Please I need help from anyone that had to apply for Visa for their mom for childbirth (help) purpose. Did you state in the application that the purpose of the trip is for help with childbirth? Did you have to contact the hospital prior to filling the DS160 application form? As part of burden of proof. Im yet to send my change of intent letter, would that be a problem? Even though I got the visa for vacation last year and I have used it for the purpose. Cc ladyGuinivere |
rejoice03:I think you should check with your doctor on when to start pregnacare. I started taking mine at about 6weeks but iv read on this thread that you are to wait till 12 weeks before starting. Pregnacare Max is the newest in the prganacare series and contains calcium amongst other supplements. My pharmacy sells for 5,600 and its a 28days supply. Like everyone else said, progesterone pessaries are best when used rectally and store in a fridge. |
delor:Do you know some people think the age of pregnancy is from ovulation? That's why you would hear some people say they are 2weeks pregnant. Meanwhile, congrats icesnow on your pregnancy. Happy bumping. |
Please does anyone know where in lagos I can buy bump bands? I haven't gotten maternity clothes yet and this morning I had to pull my skirt up to under my boobs to button it thereby forming an almost micro-mini skirt. |
Congrats again kwentjules. Hope you are now looking left right and left before crossing the road? ![]() Twogreatnations congrats and happy bumping. |
Godmerciesss:Thanks im fine. |
Not to be a voltron, but coincidentally I met fvine in person sometime last year...after her consultation with the said doctor and I heard this same thing from her. HD16 I hope you know there are different types of fibroids based on their location? Im sure you know that. The doctor may not have meant any harm or was just concerned about carrying out the IVF procedure without really caring about the consequences of the fibroid. I went to see my doc tday and complained my bump was too big and after a physical exam he says my bump is ok for about 16weeks....and I remembered how I was told on that same bed 3years ago that the fibroids I had measured about 16weeks. Mostly submucosal, so much so that they completely blocked both of my fallopian tubes as revealed by a pre-surgery HSG. That doesn't mean that I haven't heard about women who are pregnant and have fibroids. You should all remember that this is someone's personal experience and the fact that you had a different experience doesn't mean she's lying or just trying to pull him down. haddyza:Hopefully I won't get attacked on my review of regenesis. Unfortunately our fertility clinics in Nigeria are not interested in helping couples try naturally for pregnancy. The clinic I was working with and was planning to use for IVF this April tells you they are more interested in making you pregnant naturally and without consultation fees, you get email correspondence with them and they explore all options before going IVF route. I thank God I got in touch with them and after a simple infection test and antibiotics treatment, I did achieve a natural pregnancy. |
ebony13:Thanks dear. God is indeed faithful. |
sugah: sugah: peterian:I need to uncross my fingers, its beginning to pain me ![]() You are definitely preggers. I had all that you have described so far. |
peterian:You've missed your period since and you are still fearing to go get confirmation? Na wa for you o. Anyways, its safe to say congratulations on your pregnancy. Ensure you are taking your folic acid. |
My 'almost' experience with The Bridge. Sent an email to enquires @bridge to ask for the price of their IUI in December 2015. I got a reply saying IVF would be best for me Less than a week later I found out I was pregnant! Thanks DonaTee, God has already compensated me. |
Orente21:Your result isnt quite clear. Right follicle is 50mm (mature follicle size from 18-30mm). Its outgrown its maturity and would be referred to a cyst. Left follicle not sure what you wrote. If its 17mm, then there's a chance of ovulation occurring soon. |
Peterian, sore boobs=progesterone surge. Its either PMS(signalling start of another cycle) or early preggy symptoms. Fingers crossed for you. |
I believe this thread was created for people to share personal experience, help intending mothers going for different procedures prepare and make informed decisions. Personal experience, when looking for a place to do an IUI, regenesis got the most success review and I went with them. Nobody mentioned how grossly unprofessional they were. Although id admit God is the giver of children and it doesn't matter how unprofessional or professional the doctors are.....but at a point I had to remind the doctor what I was there for cos he forgot I was doing an IUI not IVF. Maybe if I had achieved pregnancy I would have overlooked how loud and uncout his 2 ground staff were... Always talking loudly on the phone in igbo on calls, or how they never had a hand wash soap in their restroom (had to tell them several times but nothing was done). Maybe If he did not tell me I had miscarried when I called to complain of thick blood clots following the failed cycle, I would have overlooked his incompetence...it was mamas here that explained the clot was as a result of the injectables I had taken Only for me to come here some days later to read the guy was even banned from practicing in canada |
^^^^ LOL ![]() |
Congrats maureenslyvia and ramcie. May God bless and protect your LOs. |
BritneyStacy:If bolded is the case, then im definitely team September. I don't know my LMP and my first scan was around 6/7 weeks and that put me in August. I haven't done another scan since then but id see if my EDD moves back to September. August mamas don too much already na, leave my members for me ![]() |
PresVA:LMP is more accurate (I think) if you know your LMP.But if you don't know your LMP, your first scan is more accurate than the subsequent scans. |
Really bad design. Dining room in-between two toilets. And 2 toilets opening into the sitting room. You need to change your design first before worrying about the quotation. |
limsycutey:I thought they say first scan is the most accurate? You cannot just exit our team like that. You have to wet the ground first mbok. |
Pweetiebabe:Just slightly high prolactin. You can use parlodel or dostinex or go natural with cabbage or ewedu with vit b6. Ensure you do the day 21 test as well to check if the cycle was ovulatory. |
Vanny2:Amen. I wish you same |
Mowojuoluwa:If your dh isnt in support of doing a cerclage maybe you both need to seek second opinion. But im quite certain the other doctor would recommend same..and maybe that would help convince your dh. Pregnacare max supercedes the plus range as it contains calcium and omega 3. I take pregnacare max at the moment even though im planning to change to the regular folic acid, b complex, iron calcium and omega 3 tablets. (Just because of the size of the pregnacare tablets and maybe the cost). |
Vanny2:Fvine pls help with this. Unfortunately I do not know how to give detailed response like you do. Vanny2 we might need to know the LH and FSH values. Were they too high or too low? Did you do the test on a stimulated cycle? (Did you take clomid the cycle you tested?) |
MamaOO:Done. Abeg send the dues to me o. But I only accept pan sterling |
Fvine:Cc favouredestiny. God bless you fvine. I was going to say same thing. Did you do any scans prior to cd12? If no, then you don't have sufficient proof to rule the cycle anovulatory. You might have already released the eggs prior to your scan. Next cycle you have to start your scan earlier say cd6,then from there the sonographer would tell you when to come for the next one depending on the size of follicles seen on that day. |
Vanny2:Are you using both drugs together? I believe they have similar uses (balancing hormones). |
Chili89:My dear, if not that my HMO insisted on 13weeks for ANC I would have registered at 8weeks. My gynae said ANC registration should be from 8weeks. |
Blessedmum:Pele dear, two weeks would soon pass and you would be back to your normal self. Hope your doctor is still monitoring you though, even if you have not registered for ANC. |
AdaEkube:Chimoo! Ndo oo. I saw your name when you commented and assumed it was already there. Updating list sharperly |
Chili89:Aren't you a ftm? Any particular reason why you are waiting for 16weeks? |
Teal:Not sure how I forgot to add you. Abeg no vex. The heat is not funny o, but hopefully the rains would be here soon. |
