I cant believe that this issue is being relitigated here again.

The main supervisor/general contractor is responsible for ALL the works done by his subcontractors/subtrades (as long as IT IS UNDER HIS SCOPE OF WORK )

The idea that carpenter, iron benders bricklayers, sand fillers, concrete pourer are all individually responsible when you were paid as the contractor and supervisor is INSANE...


ANYWAYS THIS AVOIDANCE OF RESPONSIBILITY IS NOT NEW FOR OUR FRAUDSTER BUILDER.

If that's the case why take "credit" for any job since the subcontractors are individually responsible...only want to take credit when it is favorable to do so

Simple questions will not be answered.

Most people should know the difference between conduit work done doing concrete casting/carcass work and electrical cabling....

At the risk of pulling this thread back a week...

Why you should always question the quality and reputation of the person giving of advice given on this platform..
Last week when the issue of performance bond was being mentioned, some erroneous/incomplete information was given on this platform.

Performance bond is an insurance policy and is mainly issued by insurance companies.

It is actually a simple process if you have any reputation and decent business history.

You have to pledge some collateral/cash of same value of the bond, pay an insurance premium(cost).
When the contract is over your collateral is returned with interest ~ 1% P.A.

This is a simple process that can be done and completed within 48 hours like opening a business bank account

For example:
Say you want a performance bond of 1 million naira.
1. You deposit 1 million,
2. Pay an insurance premium usually around N20,000 naira, /N1 million and after the contract is done your money is returned with interest.

The inability of out fraudster builder to perform and obtain this simple bond for this project, tells you all you need to know..

This despite all the "work vehicles" "work history" "array of every equipment" , "rental material" he claims tells you all you need to know..

I did not want that erroneous assumption to go unchecked.

Respect for client confidentiality is NOT a consideration with our fraudster builder.

Once the public campaign of insulting and bashing the client begins, nothing is off limits.

When he is not trying to get an insider to cooperate to defraud you, he is DIRECTLY engaging in the theft of funds and materials.

From as little as N25k bag of nails to millions..No amount or material is too small to steal.

That is not the only thing.

Owing wages and suppliers IN YOUR NAME is a constant

Collect money for material and labour and refuse to pay suppliers and laborers....people coming to your site asking you for materials you know you have paid for

laborer/ subcontractors calling you for payment you believe you have paid for.
