@ poster Shouldnt we think of charging those who openly threatened chaos with treason?? |
Abeem:Why are you spitting such venom?? Read the article well Isreal recognises that she is loosing in this decision. Isreal granted the nigerian pilgrims visa but said their airline shouldnt fly to Nigeria! Isreal knows they are loosing money here. Solution is that Nigeria should get their own Airline (Nigerian airways??) to fly her pilgrims to Isreal. If there was a Nigeria airways this stuff wont even make news headlines! Its simple security precaution, your ranting about Mossad is irrelevant! |
jamace:http://www.innosonivm.com/ contact phone numbers there too |
afam4eva:the chief killer of the Nigeria project is BAD BELLE!! |
please whats the meaning of junkie?? or a junkie?? |
Beaf:The bolded is very true!! Ex Inferis:Am really baffled how a president that is said to be clueless, and halfwit is able to within 4 months extend his control past nigeria over many nations to be directly controlling SA police. Really baffles me , |
oyb:Really? Am so proud of GEJ the he is now commander in chief of Nigeria and South Africa. Ohh i love this man. When i get to be president, i willl be CinC of the whole Africa. ![]() |
oyb:i can feel the emotions pouring out from you. Am so so SORRY in case i hit a nerve there. honestly i didnt mean to. should spend this energy of fume and hate and abuse building nigeria thats my point. On the other hand, u failed to draw me into that mud of personal abuses. Sorry pal find someone else , |
oyb:Sir Oyb I totally agree with you on the bolded after you supplied us with details of your own competent investigation revealing the perpetrators. On the italicized, for the past 2-3 yrs most of the armed robbers arrested in my hood were truely armed robbers, and am telling you there havent been much instances of armed robbery here for more than a year. It may not be same in every part of Nigeria but believe it that there are security operatives that know their work and are doing it. Lets not forget that a lot in Nigeria has decayed over the past 50yrs, it will take time to build it back. To all that are castigating police sss GEJ, how many of you can stand shoulder to shoulder with citizens of developed countries that studied your field of study? if you know truely u cant. why compare ur SSS and police to theirs when they were produced by the same system that produced YOU?? |
@ Oyb, Y are you jittery? let the investigations proceed and conclude, lets not conclude otherwise till the security agencies complete their work. |
chosen04:October 1 Bombing: Weapon receipts, diary found in Okah's home advertisement Henry Okah South African prosecutors said Thursday that authorities had seized diaries vowing a "fight to the end" and a quotation for rocket-propelled grenades from the home of a Nigerian man accused of involvement in deadly car bomb attacks in his homeland. The news came at a bail hearing for Henry Okah, who was arrested in Johannesburg on Oct. 2 and is being held on terror charges in connection with the bombings that killed at least 12 people in Nigeria's capital during a celebration to mark 50 years of independence. The hearing was adjourned until Friday. Okah's lawyers say he denies any involvement in the attacks and say he is not a member of the militant group that claimed responsibility — the Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta, or MEND. The diary entries, read in court, discuss guerrilla fighters, training discipline, the use of explosives, boats and night vision. In an entry dated Sept. 19, 2010, Okah wrote: "God is with us. We will fight to the end," says an entry dated Sept. 19 — 11 days before the attacks. Prosecutors said they also found in Okah's home a Sept. 3 invoice from a Chinese company not registered to deal in arms in South Africa showing the price of rocket launchers, rocket-propelled grenades, hand grenades, guns and heavy artillery. Nigeria's attorney general Mohammed Bello Adoke sent a written affidavit pleading for the magistrate not to release Okah, calling him the mastermind of the militant group and charging he is engaged in warfare and "economic sabotage" against Nigeria. Okah, who has lived in South Africa for the past year, denies any involvement with MEND though he is widely believed to have been a former leader of the movement that has destroyed oil pipelines, kidnapped petroleum company workers and fought government troops since 2006. The group accuses Nigeria's government of doing nothing to end poverty in the delta even as the nation receives billions of dollars from oil found in the delta region. Nigeria is a major oil supplier to the United States. "I was arrested after the bomb attack to appease Nigerian officials who had placed significant pressure on South African authorities to arrest me," Okah said in an affidavit presented by his lawyer. Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan's reaction to the bombings has "resulted in a serious embarrassment," he said. http://www.pointblanknews.com/News/os4058.html yes arms dealer supplying which country? or kidnappers. |
SA government just started their prosecution, when Okah was arrested ppl said they did it cause of pressure from Nigeria. Now SA police say they have evidence ppl say show us the evidence and how does that lead to Dopkesi and this and that. Soon them go show una evidence and una go find another story. My take is let SA authorities do their prosecution more will come out, and then maybe Nigeria will start their own prosecution too and then we will know who and who was involved. Its premature to accuse GEJ now of roping in his opponents. |
Ifedisky:@Ifedisky thats rather harsh @poster, myabe u expect too much. My advice to you dont read all the stuff they write here as what men expect, cause your man may likely be different. My Hint to you is this: Most nigerian men are just after the Hot well. Dedicate your life to God if you believe in him and stop thinking about it and you will find the person. I got married a month ago but to be honest with you till i met my wife, whats on my mind for every single girl i met was to just get whats in it for me you know what i mean. To confess i had that intention towards her too, but after the first day i met her thats a year ago, i decided to marry her and i did. Bottom line be careful. Be not desperado or u attract same. |
Plan to fly in Christian tourist group ‘crucial to industry,’ Tourism Ministry official says as security concerns weigh over planned flights. Talkbacks (1) Twenty-eight thousand Nigerian pilgrims who were supposed to arrive in Israel in the upcoming months will have to find alternative carriers, after the Transportation Ministry’s security department barred El Al from flying to the country’s capital Abuja for fear of terrorist threats. According to Rafi Ben Hur, a senior deputy director-general at the Tourism Ministry, the pilgrims were scheduled to fly on El Al chartered planes leased to a local airline in a series of flights between November to January. The planes, El Al’s Boeing 747-400, were to be leased to Nigeria Airways, but operated by El Al’s crew and cabin staff. As a safety precaution, the airline’s logo and symbols were to be removed. “The massive pilgrimage is a state project in Nigeria. They subsidize the Christian’s pilgrimage to the Holy Land, just as they do the Muslims’ pilgrimage to Mecca. We cooperate with the Nigerian government on all tourism related issues and attempt to remove all the obstacles they encounter,” said Ben Hur. “The Transportation Ministry won’t let any Israeli airline fly to Nigeria, so the solution will probably have to be based on foreign airlines. The biggest looser in this case is El Al, which was forced to give up on a large amount of passengers.” Ben Hur was optimistic that a solution would be found and that the thousands of tourists would make it to Israel. “We are meeting with the Nigerian ambassador this evening and with the organizing team on Sunday. I’m sure we will be able to work out a solution. We do not plan to give up on these groups, their visits mean too much for us,” said Ben Hur. According to Ben Hur, the Nigerian pilgrimages have been taking place since the beginning of the decade and the number of people continuously grows every year. “We owe a great appreciation to the Nigerians. They were the only tourists that arrived in Israel in our hardest times, during the second intifada. When everyone else stayed away, they continued to arrive and filled up our empty hotels,” said Ben Hur. “Even today, when tourism numbers are back up, they help us out during the quietest time of the year. “Twenty-eight thousand people visiting Israel for 10 days contribute a great deal to the tourism industry and the national economy by staying in hotels, dining in restaurants, renting buses and hiring tour guides. They are also the nicest visitors we could ask for,” he said. Ben Hur added that he hoped the Tourism Ministry could intervene on the pilgrims’ behalf before the Transportation Ministry, but said he honored its position and wouldn’t compromise security. “It would be a shame if they can’t fly directly to Israel. Any stopover reduces the length of their stay here and too many logistics may reduce the number of arrivals,” said Ben Hur. In March 2009, Israir brought about 15,000 pilgrims from Nigeria to Israel in an airlift operation involving some 60 flights that lasted more than two months. Both El Al and the Transportation Ministry declined to comment on the issue. http://www.jpost.com/Travel/TravelNews/Article.aspx?id=191323 I stand to be proved wrong but is this the first place am reading Nigerians being described as Nicest visitors?? Amazing |

oyb:yes oyb i will also tell that to a nation that voted in Mandella also a nation that voted in Churchill or Theodore Roosevelt, or even Lincoln, and lest i forget Margaret Thatcher. |
GEJ cannot be in Nairaland even though he preaches save your culture cause any nigerian politician can buy NL and commandeer it. But they cant buy face book. What u see on face book is real. Here in NL there are duplication of IDs and all sorts of rubbish u see in Nigeria namely gangsterism, abusive words, tribal fight, deceit, soon them go begin kidnapping in NL and bombing too. In short NL lacks order, its a house of chaos like its fatherland! Mind you GEJ haters, GEJ has more than 280,000 fans on facebook as of today compare that to your beloved evil genius. Yes you can say that not all nigerians use Facebook, but if all nigerians use it, i bet you 280,000 fans would turn to 110million fans. 280,000 people cant be wrong pals |
Reading through all your posts prove that "A PEOPLE DESERVE THE KIND OF LEADERS THEY GET". Nigerians deserve the kind of leaders they get. Surprising most ppl on this thread choose the words of a know Gun runner and outlaw over that of an elected leader (even though the election is flawed). At least give your president and CinC the benefit of doubt till he prove himself. No one challanged George Bush while in office that the reasons for invading Iraq was negative. They all stood by him even when there was rumour there were no smoking guns in Iraq! So you ppl now choose Henry Okah over your president. Dont be surprised some one like Henry Okah rule you ppl come 2011. Over sabi charlatans! |

@ilugunboy Pls stop generalizing, lots of igbos support GEJ. I for one. BTW those that don't, have reasons or thinking other than IBB's promise. To be sincere with you, only a fool will hold on to IBB's words. Check what the other reasons are. But fear not GEJ has more than enough support from the SE. Those ranting here in NL wont even vote, or are not even on location SE. |
johnterry4:Yes i get your point Jonny terry. But when OBJ was in power where were you and your fellow northerners to say his sins to his face?? Yes ppl say yorubas talk a lot, but you Northerners saw OBJ comming and you knew he was evil why didnt you guys talk or make noise like the Yorubas are doing now against IBB. Just after the annulment of June 12, yorubas made the most noise that made IBB step asside. During Abacha the yorubas made even more noise and eventually abacha died. Now they are making noise against IBB. and remember they didnt vote OBJ, it was mainly North and S.E that voted OBJ. To be sincere with you Jonny, i dont mind which tribe is which but I hate hearing the name IBB. I hate it with anything more than Passion. I even dont like discussing it. He and his men Gang RAPED Nigeria. Infact i even HATE discussing Nigeria. Its same old thing. Its like God bundled all the idiots he could find and put them in this contraption called Nigeria! |
johnterry4:I knew u must be a northerner! Please i want to ask a question, Going by nigerian constitution a contestant wins presidency if he or she gets two thirds of the votes in the federation (ie win in two thirds of the 36 states), is it possible that this rule can produce a president in a really free and fair election?? I feel the only way a president can be produced now is by simple majority of votes. This two thirds clause is there because they know the elections will be rigged. Please correct me if you feel am wrong. I will register but voting depends on the candidates. I might just sit at home and not bother when i see the line up of candidates. |
wow, the conditions are tight, I HAIL THE SOUTH WEST!! if they stick to their words. I believe they will. Good ridance!!! |

tolu001:!!!!! |
Thats interesting, I hope Facebook isnt a good judge of popularity cause if it is, its a pity for IBB, he has been on facebook for at least 7 days and his fans are just too small 175 only, compared to GEJ who hit 65,000 in just a week. We will see if the elections will yield same result. |
Paper General! The stage is set for ur total disgrace! |
@ Poster, Are you naughts?? Fire Waziri?? Hey this is the only thing we retain the championship year after year and we are getting better. And u want to fire the coach?? Maybe if we had won the world cup we for fire Waziri cause then we have the Soccer world cup. but for the time being a bird at hand is worth thousands in bush. Point: Undisputed World champion of corruption! |

Desperation, lips sealed waiting and watching. |
@Beaf, I tend to disagree with u, if those aid convoys agree i think Iran will send the escort. The question is to what extent will the Revolutionary Guards escort the aid?? Will they try to escort them to Gaza port?? if they can escort them to Gaza port, then why would Iran be hiding behind aid convoys?? Why dont they (Iran) just come out and break the blockade?? In any case i know Isreali response will be swift. Watching. |
Iran has warned that it could send Revolutionary Guard naval units to escort humanitarian aid convoys seeking to break the Israeli blockade of Gaza – a move that would certainly be challenged by Israel. Any such Iranian involvement, raised today by an aide to the supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, would constitute a serious escalation of already high tensions with Israel, which accuses Tehran of seeking to build a nuclear weapon and of backing Hamas, the Islamist movement that controls Gaza. "Iran's Revolutionary Guard naval forces are prepared to escort the peace and freedom convoys that carry humanitarian assistance for the defenceless and oppressed people of Gaza with all their strength," pledged Hojjatoleslam Ali Shirazi, Khamenei's personal representative to the guards corps. The threat came as the Israeli prime minister, Binyamin Netanyahu, dismissed a UN proposal for an international commission to investigate last week's commando assault on aid ships, in which nine people died. Another aid ship, the Rachel Corrie, carrying Irish and other peace activists, was boarded peacefully by Israeli forces on Saturday, escorted to the port of Ashdod, and its passengers deported. Netanyahu has defended Israel's right to maintain the blockade by arguing that without it Gaza would become an "Iranian port" and Hamas missiles would strike Tel Aviv and Jerusalem. Israel's undeclared aim is to weaken or bring down the Hamas government. Iran continued to exploit the "freedom flotilla" affair to lambast Israel. Its foreign minister, Manuchehr Mottaki, told the Organisation of the Islamic Conference in Jeddah on Sunday that Israel's crime was "another instance of the Zionist regime's brazen and merciless treatment of Muslims, especially the oppressed Palestinian people." Mottaki also called for a UN resolution condemning Israel. The security council is discussing imposing new sanctions on Iran because of its failure to meet international demands over its nuclear programme. Iran and Israel have had no diplomatic relations since the 1979 revolution and President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad regularly predicts the disappearance of the Jewish state as well as denying the Holocaust. Shirazi said Iran should encourage international efforts to break the blockade. "We should expose our enemies to spontaneous global action and not let them achieve their heinous goals," he was quoted as saying by the semi-official Mehr news agency. Iran's Revolutionary Guards, which have a command structure separate from the regular armed forces, are fiercely loyal to the supreme leader. Khamenei has attacked the raid as a "mistake" that "showed how barbaric the Zionists are". Israel's determination to strike at links between Iran and Hamas was dramatically demonstrated in January when presumed Mossad agents in Dubai assassinated Mahmoud al-Mabhouh, who was described as the Hamas official in charge of smuggling Iranian weapons into Gaza. Israel's no-compromise attitude to aid convoys could be tested again after two Lebanese organisations pledged to send boats to Gaza in the next few days. Reporters Without Borders is attempting to assemble 25 European activists and 50 journalists for a boat leaving Beirut. The Free Palestine Movement is planning a similar attempt. George Galloway, the founder of Viva Palestina, announced in London that two simultaneous convoys "one by land via Egypt and the other by sea" would set out in September to break the Gaza blockade. The sea convoy of up to 60 ships will travel around the Mediterranean gathering ships, cargo and volunteers. http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2010/jun/06/gaza-blockade-iran-aid-convoy This will definitely cause fireworks. Hope it doesnt get this far. |
