Chicagomum: Hello All,
I wrote the Dec 1st 2018 IELTS. I feel i could have done better and I am considering not waiting for the result. I am considering registering for the one that will come up in 2 weeks. What do you guys think?
I am trying to hurry cos by March next year i will be a year older and I will loose 5 points.
My transcript is with ICES ECA shd be out late December Maybe you should wait..the ones i felt confident in turned out to be a flop and the one I couldnt say I was sure about turned out to be my best. But if money is not an issue, you can still book another. All the best |

Sandydav: Please forge ahead with your application. A couple i know living together since 2016 applied as common-law LESBIAN partners. AOR was Sept 4. VO is Ottawa. Additional requirement for RPRF was received yesterday meaning better progress has been made on the application. So long as you have documents to back it up and be sure to download the common law declaration form, fill and have it notarized. Wow..Nigerians? |

Tojued: Consider all pros and cons and do what's on your mind, not just acting based on fear of Accra. I know someone who got sent to Accra because they got married.
sent to Accra and getting selected for security screening nobody knows which one is better anymore. I agree with this. It actually more common than we think. I know a family, the parents didn't get married until their 4th child was born. I have distant relatives who had kids before they got married, lived together for years, did almost everything that married couples do. Its just frowned upon because of our religious climate. |

Amanda30: Hi people, Please i am relocating very soon and i'll like to cargo/send some boxes to my new location before i eventually leave the country. I have like 3 suitcases to send before i leave. It's expensive to pay for excess luggage at the airport so i would like to take the normal 2 suitcases but cargo some more boxes of mainly clothes/shoes/bags (personal items) before i travel. I called a few companies like IMPEX and they said they only take items from U.S to Nigeria and not Nigeria to overseas. Any ideas of companies that offer such services ? Thanks in anticipation of a response. Try sendbox |

Newmum0615: Submit only your current passport and stamps plus entry/exit stamps if applicable. No one will penalize you for not submitting expired passports. It is not a requirement. You will only get penalised if you omit the current passport. They will conduct a background check on you whether or not you submit your expired passports. Last last, you get an ADR which I have never seen happen in any case. I had a valid visa on my expired passport with plenty of travel history at the time of submission, I still didn't upload it. Simpler is always better. Before your file will land on the desk of one cranky officer and he will see only the expired passport like in the case of one of our sisters here. If you still decide to upload all, endeavour to make the new one the first page. Stop overthinking this matter. Thank you..I sent you a pm yesterday |

Ifeoma77: Smart move. Or you can just upload the data page and leave it at that. Newmum said she had a valid visa in her expired passport and still didn't upload it. Simpler is better I agree..thanks |

Ifeoma77: I did the same thing you did. But those who uploaded only the current one still got their PPR. Meanwhile, you risk having the VO miss your valid passport and reject the application because he thinks you submitted expired passport I don't have any visa/stamps for my current passport. So I'm settling for uploading my current passport and previous visa/stamps for the previous passports and leaving out the bio data pages of my two expired passports Would that be ok? |
