^^ Hope finishing with puberty helps
umm, only teenagers tend to attack strangers usually because they r unsure of themselves, ie going through puberty! smh
so, lets hope you finishing ur puberty someday helps you know the difference btw attacking an issue in a forum and attacking contributors to an issue in a forum - either as a result of their not making sense to ya or you being incapable of making sense of what they say!!
RomanceRe: Why Do Bad Girls Get Married Easier Than Good Girls? by stunna2(m): 12:08am On Nov 02, 2011
that there are good girls and then bad girls is a fallacy, all women are basically the same as far as most hetero sexual men are concerned, k! socalled beautiful women - you ever noticed the type of women their husbands of boyfriends cheat withhuh

if they are all the same, then you may as well get an exciting one is how we think! again make no mistake and dont be deceived---as far as men are concerned, there are no beautiful women or ugly women or good women or bad women, there are just only exciting women and very boring women!

there is mary the mother of jesus and mary the prosti-stute!

our mother is the only good mary and you our wife is the figurative mary the harlot because all we do is want to fu-ck ya, so, you pretending to be a none-harlot is pointless becos thats why we are with you - to f- u -c k, get it!??! anything else is boring and no matter how good you think you are, we will not remember you when its over!

now there are men with low testosterone level who will be with u because u r nice, n only missionary style from u will not be a problem for them! 'nuff said

hope this candid talk helps

DOES IT OCCUR TO Y'ALL THAT THE TYPICAL CHURCH GIRL BELIEVES THAT AND ACTS LIKE SHE'S ALREADY MARRIED TO GOD, THEN JESUS AND OF COURSE HER PASTOR AND FINALLY HER HUSBAND COMES LAST IF SHE ENDS UP GETTING ONE, ??

who wants a wife who call to ask her pastor if it's okay to suck her husband's (d)-ic -(k)??
FamilyRe: A Wife Material But Not Well Educated by stunna2(m): 4:54pm On Oct 26, 2011
the problem with not finding someone u wanna marry the way they are now is that by drastically changing the way she is now, u r giving her wings and there r no guarantees she will feel the same way about u at the end as she may use the wings to fly away!
u can mitigate this by starting a family why she is still in school, to prevent lots of regrets on ur part in the future!

the streets of Canada are littered with african men who came to africa to marry half baked women bring them to canada and send them back to school while they hold down two jobs and once the woman finishes (and usually the women become nurses) n makes more money than the man they say bye bye!

there r older more educated women than she is that will meet ur currents needs,
but good luck with the choice u make

it sometimes works as long as u do not do everything for her as many people have noted,

a loaf of bread
a toyota camry
a bag of rice
a chicken
a turkey
a flat screen TV
a MACK truck
a sack of potatoes
a brand new Bra
are all cheaper in America than Nigeria
in your opinion why do u suppose this the casehuh

i am not sure what the  average earnings in america has to do with anything,
average earnings in ikoyi are not the same as mushin but they pay the same for gari and  palm oil
the issue is affordabilty and sustainability.

IF NIGERIAN CAN AFFORD THE CORRUPTION IT SURE THEN CAN AFFORD THE SUBSIDY!!

whether you believe them is another matter (NO I DONT, THEY SAID THE HOUSES FOR SENATORS BUILT IN ABUJA WAS TO SAVE THE COUNTRY MONEY, NOW WHAT HAPPENS TO THOSE HOUSES) but govt claims they spend about 8 billion USD on subsidy  meaning they are NOT proposing to remove it all at once. (WHAT WILL THEY DO WITH THE MONEY, WHAT HAVE THEY DONE WITH THE MONEY SO FAR, 50% OF AMERICAN FAMILIES GET FOOD STAMPS FROM THEIR GOVERNMENT,

for those doing the US comparison look at what percentage of our budget 8 billion is about 1/4

the figure continues to grow each year (THAT MEAN ALL OF GOVERNMENT IN NIGERIAN TAKE 3/4 OF THE REVENUE FROM OIL AND NOW THE 1/4 THE REST OF NIGERIAN TAKE IN THE FORM OF SUBSIDY, THEY WANT IT TOOhuh?)
and goverment is unable to ensure that petrol actually sells at the subsidized price in most places
as long as that subsidy is in place no one will build another refinery in nigeria (IS THE FACT THAT THE GOVERNMENT IS NOT ABLE TO ENSURE THAT IT'S SET PRICE IS NOT RESPECTED NOT ANOTHER SIGN THAT IT CAN NOT BE TRUSTED WITH ANYTHING NEVER MIND MORE CASHhuh)

as such the subsidy has to go (COME UP WITH REAL ECONOMIC ARGUMENTS WHY IT MUST GO AND HOW THIS WILL BENEFIT MY MOTHER IN THE VILLAGE THAT I CURENTLY PAY EVERYTHING FROM HER X-RAY OR FOOD AT THE HOSPITAL FOR AND THE MEDS THE DOCTOR PRESCRIBE TO THE FOOD SHE EAT B4 TAKING THOSE MEDS, NO GOOD ROADS TO TRAVEL ON TO GO HOME AFTER DOCS VISIT N NO ELECTRICITY WAITING WHEN SHE GETS HOME AFTER HUGE NEPA BILLS )

the real issue is
when

and

how quickly

for me the argument is not about we are going to use the money to do xyz it is (WHY DO YOU NOT CARE WHAT HAPPENS TO THE MONEY??)

we CANNOT afford it (HOW R WE ABLE TO AFFORD THE CURRUPTION OR DO YOU NOT KNOW THAT CORRUPTION COST MORE - WAY MOREhuh)

people really need to observe what is going on around the world. nigeria is not far from needing another IMF loan (IS GETTING IMF LOAN WORSE THAN TOTAL DISINTEGRATION FROM INTERNAL STRIFE)why is the naira so weak (HMMM, , 'a loaf of bread
a toyota camry
a bag of rice
a chicken
a turkey
a flat screen TV
a MACK truck
a sack of potatoes
a brand new Bra
are all cheaper in America than Nigeria') MAYBE because WE DO NOT MASS PRODUCE ANY OF THESE THINGS U MENTIONED ABOVE) (even though the dollar has lost about 15% value and oil prices fairly high. we are  accelerating toward broke and no one is telling nigerians the truth (WHAT IS TRUTH; WHOSE TRUTH??)

Do you ever get it right? This greedy men will sell the petroleum for high price offered by those neighboring countries thereby causing artificial scarcity, which you and I will complain there is not enough to meet demand at home. See it from that perspective, if you couldn't see those importing the products making huge profit to the detriment of the national income.
I WANT TO JUMP IN AT THIS POINT WITH A SINGLE QUESTION FOR YA SINCE YOU HAVE MADE IT CLEAR THAT U R THE ONLY ONE WHO UNDERSTAND, and according to u, the only issue is the money that is being made by the few individuals now who benefits from the subsidy must be taken away from them by the government removing the subsidy, right??

i have read over and over and over here people giving u argument over argument - many of them very sound n you come in and essentially repeat urself so pls help me here, will you -what has the government done with the money from petroleum it has been making over the years?? according to u, is the problem of government in Nigeria the lack of money which will be solved by the cash flow that will come from the removal of subsidy or the issue is rather; what does the government do with the money it gets from nigerian oil that benefits all nigerians NOW??

r u simply saying, yes, the money will be stolen once it gets to the government of nigeria but so what, afterall it is being taken by a few now who enjoys the subsidy, and just let the government get the cash so it can decide who steals it??

the government should become even more blind to the increase suffering of nigerians that will for sure come, as long as it does not see the few who now get the most benefit from subsidyhuh

WOULD U KINDLY RESPOND TO THE GENTLE MAN WHO INFORMED YOU (perhaps u already knew this) THAT THE AVERAGE FAMILY INCOME IN A YEAR IN THE US IS ABOUT 6,000.000NAIRA N IN NIGERIA, ABOUT 300,000NAIRA SO OIL CAN NOT BE SOLD IN NIGERIA AT The SAME AMOUNT IT'S PRICED IN THE USA,

my apologies for the more than one question, but ur response will be highly appriciated

Goodluck Jonathan
My priority is to ease the burden of the masses by improving on our infrastructure most notably power and though this is far from being enough, I am nonetheless gratified that we are now generating 4,242.7MW of electricity which is the highest this nation has ever generated. We will improve on this.
i'm a lil far from Mr. President Jonathan, so, if anyone is close to him, please whisper this info into his ears for me: My Province of Ontario has a population of 7 million people, yet, we generate over 19,000 MW of electricity and are currently embarking on building more generating capacity to the tune of $70BILLION!!

Mr. President pls don't tell your country of like 200million people with generating capacity of 4,300MW that you are gratified about that i passed on the above info to you, ok Sir! they might get upset at ya!

I do not know much about you but when i tried to ask questions about you during the last election in your land that brought you to power, most of your country men in that forum told me to be quiet, that you will bring then good luck based on your name and that all is well!

please explain to us why you need to deregulate the price of petroleum when there is no accountability on the cash already available to you!

i have been proudly informed about your Banana Island in Lagos, and how much buildings there cost, k! Sir, if your problem is that of lack of revenue, do you have a record of the people who own those houses denominated in US Dollars, their sources of income and the taxes they pay or have not payed your government??

pls have a national televised address where you look nigerians in their eyes and tell them how much in reality is used to run your government - the government of Nigeria out of the total oil revenue you already collect yearly??

while you are giving the address, have the fear of a god for once, say the god of thunder and convince youself that if you lie to nigerians, it will strike you dead (just pretend because i dont believe in god either) so it will be easy for you to tell nigerians the truth about how many people work for the goverment and how much of the national oil revenue they take every year! after that truth, then talk about deregulation again!

thanks

Whats with your last sentence?? Men are everywhere. . .its getting a good one that counts.
available men are not everywhere Miss! it is because you start from this false assumtion of men everywhere that may lead u to ur unrealistic assessment of ur personal situation!

what do you say when i say categorically that the only reason that as a woman you have not been taken is because u r no good as all the good ladies are taken alreadyhuh , did i hear u say no - thats not true? well perhaps! this is the case with a lot of guys too, k

so, please list all the reasons you think you are a good woman and explain why you think you have not been taken as men tend to generally hold on to good women unless they think or see that she is no good!

in other words, take the problem u came here to talk about as a sex neutral issue and re-examine it over again, asking urself why u as a good woman is not taken??

make it about you as any student of philosophy will easily tell u that you have a better chance in this 'life of no answers' to finding answers to an individual issue -ur issue, than some unproven very hypothetical claim by you that all the good men are taken!

if every man who is taken is good, why is divorce rate 50% in say The US, huh? hope u understand what that means, the relationship u just left because the man was horrible had same chance 50/50(as those of the married ones to all the good men u say r all now gone)

you r posing the wrong question, so just ask, what is wrong with me?? why can i not find a decent man?? , then tell us all the good qualities people have told you that you have and then we can begin to give u pointesr to help you to make adjustments in ur personal approach to men n love n love will come ur way soon, !!

I have nothing against Benin or the empire but to point out element of exaggeration in certain historical records. To claim that Bini Empire was burnt down by British and at the same insinuates the palace alone was as big as German city of Tübingen is absurd. I guess the British committed serious and lengthy act of arson.

Remember I read something about Akasa raid and the act of arson too.
I remember some historical records informed that British burnt down Washington, DC. The only structure partially burnt is your guess.
uneducated opinions everywhere!!

anyone who visits Europe regularly and have seen their old cities from that periods that are well preserved and they are everywhere in Europe (cities from 3,  4 or 500 years ago) can easily see that the description given of the city of Benin being the size of some of their cities then would be totally true; again, provided of course you realize that their cities of today are not what the writers were referencing, so, what is this ur argument all about??

the harder they try to prove how smart they are, the clearer more informed people can see their inability to process simple facts or even truths due to perhaps their learned circular reasoning! smh

okay people, lemme see how to put this so as not to get attacked, aiight! The people on your TV and Radio y'all complaining about, becos you think they sound like americans actually only sound american to yall and they sound perfectly nigerian to those of us who actually live in america!

let me explain why this is so! take those of us who came from nigeria to live in america, when we speak to american born fellow americans, they still pick up that we have a nigerian accent or some kind of accent, but as soon as we step into naija and open our mouth, yall in nigeria hear american accent!!

while technically its very possible to learn to speak with an american accent without having been to america, i doubt ur TV and radio presenters ever do so!

i have seen a few of ur home movies and none of the performers ever have any american accent, so all they try to do is to speak clearer and gbamm just like in secondary school when u try to speak correct english and people attack u and say too much grammar or u speak to police on the streets and he gets offended and say dey there de speak grammar oga!! maybe y'all r just hating!?!

just saying,

please to understand what i mean, look on youtube for 2face visit to the Monique show or D'banj visit to MTV and u can see clearly or hear clearly that none of ur stars have any american accent, ! hope this helps

I would take any android phone . . . .even the cheapest most stripped down model . . . over an iPhone.

The growth in the Android apps market has been incredible, over 100,000 items and increasing daily.

There is more freedom with an Android phone. You can root it,hack it, install modified versions on it

and you won't be violating any iPhone cult "rules".

I have never seen an Android phone that doesn't have a user-replaceable battery. Unlike the iPhone.

Even without rooting and modding, you can make a lot more customizations and personalizations on

Android phones.
There is an app for that!!

Remember what i'm gonna say now as you have never heard it b4,

There is probably an app on my iPhone to help you modify and personalize you Android phone baby!!

so, still waiting for my iPhone 5 while y'all hataz play with your next best thing - Android Phones!!

well, i did noticed your question but either your question is not complete or it's not relevant to the issue: did u mean to ask what happens to the sex lives of couples who fell out of love or you?

well assuming that is what u mean, then the simple answer is yes! if they fall out of love, the intimate attraction between is almost always also gone! and no more intimate attraction is in and of itself another reason people break up!

but if i take your question as u asked it - does their love of sex end? no, their love of sex does not end, just their love of each other and the desire to be intimate with each other that ends!

hope your questions has been addressed satisfactorily now!

Your so called richest Hollywood star is not worth a quarter what Dantata is worth

Dangote"s worth about $13.8b, Adenuga is rated 8th richest man in Africa!

They made it this far in their respective businesses making right decisions at the right time, if they
have now decided living and owning their apartments in a "Slum", they definitely know what they are doing!

You should respect that. It's nobody's business! No need for bad blood!

You can go ahead keep living in better apartments, more conducive environment and the rest of your imaginations on pages of Nairaland.

It's all good but We know berra!  wink
Dude, you keep recycling 2 or 3 names of billionaires who may or may not have buildings in ur banana paradise and then try to convince us that just because they r billionairs, they can never make any financial mistakes! u know this idiocy is very tiring to follow

smart people know that you can be a billionaire one day and lose it all with reckless investing and spending, but in all ur foolish wisdom, they can never make any mistakes, now can theyhuh they know it all and every dick and harry who have a house in ur banana paradise can do no wrong and are automatically better than the rest of us who dont??

you see why in nigeria people go out of their way to steal and be rich because once u become rich u can do no wrong and r close to god in the eyes of foolish folks like uhuh

weep for u,

people like u may believe that sun only shine over Dagota's house if u have never seen it shine over the house of the poorest man in ur village - who happens to b ur daddy!!

@ $tunna, u were insulting people that were brandishing their wealth but you are doing the exact same thing. So hypocritical.
yes, u do have a point, except that people r stealing nigeria's money and leaving masses of people in poverty n going to buy average apartments with millions$ and do not want us to question the worth of the apartments because if we do, we are all doing so from bad belly because we r just another poor nigerians either in niaja or overseas floating about:

so do u think im d same as they r if i then say, hey we can question u and guess what im not just ur another 'a nobody'!!

u think i should just be docile n be quiet while they call me bad belly poor beggar, upset at their riches when that is not the case at allhuh?

oh well,

too bad for him.

someone else will take his place.
some of his family members have undergone so many operations that anyone who knows can see that it was a blessing that he now lives where he does as average nigerians die regularly from those illnesses but he has a very healthy family with him still to smile with and hold and love everyday hence no regrets as mentioned!

the child n the mother will be at the hospital for 3days at a cost of $25,000.00

billed to who?
i thought i mentiond that i pay 200,000.00naira monthly in taxes in return for free healthcare and education and good roads and much much more?

so, it should be obvious that this is billed to our government and this is the case for all our citizens and even ordinary residents who cannot vote but also pay taxes too! no discrimination and no one can tell you which hospital to go to, you chose for urself, that way there is no discrimination built in and no appearance of discrimination!!
RomanceRe: : Since Everything Ends, Does This Include Love? by stunna2(op): 9:48pm On Sep 07, 2011

Something I read:

Love is a changing relationship, One day love arises, blossoms, flowers, but it is nothing eternal. It fades, dies. True lovers will understand it-that there was something tremendously beautiful; it fulfilled them,it transported them to another dimension, but now it is gone. They have given each other a few moments of eternity. They will remember those moment, and be grateful to each other.
Nature intends you to know love in as many ways as possible, because what you can know from one woman(man) will not be the experience with another. Each love is unique.
                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                             Osho

This is true in many ways. But it is a sad thought. I think we all want to love someone this way forever.
you just summed up my own personal belief about love!! , that belief comes from an even more all encompassing belief about 'the suchness of things'!
CelebritiesRe: Apologize To Van Vicker Or Don’t Come To Ghana Movie Directors Warns Tonto Dikeh by stunna2(m): 9:40pm On Sep 07, 2011

There's no hatred for Tonto but as a grown up person she's suppose to control herself, sorry but I can't defend that
well, following her twitter feeds n the few times i've exchanged hello/s with her, she has been a sweetheart, so, im not sure where this whole terrible person image is coming from, unless again you or any other person here can give me a litany of cases (pls don't mention her movie roles) where she has perfected the act of being a wicked b.itch!
most of the hatred i see she generate as any unbiased reader will come to believe is from the role she plays in her work as an actor and it just breaks my heart that nigerians have more hatred for this their movie performer than they do for their stealing pastors and politicians!!

pls, give her a break, there is no home in naija without a bad girl and no home where a brother and sister do not fight on a regular bases!!

she is a performer and all children even if born of the same mother do not usually have the same character and stop trying to breed docile people who can not stand up for themselves!!

if u have made up ur mind about her, u will not notice how ridiculous it all is but some of us who see her as an actress only and dont pretend we know her do not judge her so harshly as those of u who think u know her usually tend to so, people pls!!

as u judged so will u be judged
