It will depends on your kinda biz like thirdeye has suggested, and your targeted clients.
However, Ikeja is always a better option, closer for people in the mainland, and suburb.

i'm starting a video and audio production studio. from my findings, the ikeja area will be a viable location, but i'm concerned about selecting an area that has no inferior repute for being lowly or something, so i can attract an upscale clientele (celebs) as well as upcomers.

this biz doesnt really require a chaotically busy or noisy area. maybe bout 65% commercial and 35% residential.

i'm looking to rent a property in lagos for a business, but i dont live in naija . i know allen avenue, ikeja area is a bit decent, but i was wondering what ogba is like, as i have seen a lot of better deals posted in this area. is it a decent place (compared to allen) or just another ghetto. thanks

n also, i'm looking in this area (ikeja) coz it seems to be around my budget. the island is overpriced

just kiddin! but, if she really wants to be in one, shes got to keep her ears down for auditions n try to be outstanding. n if shes more serious, another way is to directly contact video production outfits like 'capital' etc. they should have a roster or profile of girls they keep and contact if she fits d role.

n as for being in psquare vids. i dont know where ur "friend" lives but 70% of their vids r shot outside naija.

maybe when i'm done setting up my vid production outfit (still in da works) by early next year out in naija, i could have somn' for ur friend without her having to blow anyone

a friend of mine visited naija over d summer n came back with dis track on his laptop. i laughed real real hard when i heard it. its a big joke. the dude is no doubt a stark illiterate, and da ironically funny part is dat somewhere in d song he says something like na lack of education dey cause am, referring to timaya as uneducated, when he probly cant spell his name. its so funny

housing prices in nigeria are a big joke. i just saw an ad for a plot of land here on NL for 1.1 billion naira in banana island. thats almost $7.5 million. are u freaking kidding me. just a plot of land. am i buying the darn island?

n its even more outrageous when u consider the terrible state of infrastructure all around these. no electricity or roads. with that amount; i wont even start to say what kinda houses i'll buy over here.
