onuawuchi: I just received an offer of scholarship of a (meager) sum of $4k. I want to know if it's really worth mentioning during visa interview, since I can show my sponsor is able to take care of the full cost of my education? $4000 is not meagre. I take God beg you!!!! |

If you have done everything right nothing can go wrong. ...Student don't always arrive in the same city their school is. I didn't arrive in the city my school was... although I arrived in the same state. |

darkola: Hello everyone. I am new on this platform and I salute the quality of info that is being shared. I was admitted into Indiana University of Pennsylvania for Spring 2015 (Safety Science MS) but was denied in December 2014 based on section 24b mostly like because I used my uncle as sponsor. I have deferred the admission and my dad will sponsor me this time. I would like to know if the basis for the initial denial will be revisited by the VO when i go in june for my interview. Thanks It is highly likely! Be sure you have a good reason why your dad is now sponsoring you(it sounds like a stupid question, I know) but trust me you wana make sure you have a good reason that everyone will agree. What you've been doing before your previous denial till this one is also crucial. Rehearse, Rehearse and Rehearse your answers till you know it tooth and nail. Pray and Fast too. #Bless |

For those that needs to get their visa, keep striving and praying
For those currently in the USA , try to look back and give back to the thread
Like Aristotle said “We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit.”
7 is a number that represent excellence and completion. This season 7 will bring completion of our heart desire. Amin Jeesu! Thinking of it, I got ma visa on the 7th day of the 7th month last year... 7 is perfect number! #LatchOn |

I've stylishly told this guy that he usually gives me sleepless nights. He laughed about it and apologized, but he still continues. You know houses here are made of wood, the guy doesn't just allow me sleep. The girl screams like his bf is having her womb out.
I don't want to report to landlord. LMAO My dear brother, Look for your own babe and return the favor. |

Dude, you shouldn't be applying to a school based on its ranking, reputation and cost(youu need to tell them the interesting story about your school and it's achievement(s) not whether there's a Nigerian there or nah. Nigerians have quite the reputation abroad and you should know, in the US, you're on your own! The school I got a visa with is not the same as the one I'm currently attending. slimmy05: A friend wanted to pay for his insurance today and swiped at the bursar office and it was declined. He went to the atm to withdraw but was only able to withdraw a 100usd, he tried withdrawing 200 but wasn't able to. What is the problem with GTBank? Had that issues sometime ago. I called GTconnect and they said because of the high rate of cloning in the USA and Malaysia(iThink) they usually restrict card activities on you Gtbank master and I have to call them up to lift the restrictions. Ringing GTconnect up should resolve the issue. Haven't had that issue again though. |

takeglory: Hello House,
please i need u to help me at dis critical time. i hoping to go to embassy very soon but i need your knowledge cos two or more are better than one. I holds B.sc in banking and finance, and i m going for my master degree in economics. MY question is that if am ask by the CONSOLAR, why did you want to study economics since you did banking and finance as a your degree course? what should be my response? pls i need u guys opinion.
i will be grate if i receive a good answer from u all and addition question and answer i can be asked. Hey! You don't even have a problem here. Those two courses are not so far apart. Ultimately you know the reason(s) why you wana study Economics at this time. Finding the differences and similarities between the 2 courses is a place to start from and build upon. Goodluck! |
