The candidate of the All Progressives Congress in Kwara State, Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, has won the governorship elections.

Abdulrazaq was declared the winner of the poll by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC after the collation of results from all the local government areas of the state.

The APC candidate won in all the 16 local government areas in the state, polling a total of 331,546, more than double the 114,754 votes secured by his main rival, the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Mr Abdulrazaq Atunwa.

Though, is a good step by INEC. Okorocha and Ifeanyi Uba are the biggest beneficiaries of intimidating INEC staff, but it will lead another to litigation in court, because the person declared would approach court that such action by INEC is illegal and doesn't exist neither in INEC act nor in Nigeria constitution

My point is, Jonathan sacked Sanusi who was appointed by Yardua, he didn't not allow him to finish his tenure and appointed a Southerner. But, Buhari has allowed Emefiele to finish his tenure. You ought to have commended him please. Stop assessing every issue with tribal and religious lens.

Yardua appointed Sanusi, but Jonathan didn't allow him to finish his tenure; Buhari allowed Emefiele, an appointee of Jonathan to finish his tenure. You ought to have commended him. Southerner's tenure expired and why can't it be the turn of a northerner? Always looking at everything with tribal and religious prism.
