Your baby can see, hear, taste and feel the intimate world you have provided around him or her. Playing soothing music for your baby helps release endorphins that help baby relax.

In only the third month of your baby's life in the womb, his or her hearing is starting to develop fully. Around mid-term, you will begin to feel your baby's reaction to certain noises. You feel a kick or a poke when daddy is around, telling you he or she recognises that particular voice.

Loud noises can startle baby, so speak softly. This will help baby feel secure and safe in the environment your womb has created specifically for your baby's well being. Amniotic fluid muffles sound, so do not be concerned if you are put in a position where you are upset or shouting. Some researchers claim that normal emotions the mother experiences in day-to-day life, can help the unborn baby to adapt once born.

As far as light -- yes, your baby can see in the womb. Just as when we lie out in the sunlight, and close our eyes. You baby actually sees shades of red and orange in bright light. Around the fourth month, your baby may begin reacting to the light, by turning away or towards it.

A few things you can do to help baby adjust go as follows:

Your baby eats what you eat, and reacts as you react. Make an effort to keep baby calm by being calm yourself. Think positive and peaceful thoughts.
Stroke your belly, and speak softly to your baby. These months are very special, and you will never get them again with this particular baby, so make the most of it. Allow your partner to join in with this bonding process.
Move with ease. The movement you make as you take a slow walk, puts baby in a sleepy state. After he or she is born, the similar rocking motion will be used to put baby to sleep.

Good day all,

1.is black strap molases same as organic molasses? went to health plus and that's what they have, didn't buy though, wanted to confirm first
2.would the antibiotics protocol posted by sugah also take care of thick discharge?I am having same discharge as described by iomoge and she used diflucan for it and it never came bk.should I start the diflucan 1st ,then antibiotics protocol later?
NOTE:I did a HVS last month and was told I have a mild yeast infection
3.can antibiotics protocol be done while on other routine drugs like vit e and folic acid?
sorry for the long epistle biko,my people would say he who always ask questions never misses his way.
1..im not quite sure about bsm and organic molasses..other sabi mamas would answer that question for you..But my guess would be that its same.
2..The anitbiotics protocol i posted is very strong..strong enough to treat even Chlamydia (which is one of the infections they check for with the menstrual blood test. You would be taking a total of 3000mg of Azithromycin and over 11,000mg of doxycycline. it should take care of the discharge as bacterial load and bacterial vaginosis is among what they check for.
3..Yes you can take the antibiotics with your prenatal vitamins like vit e, folic acid et al...

AyaSunday:
First I apologize for quoting this long post but I had to draw Sugah's attention to it.
The OMEPRAZOLE, is it for daily use? Cos DH reacts too much to DOXYCYCLINE. infact, gynea prescribed 42days of doxycyline for both of us but since DEC last year till now, he hasn't been able to keep the capsules down in his tummy. We've tried him taking it many times. He has Ulcer, so I don't know if the OMEPRAZOLE will help and if it's daily?
He can't keep it down as in he throws up or has stomach upset? Yes he can take it if he has stomach upset everday.

42days? Wow, I thought 25 days was even too long.

Hello fruitful mama,
Hope you all had a lovely easter holiday. To the big belles how is the bumping.
Please I need your input. I have started using the omega 369 and I noticed that af came heavy as usual but without the clots I am believing that a good sign. Hubby got some gnld supplements ( maca and royal jelly), can I use them?
Haven't gone for the test, but hopefully next month, finances are very low for us now. I also want hubby and I to start the antibiotics for like a 2weeks. What do you all think.
I got quite busy after my last post.
I had to read your history.....
Have you started on your TTC plan you listed?

Not sure why you are on omega369 though? Do you have hormonal imbalance? Not all supplements are good for the body o.
I remember when I wanted to start ttc after my surgery, I had a clock-work 28day cycle after the surgery and decided to take EPO because I read about it. It messed my cycle up and who knows what else it did to my hormones?

Since you haven't done any tests yet, id advice you do the detox and antibiotics program....those can only help and not mess stuff up.

Water bottle: 1200 (dem even cheat me cos I bought it in a supermarket.... It was going for 800naira traffic hawkers)
Aba BYC singlet(flannel): 150 naira
Nylon bag: free shoprite nylon.
Towel: free.

I bought mine 400 naira for constipation. I didn't know it can help with fertility.....interesting.
I believe we have been preaching that here for a while now. Its the same castor oil, as long as its cold pressed and not the diluted ones Naturalistas use on their hair.
Costs between 400 and 700 naira depending on your location.

HealthRe: Trying To Conceive A Child? TTC by sugah: 1:27pm On Mar 28, 2016
@lolarde did you try to find out the name of these drugs from your doctor and he refused to reveal the names? If yes, he is just over-charging you for the drugs.

Some doctors these days treat with antibiotics first before fertility drugs, so I cant fault him on that.

There's no way we can accurately "guess" what drugs you are taking.... Maybe the doctors amongst us can help.
I can't imagine ingesting any drugs that I don't know the name and possible side effects.

Loisemm that's divine favor. Congratulations to you and your dh

HealthRe: Trying To Conceive A Child? TTC by sugah: 1:48pm On Mar 27, 2016
Chichungi91 and ayasunday as fvine has pointed out, most doctors tend to treat with antibiotics first cos there are lots of 'hidden' asymptomatic infections that cause infertility.

This is an exerpt from my IVF clinics website.....

[b]"We have seen many cases where treatment with antibiotics has resulted in pregnancy very quickly, despite many years of infertility, miscarriages or IVF failures.
Most doctors regard infections of the male or female genital tract as a problem only if they cause overt symptoms (like blockage of the fallopian tubes, fever, pain, discharge etc.). But there is growing evidence that infection-induced inflammation can cause damage to sperm, as well as a uterine lining that is not hospitable for an embryo, leading to failed implantation or early miscarriage.
Antibiotic treatment can improve the uterine environment for implantation; as well as significantly improve sperm quality in men with poor sperm parameters (even where we have not been able to identify a specific infection), leading to higher pregnancy rates.
Treating troublesome bacterial infections can reduce the risk and heartache of another failure; and in the case of donor treatment, helps to ensure that their efforts do not go to waste."

So i started out with a detox/colon cleanse
-squeeze lemon in warm water and drink first thing in the morning
-my detox juice (i bought a juicer) contents were -celery, apple, cucumber, green pepper, (parsley occassionally),lemon and ginger root. i drink this right after the lemon water
-swedish bitters mixed in water i took all through the day
-also got dulcolax (laxative), took that for 3 days.
-the plan was to continue with living bitters after the swedish bitters finishes cos i had just started my period when i started the detox and living bitters was not recommended for women in their period. I bought living bitters, took 1 spoon and trashed the damn thing! that shii is bitter!!!!!!!

Typical meal plan was: Breakfast- 2 eggs
Lunch- moi moi or grilled chicken and steamed vegetables
Dinner- chicken peppersoup, vegetable soup with little oil or just lots of watermelon
snack in between meals, fruits or nuts. Lots of water all through the day

Exercise routine: started out slow initially ..started with 30mins everyday but ended up doing 2 hours in the gym 4 or 5 times a week. 1hr cardio and 1 hr weight training. Best way to stay disciplined is to find someone to workout with...it helps with motivation

My pharmacists also added some drugs. A brand of orlistat (Ecoslim or Xenical) and fat burner supplement (it contains inositol and vitamin B6 which is wonderful for women with PCOS). Orlistat is prescribed for obese people, it breaks down the fat and you pass it out as oil in your stool. so you see oil in your faeces, that kind of discourages you from eating meals that are cooked with red oil (at least it did that to me grin )
Id just post the antibiotics prescription here for anyone who wants to do it.

INSTRUCTIONS ·
The treatment needs to be followed by both partners at the same time (please let us know if you are taking any other antibiotics)
· The antibiotics should be taken on empty stomach or after a meal.
· Alcohol intake should be avoided during treatment period.
· Keep upright position for at least 30 minutes after intake of DOXYCYCLINE and avoid taking it too late in the evening.
· Avoid intake of dairy products with or close to DOXYCYCLINE intake and limit exposure to sunlight because of possible photosensitivity reaction.

Day 1: Azithromycin tbs 250mg, [take 4 tablets altogether, total 1000mg]

Day 2: NOTHING

Day 3-7: Doxycycline tbs 100mg, [one tablet in the morning and one in the evening]

Amen my sister. We did our 7th year wedding anniversary last month. But I believe He will make all things beautiful in His time. Just that it's really painful
Sorry dear about the failed procedure, having gone through the same thing I can tell you it hurts....especially when your doctor cannot even tell you why it failed. At least you where in the know about the thin uterine lining. I have read your history you have posted so far and I see its majorly a male issue for you guys except for the harshness of clomid on your uterine lining.
My advice to you is not to rush into another procedure immediately, im sure the hospital told you to do another procedure immediately.... They are more concerned about your money and to quickly move you on to IVF stage.
Please take time to prepare your bodies for the procedure. Do a detox and antibiotics treatment... The antibiotics might help further improve your dh's numbers.
To improve your ovarian reserve you use dhea, coQ10 and Vit E.
Substitute clomid for soy isoflavone, tamoxifen or letrozole.
You can start the detox as soon as AF shows up.
Baby dust to all.
HealthRe: Trying To Conceive A Child? TTC by sugah:

Thanks praiseworks.
What you can do is to gradually reduce your intake of carbs...you can start by substituting white carbs for browns..like brown rice instead of white, brown bread, brown spaghetti, plantain flour for eba.. etc

Substitute full cream milk with skimmed milk.
Do a portion control.. You can eat 5times a day, but small portions. And make sure the vegetables are larger portion than carbs.
Snack on fruits and unsalted nuts like almond etc.
And don't forget to exercise... Start small and move up with time.

Maureensylvia my SIL had same issue o. Her kind of fart can wake a dead body and she couldn't control it. Her baby sat on a nerve while she was pregnant and the thing just continued even till the last time I saw her when the baby was turning 2years..
I hope that is not the case for you.
