Contractors handling transmission lines contracts are d real saboteurs. Tell me,whatz holding a contractor,IPDC-HC Consortium Ltd locate at #7,Udo Udoma str.,off Yakubu Gowon Cr.,Asokoro from completing a 23-25km "Kaduna-Mando rd 330kV DC TL" after he has been mobilized since Feb. 2011?

I've alway posited dat govt is a government of d North,for d North & by d North. My post-"How is PMB going to fund NEDC" has responded to dis development. What is worrisome here is dat d members of senate 4rm d SE & SS region has not deem it fit to wake up 4rm their slumber,slow-poke nature to ask dis question. And also address the genocide of 1967-1970 Civil war metted out to d then Eastern region by d Nigerian state.
Unfortunately,what we hv as representatives r just self-seeking,parasitic pack of nonenities & touts.

It is obvious that Nigerians are naturally not students of History.
The President Muhammed Buhari (PMB) led Government is at the verge of releasing N10b to the internally displaced persons (IDPs) in the North-East(NE), North-Central(NC) and bordering country,Chad for their repatriation and welfare. Also the PMB government is planning to establish the North-East Development Commission (to equalize the Niger Delta Development Commission) with the backing of the National Assembly(that are more or less interested in passing resolutions to enable their members have more wives) to cater for the reconstruction and development of the insurgency ravished NE. Now,let me ask some pertinent questions.
What has the government of PMB done or planning to do for the people of the present day South-east(SE) and South-south(SS) after the 1967-1970 Civil war in reconstruction and award of funds to the affected region as proposed by some delegates to the last National Confab?
In comparison,the case of Boko haram and Biafran Civil War are as a result of the quest by certain group of persons seeking for autonomy from the Nigerian state through the barrel of the gun. But,unfortunately while the Bokom Haram militants 'are' busy killing both civilians & Nigerian Army,the Biafran Soldiers then were ONLY up-in-arms against the Nigerian Army.
Remember the monies of the then people of eastern region that were confiscated? Even,when the eastern region was faced with agonizing starvation and malnutrition without federal or foreign assistance,an insult was added by the Federal government under the leadership of General Gowon to confiscate the hard-earn monies of the Eastern region and in return they were given a minute fraction of their monies.
We are now in the present time,history has been repeated in a different twist.
Where and how is this government going to get the money to give birth and sustain this proposed ill-conceived child(The NE Development Commission) in the face of dwindling and low IGRs?
Let the truth be told, PMB is ONLY interested and hell-bent in implementing part of the propals of the immediate past National Confab that favours the North-east at the expense of the resources of the Niger-Delta region comprising of nine oil-rich states.
I want to propose that the establishment and running of the Commission and IDPs rehabilitatiö and welfare should be extracted from the monthly allocation of the affected states as there is no "free lunch" anymore for wasteful ventures.
Does the proposed NEDC have a lifespan?
And,a final question seeking for answer are the affected states monthly allocations during the insurgeny period,the state governments in power then should give report of their stewardship? Not forgetting the ignoble roles played by the members of the individual states' House of Representatives widely believe to be working in-sync with the then state governments to embezzle the states' allocation.
In the foregoing,answers to these soul searching questions will help majority of the 'Ayes' and 'Nays' members of the National Assembly to search their conscience before passing this bill to law.
