This matter was tackled in part 5 and the final consensus is; upload only your current valid passport data page and visa/stamps in the current passport. Ah ok Thank you Ifeoma 3 Likes |

Which one should be uploaded first or the VO should see first?
Thank you |

Newmum0615: Exactly. I think there are some services that are not necessarily contracted with such letters. There is an NOC for shoemakers and repairers. If we take that for example, what kind of contract letter will someone that produces shoes sign with his customers before producing shoes for them? WhatsApp and IG messages usually seal business arrangements in these kinds of businesses. I think if one can get such a letter from their customers and tie the transactions to payments in their accounts, then they should go ahead. People have used letters from customers and gotten PPR. Lol Such a great example with the shoemakers. This sums it up with better clarity |

bigfido: Hi, you don't need to get letters from your clients. I am sure what they need from you are contracts, invoices/ receipt of payments, your business account showing transactions and your income tax. You can take screenshots of email correspondence between you and your clients as well. I have put a screenshot of my gcms note after I got ppr so you can know what exactly they are looking for. See you in Canada.
Hi I'm not saying you are wrong but letters from clients are also needed..it says so on CIC website "documentation from third party"

Gift were wo! ![grin](https://www.nairaland.com/faces/grin.png) See I heard a story of a man that did that. He eventually arrived Canada and was having a cool shower few days later when he heard his name called three times with a megaphone, and before he could say Jack he heard again 'welcome to Nigeria home sweet home'. Anyways, to cut the long story short, he is presently in Ipetu-Modu.
How did they know he returned it? |

cutieplum: A very silent reader with a testimony; not PPR though. I honestly want to thank God for his faithfulness in my family's life today. It's really true that when your hour of decoration is very close, the devil will try in diverse ways to cut your joy. I've been on this journey for years, don't even want to go into those intricate details till my full announcement is complete. ! Deep sigh! I was thinking the same thing last week when my brother was robbed in broad DAYLIGHT in Lagos in his car at 7:30am in a non moving traffic in Lagos! They pointed guns at him and the two other people in the car with him No one did anything and there were soldiers nearby. I weep for this country 3 Likes |

I have a question. I discovered Sterling bank has a higher interest rate than the bank I use. Would it be a red flag if the bank i use is diffrent from the bank for fixed deposit ? |

voguemum: Congratulations to all PPR recipient, we are right behind you. I am here once again with my question (s). I'm trying to prepare all documents and cross check that everything is in place for this journey. Then a thought crossed my mind about my baby's birth certificate because i recall very well the day i filled the form and the lady who issued it told me to change the name I filled in to my husband's surname rather than using my maiden name where mother's name was requested so she changedbtge form for me. So my question is 1. Being that all my credentials has my maiden name and I do not plan to do a change of name will a there be a red flag if my child's birth certificate has my first name but last name is my husband's?
2. Should I process another birth certificate for mh baby and maintain my maiden name?
3. Process a change of name certificate for myself to clarify the two surnames?
Wow!!! Seniors in the house, kudos to you guys. This process is not easy ooo. Compiling documents and making sure there are no lose ends is not an easy something. May the Almighty see us through. I have the exact same issue. I was recuperating from surgery when my husband processed my daughter's birth certificate. They used his surname even when he told them im yet to change my name..every single document of mine is in my father's name. My plan is to leave it like that. I don't think it's a big deal 4 Likes |

bigfido: Hi, I think i replied your email but i am not sure you got it. I applied as a self-employed applicant. I know what your journey has been like. Firstly, don't write any letter for any client to sign as your job reference letter. if you read back, someone did this and got into hot soup. If you can go through my posts, you will see what you need to apply as a self-employed applicant. The most important things you need are contract letters, your income tax and cac documents. Also make sure the contract figures can be traced in your account. You can always pm me if you need more info to get you through.
See you in Canada
Yea I didn't get your email. Ill send a PM. Thank you |

Good morning Guys
So I couldn't find a sample reference letter on the thread from a client for self employed candidates.
The clients I approached asked me to draft the letter then they can sign etc
I'm getting 5 letters and was thinking it would be weird to have them all sound the same.
Is there a particular format I should use? |

Jennypharb1: Guys does the 'how to find a job in Canada' email have anything to do with the visa office your application is sent to? I got the email immediately I created my profile before I even got ITA.
Also after submission on the 8th of October I got an Acknowledgement of Receipt email. I'm not sure it's the same AOR because from people's timelines it seems to come weeks after submission
