise.
Baba you are the one taking it totally out of context. A degree doesn't translate to juicy job with fat check and all the trappings. How you apply yourself, how you update yourself with skills to meet the contemporary labour market will. You can have a first class in any subject but then you don't know how to use a computer who will employ you. So If you are dumb enough to take what the president said out of context and then drop out of school you are obviously not suppose to be in school in the first place.
