ALHAMDULILAH ROBBIL ALAAMIN!!!!!!!!!!!

TIMELINE
I sat for IELTS 4 TIMES and on numerous occasions I thought of giving up for so many reasons for people like me who resides in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State…you either travel to Calabar or Ph to write IELTS it was never easy for me…but I was pushed by @bronze25 to keep trying..

1st IELTS; L.6.5,R.7.0,W.6.5,S.7.5
2ND IELTS; L.6.0,R.6.5,W.6.5,S7.0
3RD IELTS;L.7.5,6.5,W.7.5,S.7.0 (at this point I was going crazy…I even lost it a night to the 4th exam…)
4th IELTS; L.8.0,R.7.0,W.7.5,S.7.5
Then CRS stood at 462 at this point and the round of draws on the 15th of November 2018 was 449 (Naso ITA no drop on time…my wife was almost crying and she didn’t eat until when ITA dropped around 9.30pm)

ITA- NOV 15,2018
AOR- DEC 8TH 2018
MED/BIO NOTIFICATION- JAN 17TH
GHOST UPDATE- JAN 18TH
RPRF REQUEST- FEB 1ST and I paid on FEB 2ND
PPR MAIL- FEB 5TH at around 1.35am
Family size is 3, and my Visa office was in Ottawa.

That baby shower part made me burst out laughing LOL

Congratulations my brother...I want a speedy PPR like this dear lord

Just wondering, would it not have been cheaper to buy those stuff in Canada?
cost of shipping is almost C$400 + C$94 + cost of buying the foodstuff.
That's over $600, that will buy you a lot of foodstuff in Canada, I believe.

True

Hi guys. I need urgent advice. Let me explain my situation. I have 3yrs+ work experience working on my own but my business has no tax papers , just business name registration with CAC.
If it is to get paper from another registered company, I can do that no problem , but that will be getting documents saying what I'm not really doing or experienced in.
What do you advice me to do? Will I be able to use my own business as my work experience?
Thank you

There are other ways to prove legitimacy of your business apart from tax papers like bank statements, online presence and invoices/receipts

Unless something has changed, why are you guys evaluating WAEC in WES. You are just meant to evaluate your highest educational qualification used in gaining points. E.g. Masters/Bachelors Degree...etc. I hope you guys are not stressing yourselves unduly.

"Please note that it is highly unnecessary that you include your WAEC in the evaluation process as this does not add further points and only delays the process."

During my time, I only evaluated my MBA. PR holder since 2017!

You missed the memo

Though I landed somewhere else, I was referred to one in far less than a month because I was over 30 weeks. You dont have to be worried. I remember I went to a walk in clinic just in case and I called a healthline that link patients with doctors. When I called the healthline I mentioned that I was over 30 weeks and within a few days I had a doctor.

Where did you land please?

Hello everybody,

I have a question about WES verification, is it possible to use WES USA credentials or must I start WES Canada verfification all over again?

Also if I have two degrees, a Bsc and a masters, do I have to evaluate both the degrees or just the most recent one?

Thanks for your assistance

It MUST be WES Canada; Evaluation for IRCC
2. You should evaluate Masters only to not just save time and cost but to get the maximum points for education

I've been thinking a lot about healthcare in Nigeria lately and the viral video of a man crying in the middle of the road because of his baby who has a hole in his heart.

Truth of the matter is One medical emergency, one major surgery...and 90% of us will be flung into abject poverty

That is if those 90% can afford the bills in the first place. Without BEGGING for it.

It’s scary. It scared me. It should scare you.

We CANNOT afford to rest yet. Get up & get to work

Study for that IELTS, do everything you can to overcome any obstacle in this process because our lives and that of our children depends on it...LITERALLY!

Please my friend, she is not on this forum but she said I should ask this question, she has OND, HND, PGD and Masters so she is asking if it is necessary to evaluate ond, hnd, pgd or just to evaluate only masters using IQAS or ICES? Please what advice do you have to give her. Thank you

She only needs to evaluate her masters to gain the maximum points for education

Quoting the above paragraph by @saidato, I would love gurus in the house to help answer this question.

My spouse(PA) has a brother(married). The brother lives in Nigeria but his wife lives in Canada(A citizen), is it possible for my spouse to claim the siblings 15points using the brother's wife?

Thanks!

Chai. If only the brother was living in Canada.
.unfortunately the answer is no. His wife is not his sibling. You can only claim points from a sibling

Hi all, please I need help.

My PR Visa expires in July, while my passport expires in October. My travel date is last week of May.

Will this be a problem as passport validity will be less than 6 months. If it is, does CIC need to be contacted after passport renewal or just travel with the new & old passport that has the visa.

On the sister thread, i read that a number of persons landed with three months passport validity. It probably depends on the airline too.

which specific materials/resources do you recommend for IELTS, I am already practicing and will write it later in the year.

Yeah that's why I modified the post. Somewhere in part 3, there's a screenshot someone posted from a Twitter response by IRCC that the expiry date written on the PCC doesn't matter as long as it's less than 6 months.
That's the information I was working with.
Now I've also updated my knowledge.

Its a bit confusing.. Does it mean the 6 months validity by IRCC only applies when the application has been submitted?

So I have a friend who is skeptical about applying because of her son who has down syndrome.

I wasn't sure what to tell her...is down syndrome a problem for the express entry program?

What!?! It's crazy. I don't even know my height, weight, eye colour etc. I'm not even sure the house I stayed in while serving has street number.

Most Nigerians have brown eyes
