WebmastersRe: Google Launches Google+ To Battle Facebook [pics] by stunna2(m): 11:51pm On Jul 03, 2011
Facebook membership just recently peaked in my country and has started declining, !
over here, people are very fickle and technology comes and goes so fast and those of us from the internet 1.0 generation - getting our 1st yahoo email accounts in the early 90s know this that the only constant in tech business is change!

whomever gets it right the most will win more members, until the latest fad comes along!

dont rule out google just yet or even facebook because as Apple has shown, tech companies can resurrect themselves from the dead!

anyone remembers Webcrawler or Napster?? what about IRC chat rooms?? Netscape, anyone?? huh

You are a certified Odey, whether he was born in America or Nigeria that doesn't matter, he is a criminals and mumu like you are busy talking about where he was born rather than the crime he committed.
, again your own picture on this ur NL page is my defination of mumu!
to wast my breath on his crimes, i would have to1st know about his place of birth, because the reason it's on NL is the naija name attached to him, and people have already made viable arguments that if he was British American, no one would mention his British background,
so if he is an american born thief, pls explain to me why i need to take Tylenol for an american headache

we have to pay so much insurance here because Naija, arab, indian and parkistani thieves steal high-end Cadillac, BMW, Benz, Toyota Jeeps and shipe them home n these vehicles r then replaced by insurance companies, who in turn raises everyone's insurance to cover their cost!

i hear a lot of the thieves r now in prison and most have been deported back to naija!

they might just find the foreign market more lucrative and easier, especially if they throw in a bit of romance.

, actually what i find boring is the fact that it is the things some of us take for granted on a daily bases that people like you dream of and then think that you have the world on ur finger tips!!

your hope and dreams of buying that car bores me because i care more about the person who design the car than the one who rides it, same goes for that ur dream duplex, and what have ya!

when u live in a society that elevate ordinary life to what nigeria has, u can never be made to see reason in your pursuit of that ordinary life, but at the end of the day, what u seek to achieve by ur yahoo yahoo life is an ordinary life to some of us!!

SORRY TO BUST YOUR BUBBLE

it will require trillions of Dollars to build nigeria and that can only come from foreign investments, and if u think people are not reading ur thoughts here, then yall r even more foolish than i had believed,

remember that the son of the next person u defraud maybe a voting share holder in the next big company thinking of investing in naija and he will vote againt it, but not that yall care at this point since u have no intrest in honest job anyways!

so, nigeria is the way it should be then, people deseve the nation they build!

THE PROBLEM OF NIGERIA IN NOT IT'S LEADERS BUT NIGERIANS: NIGERIAN LEADERS ARE NIGERIANS TOO!

well, i've spent hundreds of thousands of my money on kids belonging to my older relatives and just this last year, one of them graduated from one of ur universities with an engineering degree in biotech and he was the one i had the greatest hope on,

as he was waiting for his NYC to commence i asked him what business is viable locally right now to look into (and this was with a view to setting up something for him to manage)
the boy was raised in a christian home and have not spent years looking for work after school yet - and i have told another brother that this is the only guy we can trust we millions of our cash - this is why my heart sank when he listed yahoo yahoo to me as a legitimate business!!!  sad sad sad

just to make sure i heard him well, i asked him what he meant, and he explained to me that, its the only way to make it now in niaja!!

i told him there must be sumthin else one can do, pls look into it and give  me an idea and estimate,
its been like months now and he has not said anything further, instaed i hear about travels to abuja and hotel lodgings all payed for by his friend!!

just glad that this is not my son as im not quite sure what i would have done

does anyone know why the most godless, corrupt people in the world also call on the name of god the most! even when u try to date ashawo girl in nigeria that has had 10 abortions, the 1st thing she say to u is 'u must go to church to marry me'

PoliticsRe: Questions every Nigerian should answer by stunna2(m): 5:55pm On Jun 29, 2011
As a people, we lack conviction because every great accomplishment is from great conviction; this is the reason we get easily corrupted; it's the reason we get easily dragged into churches where we are robbed on a weekly bases by church leaders who ride on private jets while we wallow in personal and spiritual poverty;

we r never ever sure of who we are so every di.ck and harry can come and sell all kids of garbage and we buy into it!

we have no sense of self , hence people come in and define who we are for us, how to live and what to believe and how to act,

who we are were set from our childhoods and by the time we become self aware as an individual and a people, it's too late, by then, we have been programmed by society and parents and big brothers and and sisters, elders and pastors to be docile and obedient

intractable situation for now untill,

the Nigerian problem is a problem that was created over a long  period of time  and  solving it is something that will take time. trust me, even if every Nigerian is ready to die, it still wont solve the problem. if violence should break out in nigeria, i can assure you in the end we will be worse than somalia.all  we can do is to find a way of making people in position of authority more accountable and thats something that will take time, considering the fact that corruption has eaten deep into the blood stream of EVERY NIGERIAN. the average nigerian youth is no better than the corrupt elders leading us.
, as i like to put it, watching from outside, one can clearly see that the problem of Nigeria is Nigerians because Nigerian leaders are Nigerians too!!
im glad u see this too!

OP its very sad isnt it?.We Nigerians are the most docile of all ppl and this could explain why our leaders rob us blind and other ppl look down on us.We are a country of zombies and we are ready to lap up the rubbish our own govt hand out to us on a daily basis.Take a look at what is going on in the middle east. The arab leaders are not as worse off as our own leaders but yet the arabs standing up for their right.
this is why every time there is a new government or coup d tat and the people take to the streets dancing, i feel like just dyyying in shame for my people!

we are the most docile group of people i have ever come across and trust me i have been around the world!

i however do not know why this is the case
how can some of the poorest peoples on earth also be the most afraid to die??

i can hazard a guess but it will take too much space to put down my hypothesis here

either way, it's all very sad

N3m-N5 for Abuja accommodation is really reasonable going by the prevailing rates in Abuja. If a self contain goes for 500k, 1 bedroom for 1m how much will a 3 or 4 bedroom cost? then it will be higher if it's serviced. The best option is to build houses for them. This will reduce the cost of accommodation as they will only contend with maintenance of the houses.
interesting analysis or is it just an opinion??
in my quest to know how nigeria is the way it is, i would like to have a convo with an individual like u!!

i mentioned female bouncers so that my readers will know its they who r allowed to pat u down in that invasive manner, what bouncers do is the issue, not their gender - they r all d same

ive seen bouncers tryna let in pretty girls n bounce their boyfriends so that they can have drunk girls to take to d wash rooms to f u c, k!

hehe
CultureRe: Discrimination Based On Physical Appearance In Lagos Night Clubs! by stunna2(m): 5:03pm On Jun 28, 2011
there iz a reason bouncers r called d.i c k head everywhere!

but u generally hav to fit in to get in black clubs, so if you dont wanna be hassled here, just go to a white club n you will be fine!

sad thing is that your privates gets touched n rubbed now by lady bouncers looking for weapons in black clubs but u r also more likely to get killed in same clubs where they wanna search ur assz b4 u go in, y? becos the criminal bouncers let their hardcore drug dealing friends in, without searching 'em since bouncers themselves are x or current criminal types!

now we hav a new law that mandates they all gets training and certification and anyone with a criminal record with be automatically disqualified from being certified as a bouncer.

maybe ur government wanna look into that too

Let the poor girl go and get her green card and jet out to USA for her education. American education is the best in the world with their great technology that is why they are world power. You would get government grant and after your education expenses you would have like 30% in pocket for your pocket money. Anyone can make comment but i am telling you from experience. When i was in high school in Naija i was 2nd best student in a total of 5 classes but was unable to go to university in naija because my parent are poor. When i came to the USA with green card even though i was the best student in Maths but here in USA university, i was like 3rd to the worst in their class in maths. Which high school in naija you want to compare with USA high school? Naija is way way  behind. When they rank best 100 university in the world no naija university hit the list whereas many univ. in USA were in the list. Eventually i picked up and i hold a masters in engineering in USA university now. WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
thank u 4 saying the truth and congratulations on ur personal achievements in education!

Nigerians can be hypocrites! The same masses that will virulently condemn private university education because they charge a few hundred thousand naira per annum will be the first to give their blood and treasure to foreign varsities where the annual fees are in multiple millions of naira. Where is the sense, logic and consistency?

You will see folks that will riot over a 10 thousand tuition in federal varsities in naija yet will be the same folks that will work for a few years, save up and spend millions on foreign masters degrees. Why? You will give your blood for education in a foreign land and yet cant give peanuts in your own land? Why not condemn foreign universities for charging so much like you condemn private varsities in Naija who charge peanuts in comparision?

They want world class education but don't want to pay for it (at least in Naija). They are jokers!
you are right in your argument except you  have missed the whole reason why people are willing to pay millions for an american degree but protest at paying a few thousand for naija ones, and therefore you have missed the point

get it into your head, Nigeria does not have world class education system! period! so people are willing to pay millions for a world class degree but very rational in refusing to pay same for what they know to be mostly worthless outside of naija, which is what ur degrees mostly are, but i know its very hash for u to believe this or know this if u have never left naija; never mind step into an advanced educational institution outside of naija, but its the truth, k

Nigerians can be very clueless sometimes, believing their own hype! the only ranking that matters is the international ranking done by neutral bodies, not stupid pics posted on NL

a lady friend gives me her nieces school name so i can go check her at her new school here and when i looked up the school, it was a high school (secondary school down the road from me!
i told the lady its a boarding secondary school n i will not be able to go there, she was like, no no no, she finished secondary school in naija 2 years ago! i laughed and assured her that her niece was back in secondary school here, she would have lots of problems in university here if she did not bring her standard up to those of high school kids here!

she should take the green card

Serendipity:
The rate at which aspersions are cast on the standard of Nigerian universities, to the extent of comparing them with Ghanaian varsities,  is downright abysmal.
Isn't it indubitable that courses like LAW are better studied in Nigeria. The fact that most of the productive Lawyers we have either studied or had their first degree here in Nigeria bears testimony to the foregoing.

Go to the Nigerian LAW school and see the mediocre performance of those that received the much vaunted high standard of education from Europe, (especially the UK).
A prophet is only despised in his father's land.
The crux of my whole shebang is that our standard has not fallen as such as generalisations want us to believe.
it takes 8 years of university education in places like Canada to get a Law degree, how long does it take in Nigeriahuh
in other words, you must 1st have an under graduate degree of at least four years before going to a graduate law school for another four years,

so, just curious, how is it in naija??
