So many victories in 2018.
God put a lot of wins in between the disappointments.

I am grateful Lord.

Cheers to an amazing 2019.

Let's go there. It's going to be beautiful for us all.

Amen. When we started this journey, I thought we would be in Canada by now but IELTS had other plans lol

Still, I'm thankful for progress made....#teamPPR2019

Good morning everyone, Compliment of the season.

I need help. Peeps who had to get UK PCC which of the documents did you use to prove address. Our PHCN bill is not in our name. If Bank statement was used, what period did u print. Thank you.

I used my bank statement. Whichever period you decide to use must have been issued within the last six months as it says on the website.
I simply asked my account officer to send to me via email.

If you've been waiting for good deal on flights from Lagos to Toronto, you may want to check out Jumia Travel now. I just booked, paid, and i have recieved my e ticket from EgyptAir. I had to follow jumia bumper to bumper because I did transfer. I Insisted they send me the booking confirmation after i paid and sent them payment confirmation. About an hour later, E ticket was sent to my email. By the way, I paid N685,280 for a family of four(2 Adults, 2 Children). Not bad huh!

That is a steal!

There's a recent trend - especially with June and July aor - where the application is transferred to CIO after it's been approved by OVO.
On CanadaVisa forum, I've read of cases where people proactively emailed their LVO and triggered the PPR mail. The first guy emailed NDVO asking about the status of his application, he got PPR in a couple of hours.
The second guy emailed the LVO in Brazil telling them to that he thinks he may have mistakenly deleted the PPR mail cheesy they sent him PPR the next day.
So if you know that your application has been approved and gathering dust in CIO, try sending a mail to AVO. It might work ....or not.
There's no harm in trying

Lol wow..anything to force their hand jare

Congratulations to everyone that got PR. I have questions that I need answers to and I hope someone will be kind enough to help.

Yes I have read the thread but I still didn't get some of the answers I want.

1. I have OND and HND certificates. I just finished a PGD course in NOUN wiring for the final results. I plan to use ICES for my evaluation. Does having an HND categorize my certificate as three years or more or should it be just two years diploma certificate? Should i evaluate the HND alone or both OND AND HND certificates.

2. My wife has an MBA. we plan to use her as the principal applicant. She has almost five years work experience in sales and marketing. She will be 35 years in June next year.

What advice on you offer us do we can have at least 450 points. We both plan to take ielts.

If you truly read the thread, you would definitely know the answers to these questions

Hello all,
Please to those that just submitted their application, did you see an LOE upload section? I'm about to upload my documents and I can't seem to find any space to upload LOE. It just shows lists of supporting documents for family of 4.

There is a placeholder named "optional document' that you can use for LOE but depending on what the LOE is for, like if its for POF, best to upload as the first page under placeholder for POF than separating

Hi Everyone

I just have a couple of questions in an effort to plan ahead. My family and I are still awaiting PPR

We have decided to settle in Regina Sask and my greatest worry is my spouse finding a job. He's in IT, mainly computer network/system technician.
Is it possible to start to job search from Nigeria?

Any pointers with regards to life in Regina and job search would be highly appreciated.
I'm an entrepreneur and I work from home so I plan to continue to leverage on that so I can have time for my children

Anyone Please

Hello everyone. Please I want to ask the seniors in the house if it is mandatory to upload scanned copies of our ECA and IELTS results in the education placeholder. All I saw in the expandable tab was that we must upload proof of post-secondary education, however some people in an AOR group I belong to are saying it is mandatory. Please any clarification on this would be appreciated.

Yes its mandatory

Scan and upload them along with your certificates

Good morning all . so a friend of mine got PPR few hours ago with a passport submission request within 15 days . Two items were flagged in his PPR mail . His passport as PA will expire in march 2019 & medical will expire in June 2019. It means he must land before february with his current passport- an option he is not willing to take. With a new passport, he can as well postpone his landing till april or may 2019.. My question is what specific document will he raise in order to submit a new passport for his PPR considering the passport request deadline? .

I'm not expert o but just a thought...is it not possible to submit the current passport for stamping while he gets a new passport? Just as how one would have a valid visa in an expired passport alongside a new passport and still be able to travel

Forgive me if any of you have tried this but, if you’ve written IELTS more than 3 times without getting your desired score, kindly consider booking your next test out of state. Especially if you’ve been writing in Lagos. Book your next test in a location that’s not Lagos. I have zero proof, but I think it’ll help.

I dont think location matters. I passed on my 4th trial. All 4 attempts were in Lagos..I know people who wrote in one location multiple times and eventually passed.. Preparation is key

Hello all.

I'm a new member.

If one's PR application is being processed in the Accra Visa Office, how can one reach them apart from using the Web Form?

We have not received any update since we passed medicals on April 29, 2018. Our AOR is April 23,2018. My spouse is the Primary Applicant. It's almost 8 months!

Also, I would like to ask for the link used by IRCC for currency conversion.

Thank you.

This is scaring me

Whereas I know someone who wrote ielts in april, got ppr, has landed and already working in Ontario.
