Hello dear, the pharmacist I went to recommended both drugs so I did take both together. Although I did not buy the xenical brand, the pharmacy did not have that because it was more expensive. They had Ecoslim, its a brand of orlistat but cheaper. They sold it for 3,500 per pack and I took 1 morning and 1 evening. Fat burner was 3 times daily (cant remember if it was 1 or 2 caps, pls check the bottle).


Meanwhile lemme warn you incase they don't at the pharmacy, that drugs can sabi embarrass person ooooo. It takes a few days for you to see the effect of the drugs...when it starts breaking down the fat in your body, you pass it out in your faeces as oil..so you would always have oil stains in your toilet with your faeces and on your panties too when you fart

Sugah dear, although some took stuff and got preggy, some truly only prayed and got pregnant. The way it would work for A, might not be the way it would work for B. How's lo doing?

Of course that's not what im saying. I said God answers us at His time not minding what we are doing at that time. Weather praying or not, we would not all have same testimonies.
Just like I won't tell someone not to bother wasting time praying and just take 'what worked for me', I would not also tell another not to waste his time taking supplements cos 'only prayers worked for someother'.

Personally when I used to read WIDD and the person says 'all I did this cycle was fast and pray or I went for so camp' I used to ask myself if I wasn't praying hard enough for God to answer my prayers. Fortunately for me I used to voice my concerns to my DH who is even more spiritually grounded than I am and he never failed to remind me that even atheists get pregnant.

On your uterine lining, the estrogen your doctor gave you would take care of that, worry not.

So i started out with a detox/colon cleanse
-squeeze lemon in warm water and drink first thing in the morning
-my detox juice (i bought a juicer) contents were -celery, apple, cucumber, green pepper, (parsley occassionally),lemon and ginger root. i drink this right after the lemon water
-swedish bitters mixed in water i took all through the day
-also got dulcolax (laxative), took that for 3 days.
-the plan was to continue with living bitters after the swedish bitters finishes cos i had just started my period when i started the detox and living bitters was not recommended for women in their period. I bought living bitters, took 1 spoon and trashed the damn thing! that shii is bitter!!!!!!!

Typical meal plan was: Breakfast- 2 eggs
Lunch- moi moi or grilled chicken and steamed vegetables
Dinner- chicken peppersoup, vegetable soup with little oil or just lots of watermelon
snack in between meals, fruits or nuts. Lots of water all through the day

Exercise routine: started out slow initially ..started with 30mins everyday but ended up doing 2 hours in the gym 4 or 5 times a week. 1hr cardio and 1 hr weight training. Best way to stay disciplined is to find someone to workout with...it helps with motivation

My pharmacists also added some drugs. A brand of orlistat (Ecoslim or Xenical) and fat burner supplement (it contains inositol and vitamin B6 which is wonderful for women with PCOS). Orlistat is prescribed for obese people, it breaks down the fat and you pass it out as oil in your stool. so you see oil in your faeces, that kind of discourages you from eating meals that are cooked with red oil (at least it did that to me )

That's what I used so id recommend that.

Rukkington....ovulation (the release of a mature egg) only occurs for 1day. And the egg only lives for maximum of 48hours.
What they are trying to say is that there is what is referred to as a fertile period which is some days before and after your ovulation. This is because the sperm can live in a non hostile environment uterus for upto 5days. So if you have sex before your ovulation day the sperm stays and waits for the egg to be released and goes ahead to fertilize it.
One of the ways to know when you have ovulated is if you are tracking your basal body temperature (please read it up), you get a temp spike after you ovulate and the temperature remains high until you see your next period... But if you are pregnant the temp remains high and gets higher for much longer(reason why most women think they have malaria in early pregnancy)

Another way is if you are doing follicular tracking and you get confirmation of a ruptured follicle.

If you are one of the ones that get ovulation pain during ovulation,you can use that as well. You actually feel the pain on the day of your ovulation as the egg is being released.
So you Start taking the pineapple core after the day of ovulation.

Two options are, Mason fat burner (2100)...it contains inositol, choline, vitb6 amongst other things.
Fvine and I found that GNC pharmacy carries their own brand of inositol (powder 600mg 18k and tablets 500mg 4,900) and choline(3800).

Anovulatory cycle doesn't necessarily mean your cycle would be irregular. Some people have regular 28 day cycles but experience anovulatory cycles. What you have right now is irregular cycle/amenorrhea.
M2tone, fertilaid and omega369 all have same functions (hormone regulation) so taking them together is an overkill.

Good morning mamas in the house, have been following this topic for long now and I must say am impressed. I had etopic pregnancy and had a surgery to remove it. After that I didn't take in for long, went for HSG and was told I had adhesions, had a surgery again to remove it and still no BFP, I and hubby decided to go for IVF, I had another HSG done at MECURE and it showed my tubes were ok and uterus fine (pls note that the right tube was removed cos of the etopic) although the two docs i met told me the lining of my womb are thick for me to had adhesions, i was shshocked as well as hubby and d doc I am seeing. My question is since I have decided to go for IVF is there any test an supposed to run apart 4rm the ones I already did in d hospital am using now? (Syphilis, hep B &C, homornal assay, sperm) I have an itching down there that comes 1s in a while have done HVS in 3 labs and the results are good. What other way cacan I test for infection and I do I prepare my body for it?

As was rightly stated, its good to prepare your body ahead for IUI/IVF procedures.
I have some questions though.
-What is the clinic's plan for your thick uterine wall? Do they give implantation cuts to assist implantation?
-Are you privy to the results of your hormonal assay and your dh's SFA? If you are can you share that info?
-I know sometimes ectopic pregnancy is as a result of infections, have you and your dh had any proper antibiotics treatments?

Ok. Let me explain. I started the Vitex cos my period moved from 26days - 32 days, it wasn't regular. My husband is a doctor, so I started with Vitex and Omega this Monday. Tuesday brought cough and catarrh, so I used Vitamin C, then Lipton with lime. I only tested this evening cos my period is late... Thank you for the response

Phew! Ok. But vitex isnt good (I don't want to use the word safe so you don't get scared) for pregnancy....pls stop it. You should be on prenatals (folic acid and all). The cough and cattarrh may just be one of your pregnancy symptoms..i still occasionally have blocked sinuses as part of my package... But still consult with your doc on guidance.

Were you taking vitex before your bfp or you started taking vitex after bfp?
You are NOT meant to take vitex during pregnancy... Please confirm by reading the instructions on the bottle of the drugs.
But wait, vitex is not for cough and cattarh nah? You just gave me serious brain freeze. Abeg report to your doctor immediately!

It is generally advised to consult your doctor before ingesting drugs of any form cos we don't know what they would do to the LO.
