RomanceRe: See!! Boyfriend's Reaction After Girlfriend Told Him She Was Raped by Stkingsley(m): 10:42am On Jan 19, 2016
What kind of rape were you raped? A sex with another lover of yours without your consent, I guess? Cos I am meant to understand rape by force is painful, which if it were, you won't have allowed your second lover to sleep with you.

I always read ur comments with keen interest. But I also at times wonder if we just post or comment just to book space as I notice the struggle for 1s to comment. Pls the truth is that once you are a president, you are still entitled to all your privileges but not at the fullness of it. Orderlies, cars, even salary is still yours.
PoliticsThe North Should Hold Amaechi Responsible, If My Husband Dies" Aishabuhari by Stkingsley(op): 11:53am On Jan 19, 2015
Following the collapse of General Buhari in Calabar in Cross River State.
Mrs Aisha Buhari; the wife of the APC presidential candidate General
Muhammed Buhari has called on the northern elites to hold Gov. Amaechi
responsible should anything happens to her husband.

" My husband is almost 80 years old. The 72 years is an official age to prevent an early retirement in the Nigeria Army. The man is actually 79 years and would be 80 this year. He is not strong to go through this campaign. They are simply torturing my husband. They keep reassuring me that drugs can sustain him. For Gov. Fashola to consider Jimi Agbade at 57 old, and my husband Buhari at 79 fit, is simply a conspiracy to make me a widow before my time.

please I'm calling on the Northern elites to plead with Gov. Amaechi and the leadership of the APC to kindly substitute my husband, because he's not fit to contest this election. When I was told his credentials were not in sight, I was jubilant because I felt that would have automatically disqualified him from the contest " --Aisha Buhari

PoliticsHelp Me With A Quick Decision / Advice Pls by Stkingsley(op): 12:24pm On Mar 20, 2013
I got this job in PH, I was to be paid N100k per month. On resumption, I was giving employees handbook (which states that salaries are not increased until after 2 years of service). The company is a very big company but owned by a husband (Vice Chairman) and a wife (MD). I also noticed, they wake up in the morning and decides they don’t like your face again. However, I got a N320k loan from them to repay in 10months. But as d month progressed, I discovered they made it impossible for me to keep to this repayment plan. I have never been paid this N100k even for once. There is always shortage ranging from pension (7,500k), tax N3,500k and terminal benefit of N2,500k. meaning I am paid N86,500.00 and then at each day 5mins lateness to work attracts N500.00, but we don’t close by 6pm (official closing time) rather 6.30 to even 8pm (without compensation of any sort). Now tax has been in creased to N5,850. In other not to bore you with all the issues, I need a legal advise please, my loan is remaining about N88,000 and I want to leave the place even without giving them the statutory 1 month notice/lieu, what does the law say about this? And I feel I am being enslaved, and I want out, can i? is there any law backing me? I need urgent advice pls. my inbox remains saintkingsley@gmail.com, 08034157602… pls, I need advice. In January, I was giving one week suspension for resuming a day late from break even wen they knew I was in d hospital. I was penalized N27,600k. In Feb, d same penalty, now in March I was given 2wks suspension for not making a photocopy of a flight ticket I procured for the Vice Chairman, who has travelled abroad with the ticket. What do I do?

there are two things i think you can do to get back your money: (1) if she is still doing the business, get your guys to break the shop and get back all the unsold cartons of drink, it might seem to her like a thief came in and broke it, but you can always sneak out the key to the shop since you are flat/room-mates. or 2ndly, try and introduce another business to her where you will outsmart her this time. But like it is said make sure u think ahead of her at all times

A lot of you might not believe his story, but it is actually truth. And dont be deceived, they are not even white-garment churches. They are pentecostal pastors. pastors with complimentary cards. I have a house in the village, where each time i travel home with my family, a child (from 10yrs downwards) will be screaming in the night for death. and it has called for serious concern and then in search of solution, i have personally met a lot of them, some i have paid N50k, some N80k and some N100k. Both from Lagos (where i am based) and even some i was directed to at Owerri, and one in Umuahia. One truth is, after their prayers the thing continues the next day as soon as they are gone.

Please do not pay to any man of God. A cousin of mine told me about a particular MAN OF GOD who can solve my problem but was quick to say the man is quite expensive, then i asked how expensive, and he told me the man can take up to N250K, to pray for my house! can you imagine.

i am just saying this becuase of those that said they dont believe wot payoski is saying

FamilyRe: Why Do Some Married Men Cheat? by Stkingsley(m): 10:45am On Nov 28, 2012
Your story is and sounds like the normal story/occurrence everyday in most homes. firstly, a lot of people feels its their family issue and its not discussed in public. the thing is a lot of born-again married-men still flirt once in a while. Its only the 5% married men with the FEAR OF GOD that doesnt. However, from your story, it seems to me that one thing is lacking in that marriage. YOUR MOTHER seems like a career woman, and what she is suffering is what career women suffers, they feel they are the bread-winner of their houses, they can do everything on their own, and they feel they dont even need their husband's support/advice or assistance in doing most things... this is not a spiritual matter, look into it all round before drawing up conclusions. With all you said, you already towed the line of your mother and do not even worry knowing where your dad is coming from, even your brothers are following, and that means the man (your father) do not have any confidence imposed on him by his wife and kids. Do you know a time i wanted to marry, the father of the girl i was to marry, advised me not to marry his daughter, because of how his wife was behaving? feeling like she is the owner of the house cos the man lost his job and the woman was highly placed in her own? and the children all obey their mother more than their father? Look very well and see what is wrong with your family before coming out open next time. However, if all things are ok and your dad is flirting openly and continuously, then you need to go spiritual to help ur dad.
RomanceRe: Wedding Ring: Must It Be Worn All The Time? by Stkingsley(m): 12:33pm On Nov 20, 2012
HEY GUYS, d first question is, when did we start wearing rings in nigeria? I mean, when did the advent of using RING came to Nigeria? Initially even till late 80s, during weddings, when a groom is asked for his token of love, he presents A VERY SMALL WHITE BIBLE... there was no ring then. Ring started early 90. TO me personally, i feel marriage is in d heart. faithfulness or unfaithfulness is in d heart. I dont wear my ring except when my wife and i are going for occasion, and we have this understanding within us. Then too, women wear rings a lot, because most men tend to respect ringed-women than unringed ones...

PoliticsRe: What I Think Of "Pastor" Tunde Bakare by Stkingsley(m): 11:40am On Jul 11, 2012
I tot of mentioning names, but it will be too much on this page, but the truth is that, we usually make our comments based on SENTIMENTS. If Poster were to be one with a Xtian name, am sure, a lot of people will be confused as to what to say. some will even want to know which church or denomination he/s belongs to. Sometimes we want to regionalized it, or sexualise it. Now to the issue in question, the Poster did not outrightly condemn pastor tunder bakare, but he pointed out some things i wish WE SHOULD LOOK AT.
1. What comment (for him who likes the masses too much) did he make during the post-electoral violence?
2. What action/confrontations did he take against his No. 1 (Buhari) even when Buhari's comment seem to support the Madala killings?
3. What has he done, having a muslim background, to curb this Boko-menace?

these are some of the points the Poster is bringing. its commendable that he is speaking out (Bakare), but what has he said/done about the killing of innocent/harmless citizens?
PoliticsRe: Farouk V Otedola - By Festus Keyamo by Stkingsley(m): 3:21pm On Jul 05, 2012
I want to ask, why are Nigerians like dis? and why are Nairalanders like dis? Dis report from Keyamo, is it an original article typed in here by a member? or did he type it down on Nairaland personally for us to argue or comment? Am asking this, because i have noticed anybody looking for a car to buy, a loan to get or even a girlfriend posts it here, and even those looking for work or business posts it here too. Am saying this because, i noticed in the dailies of Monday, Chief Mike Ozekhome, has been contracted by Facrook to defend him, and he has actually started his work. This article from Keyamo smears of somebody who needs a job from Ote$. In any case, i think he shd be bold enough to approach the man and tell him so. Why am i saying this? Even a blind man can see that to Keyamo Facrook is guilty, guilty n guilty, while Otedola (is a Saint) who has worked according to d dictates of good citizenry, undermining dat d law frowns at both d giver n taker of bribes. To Keyamo, Otedola ddnt give a bribe, bt merely played along wit d SSS who marked d dollar. Whether Facrook feels a doctored evidence is being released or not, d 1st conversation showed Otedola was in an aircraft, and i am asking my fellow Nairalanders, WAS OTEDOLA TAKING THE WHOLE $620,000 TO CHINA? or wherever he was travelling to then? because, ACCORDING TO THAT CONVERSATION, Facrook was called up by Otedola to come for d money. What if Facrook ddnot send TJ, will he have travelled wt d money? At d other point, he said HE CANNOT KEEP SUCH MONEY AT HOME, but he can take it to airport aboard an aircraft.

Guys, we are all Nigerians. If SSS were privy of this matter as is being claimed, am sure, trust Nigerian Police, they will swing into action in search of those MARKED dollar bills. We all have established that both FACROOK N OTEDOLA ARE THIEVES here, let no job/brief-seeking lawyer become d judge at d same time. Please, we are watching.... I have noticed in NAIRALAND, that the person who reports a case first, is always d innocent man. Pls, dis shd not be so. Until d full trial starts, we cannot say for sure how dis thing happened.

For those castigating d National Assemblies (closed trial) and citing the subsidy era in January, am sure we also remember there were a lot of closed door meetings between House of Reps and the Labour Congress. Pls, lets keep straight mind on this issue, knowing that d two pple have defaulted and we shall all learn of d outcome sooner or later, but d no. 1 priority is DONT ALLOW THIS TO BURY THE FUEL SUBSIDY PROBE REPORT, which is d main intention of this whole saga

Christianity EtcRe: Should We Pray Abt Everything? Electricity? Weather? And So On? by Stkingsley(m): 12:44pm On Jul 03, 2012
I believe in the power of prayer. I tell u an instance, once we were in a choir rehearsal and our keyboard was misbehaving, so our choir master asked us to pray, laying hand on the keyboard, whether by sheer providence or something, the keyboard started working and our rehearsal was successful.... i noticed while working to repair a lady's laptop that there were a lot of oil inside it, so i asked her why so many oils, she told me the laptop was misbehaving so after praying for d laptop, she ANOINTED IT, and that's why there were a lot of oil in it. But instead of healing it, it brought the laptop to my shop. HOWEVER, am not disputing the power of prayer, because it is used to unravel mysteries, heal wounds, mend broken hearts n promises and enjoy goodness.

Esther Breakthru at Ojuelegba also scammed my wife of N2000 and sent her to the same place they have sent over 100 job-seekers. God will expose them and punish them.... in Jesus Name, Amen
PoliticsRe: The President Lied! By Yinka Odumakin by Stkingsley(m): 11:48am On Jun 27, 2012
@ all, its amazing how we take things on their face value. Firstly, who can rule Nigeria without any issues or oppositions? It is an agreed fact that GEJ is not a diplomat and as such does not know how to coin his words nor is he an orator dat will have a mastery of words. It is equally truth that GEJ is not a renown politician to talk like YINKA ODUMAKIN, et al. But what we do know is that whether we like it or not, He is our President and we must respect that fact. God gave him the seat and until his tenor is up, we should all but support him. In not necessarily joining issues with Yinka Odumakin, i wish to bring out some highlights which i am sure Yinka already knows. In every nation, mostly foreign policy supercedes the national policy, so GEJ's Brazilian trip is an answer to our foreign policy. GEJ must go, GEJ must go, will you stay? What has Yinka Odumakin, Prof. Niyi Osundare and Pastor Tunde Bakare, contributed to our country? Pastor Bakare was unheard of except as a pastor until one of the major sponsors of BH chose him as running mate, and then we started hearing much abt him. SNG, Occupy Nigeria Group, etc, we all know that Yinka Odumakin is Pastor Bakare's Personal Assistant, but what about using their connections (PTB) as a converted Muslim, can still speak with his BH brothers to allow the country be. If leadership/rulership is easy, why has DR. JOE ODUMAKIN (WIFE OF YINKA) refused a public appointment? because she knows she will fail. Please, we all know you a lot.
And to Yinka, if you dont know, some of us have been following your activities. you also lie alot. your cronies lies alot too, so dont be a saint here for those who dont know you. We know how you always go on sponsored PROTEST, of course that is how ACTIVISTS earn their living, so who is a Saint here?

A LETTER TO THE NORTHERN YOUTHS

I write this letter to you as friends and colleagues, and as compatriots. I have a feeling that the majority of you may not be happy with the negative thing ravaging the northern parts in the last few months.

The sectarian violence orchestrated by the Boko Haram terrorists and wanton killings in many parts of northern Nigeria have posed very bad image to the region, and in fact has grossly desecrated the predominant faith of your people.

As youths, you own the future which the activities of these terrorists are capable of destroying.

The incessant killings have driven economic growth, sympathy and honour away from that region. This is a hard fact!

The whole world now sees northern Nigeria as a pariah, an unsafe region where foreigners and investors must not visit!

Most adherents of the Islamic faith have been put in a very difficult situation as a result of the this menace ravaging the north. The attacks on churches have made things worse, when we consider the fact that innocent lives are being wasted needlessly by these terrorists, thus making the region very bloody! This can bring divine judgment on the region in no time!

However, northern youths have a lot to do, by exposing the sponsors and hideouts of the Islamic militants. You can organize vigilance groups in the villages, farmlands, mosques and churches in your areas. You can fish out these criminals among you!

The suicide bombers have no future; they have no values, that is why they prefer to die violent deaths and also kill others. In the process, they bring curse and sorrow, fear and panic among the generally peaceful people.

I had lived in some parts of the north and I can attest to the fact that many northerners are very accommodating and kind, hard-working and honest.

But these terrorists have bastardized the northern Nigeria values you cherish. They have made the attractive northern Nigeria a hostile, death-prone region! Do you like this?

You may not know, Nigerians from northern parts are already under surveillance in foreign airports, when they travel out! They suspect them!

It is possible that the sponsors and financiers of these terrorists are older people, very close to their graves.

Fellow Nigerians, please prevent the selfish interest of a few disgruntled people, whose intention is to destroy the reputation of your region, by cutting off their nose to spite their face! Report them to the security agents before they hatch their next plans!

Please volunteer today, to expose the miscreants and their sponsors, before the destruction of your future becomes irreversible.

Let us all restore the glory of peaceful northern Nigeria, where the likes of the late Nnamdi Azikiwe, Chukwuemeka Odumegwu-Ojukwu, and Bola Ige were born! My father spent some years in Jos and he lived there peacefully! Many of his neighbors including the personal secretary of the late Sir Ahmadu Bello, the late Sunday Awoniyi, were Christians.

Where then have these spineless terrorists and their bloody sponsors derived their motive to kill Christians and others in the north?

May God bless you us all. God bless Nigeria. God bless all Nigerian citizens who love peace
PoliticsRe: Farouk Lawan Contacted Us After He Discovered The Money Was Mark:police by Stkingsley(m): 9:15am On Jun 15, 2012
All of u guys have made an interesting reading. But it seems to me that once you are Nigerian which we all are, things do not get clearer to you again, or you simply become a dunce (sorry 4 d use of the word). My point being that in Nigeria, a lot of things are at stake. Why did we all leave what we are chasing and are now chasing shadows? How many of you still remember the The ABACHA COUP VIDEO with Oladipo Diya? Let us look at it dis way again> Farouk after an initial denial, says "Yes I got cash from you, but you put pressure on me to take it and i told a House Official about it".. The police says Farouk should surrender the cash, Farouk says he wont. Reason: it is the only proof that Otedola bribed him. Now the questions to help some of us: why did Lawan keep the cash for this long? Isnt it true he was after the balance? COuld this be a way to kill the fuel subsidy report? Who are Otedola's backers?
NOW LOOK AT THIS: Nobody expected the weighty allegations made against fuel importers and their collaborators to go without a major reaction. the growing bribery scandal on the committee turned out that report could just be one of the reactions. i am not saying either of them is guilty/innocent. was part payment made? we dont know. what we know is what is made public. however, i would say we should not lose sight of what brought about all this probe in the first place. How could we, Nigerians, who are Nigerians expect that FUEL SUBSIDY PROBE REPORT to just be released to the public just like that? Do you know how many RICHMEN that will go to jail? You shd know better by now, that METHINK that both OTEDOLA & LAWAN are merely playing out a script. Come-on guys, for 13yrs Farouk has been heading one adhoc committee or the other, why now? Nigeria's highest problem is CORRUPTION and it stemmed from FUEL IMPORTATION. why would we not repair our refineries? why do some pple keep importing generating sets? GEJ, said the bane of Naija's problem is corruption and our new year's gift was Removal of Fuel Subsidy, now a lot of money have been thrown into this committee to get this report. And then all of a sudden, FAROUK of all people, the SMART-INTELLIGENT, OUTSPOKEN FAROUK, who drilled PATRICIA ETTEH, NGOZI OKONJO-IWEALA, OKEREKE-ONYIUKE, etc will be involved in a scandal? Is this not a script these people are playing? And they are playing it so that cancerworms from the subsidy probe will not be made public. ON THIS, PLEASE LET US SAY NO. LET THEY RELEASE THE REPORT and after they can look into the scandal or who gave and who received bribe. Video Evidences can be doctored this days I hope u all agree with me

Again need I ask which Nigerian tribe has allowed the Widow of any of her Heroes to accept a Government appointment where she will be at the mercy of the appointing authority. Why cant Bianca Onoh like Asabe Yar'Adua, Shehu Yar'Adua's widow, like Ramat Murtala Mohammed's widow, like Zik's widow, like Awo's widow, and other widows of Nigerian greats old and young not run an NGO to sustain the legacies of her departed husband and inspire youths to greatness rather than accept a foreign posting OR was the Ojukwu phenomenon a ruse afterall? If not, why will the Ibos/Igbos allow her widow to accept an Ambassadorial posting less than 7months after his death and burial? Or cant the South East Governors fund her NGO should she set up one? Just wondering why our values as Ibos/Igbos are so terribly denominated on the precariously banal scale of naira and kobo. Just wondering!!!!!May GOD help us - Dr. Chris Chukwudumebi Nwaokobia Jnr BB Pin 27BC4AF8.(Please share if this makes any sense)...
