One does not always have to be assertive and dogged to be successful in life. Some people are lucky and don't display any of these traits yet they are very successful. Different personality traits can all be successful - the most important thing is discovering your talent and knowing how to profit from it. Then you mention society discriminates against people who deviate from the norm. If you had an education, you would know that life rewards people who deviate from the norm. The likes of Bill Gates, Larry Ellison, Paul Allen, Steve Jobs, Mark Zuckerburg actually deviated from the norm, that is why they are so successful in life today. Most of these guys dropped out of college (mostly Harvard) to start their businesses. Today they are very well rewarded for these deviations. If you had an education, you would know that doing what everyone else is doing will only make you mediocre in life. If you took any finance class you would understand that "no risk taken means very little return". Life itself rewards risk takers.

Everyone needs tools to raise their standard of living. However would standard of living or sucking it up in order not to whine change ideologies, thought processes, and nuances that enforce these discriminations? Not so much! Discourse, consistent dialogue and legislation are what would weed out these ignorance exhibited daily on social media. That is what we are doing here, and that is how it will be!
