FBNH at 37.25, giving UBA and Access a wide gap. What is the basis if I may ask. Is it Ote$ strategy or what?

Thanks @Agba! "Agba o ni tan lori'le". It is a simple prayer for those who may not understand.

Agbalowomeri:

Attached from the banks showing a direction. Banking index clearly below the Ichimoku cloud on the daily.
Those who trade it will now use this cloud as the resistance.
ASI still showing RSI-price divergence on the daily so my guess is that bears will force it to align with the RSI (see second chart)

This is how a trend develops gradually; I expect the medium (weekly) and possibly the long-term (monthly) to follow suit (this is not data but my gut Lol)

As if people are not losing money in forex. Many have been sent back to the village because of forex.
Maybe you should advise people to go for betnaija

Ballzproblem2:
people investing in Nigeria stock exchange are just wasting their time with the devaluation of naira , they're better of just buying Dollars and keeping it.

If not go an learn forex trading EOD.

How good is T212. Is their service reliable? especially for those of us with tashere funds.
Can I come to your DM?

Mankind2024:

In 2013, I requested Meristem to adjust my buying fee to 0.5% based on the benchmar @Morgan, they replied that they can only consider if my portfolio worth is N100M, at the time I was struggling to build an investment portfolio of N1m, fast and forward portfolio is smiling @ over a quater NGN Bili.
Just waiting to cross the N0.5B b4 requesting morgan to adjust the current 0.5% to 0.25%.
U will all know once it is granted.
Investing for free is the ultimate.
T212 platform does not charge Nigerian investors for global stock exchanges any commission. I was lucky to have opened an account with them in 2019.
As at today, Nigeria is no longer among the countries they accept.
Investment / Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by STOjo: 4:49pm On Feb 01
Apologies. I do not believe this is the best strategy.
A good investor should know when to hold on and when to leave. It is about having skills to know which stock to buy, hold or sell.

Managing your emotion is important.

Streetinvestor2:
Who is with me on this yeye decision. Since I started stock market,I have never sold any stock below the price I bought it.what I do is
1.If I believe in the company,I average down till I sell later at above BE
2.The shares remain thr till the company closes shop like Union homes, and many insurance companies. That is why I no like insurance companies. They do me saga in this regard
3Then some stay till they delist or another guy buys them over.it happened to Dan flour. I was with it from alhaji to tiger brand and back to alhaji. Then finally olem..Luckily all delisting has been above my BE.Adova oil and gsk
4The remaining is just thr in my portfolio. I just sold japaul. I am waiting for tantalizer, abc to go above my purchase price

I know I have lost time value of money but I no dey gree sell at loss

You are not the only one that lost money in 2007/08. What i would advise you is to get knowledge. Research very well. Sell any of those stocks you need to sell and channel your funds into a rewarding stock. I lost money in 2007 too and can never forget my UBN how it went, but what I lost is now insignificant compared to what I have gained in this market.
My strategy is to learn and trade/invest with wisdom.
There is no point tying down your capital.

My opinion.

husu:

I bought UBA @33 naira in 2007, zenith @40 Aiico @6naira, Dangsugar@50 naira, wema@15naira. If UBA didn't get 100naira, zenith 120 naira , Aiico 20naira, I won't sell, my friends that invested in lands and properties are worth more that 1000% of their initial value as at now. In 2007 transport from portharcourt to lagos is #2,500, now it's 40,000 naira.

For clarifications on items 1 and 3:
Is this in a Nigeria bank or offshore. Not aware if our commercial banks can give any loan less than 20% at present.

Heishere:
Happy new year guys. In order to contribute to this valuable ecosystem, I will share the below tidbits on using loan to purchase stock.

There have been some back and forth on whether it is advisable to use loan to purchase shares. some are against it, while few are not. I used to be against it but now I purchase my shares with loan. But I only use cheap loan. I cannot advise you on what kind of stock to purchase using loan. I can only provide some nuggets on how I obtain cheap loans in case you are looking for how to do so. The limit however is directly proportional to your leverage aka credit worthiness.

Please note that financial institutions are obligated to share your credit information with the global credit bureau. This means that if you default, you won't be able to access credit anywhere in the world. So if you do anyhow you will see anyhow.

1. Credit card: You can obtain credit card from your bank. The limit can be as high as 5Million and above depending on your income. The interest is zero so long as you repay within 50 days. Note that they will charge you 50% interest if you don't pay back within 50 days. I make use of this one alot but be careful if you are going to obtain one.

2. Close ended groups: If you are a member of some close ended groups you can take advantage of their loan system. It is usually cheap (single digit interest rate). But you have to be making some periodic contributions to qualify. I also make use of this as well.

3. Strategic partnership with your bank: Depending on your leverage and relationship with your bank, you can obtain cheap loan from them to purchase shares. I used this method last year to purchase 2 quality stocks with a single digit interest rate. I just finished the payments 4 months ago.

4. Family & Friends: You know how this one goes but you have to be a trusted fellow for it work.

So good luck to you as multiply our portfolios this new year. God bless.

FBNH has already sold almost 4x its average weekly volume in two days this week with 3 more days to go.

It is trading in a range, some might call it a bullish flag but with the inverted hammers printing for a few weeks now, I wouldn't be bullish on this either which explains why I stated that it needs to hold 10.90.

It is below the weekly 30MA, volume is increasing and printed a doji last month. Support is at 9

Fundamentally speaking I do not see FBNH getting to 9 soon. However, I understand you are talking of technical.
You are doing well!

My brother, I had wapco and added more at that price. I don dey cry since last week. If you see wetin wapco and mtn do me ehhh.
They both raised my portfolio and suddenly wanted to give me heart attack.
On two different days, both of them cut atleast N1.2m/day.
They gave me joy and took it back. I just dey wonder wetin people dey go through.

Do not be disturbed, you only lose when you sell, in as much as you have not sold, the price can reverse. That is the beauty of the market.
Also, if you have fund you can average down.
Presco also move down from 200 to 162 between last week and now.

Seems they paid interim dividend of 0.10kobo for 2020 already yet to announce final dividend.
