TravelRe: Give Birth In USA: Cost And Procedure? by sugah: 7:09pm On Mar 02, 2015
@dere5 and Nkem234 they might know its for the pali but what they have not realized yet is that soon the population of blacks to white would be at par or even a higher ratio black to white. Then the whites would become a minority and a blackman being the president now might be the least of their worries.

Na wa for all these women o. What if the person that asked is just a mole from the US embassy to find out why Nigerians want to birth in the US? (after telling your VO its because of better medicals for you and your LO). See people shouting future president.

Oga/madam,
Am black and not a racist, if u feel I write those to down grade my people den u got me wrong.

Am a regular traveler.
The Bristow helipad I use often and I travel from all part of the country to various locations.
Am a service hand and I travel from eket, agip base in ph or naval base or lagos.

I see some few black or Nigerians dia but I still maintain that I wish her well.

But they need to build dia confidence, it's actually auto pilot always and I ve seen some cheerful guys giving them a chance to do the work while dey exchange paper. I watch dem and am even glade Nigerians re given a chance to par take.

Am not a racist
Please take note.
So you've gone from doing only paperwork to autopilot only? Please be consistent with your self deceit.

You claim you are not racist (i beg to differ) but you do have a 'blackman mentality '. You think you have no self worth...what a 'whiteman' can do, a blackman cant possibly do it..
You say they should build their confidence..... Why do you think they don't have confidence? Cos they fly with autopilot? All pilots fly autopilot for long flights, it reduces the workload. If you are not busy praying during your next flight, you'd observe takeoffs and landings are flown by the pilot.

P.s. 95% of the Nigerians you see have university degrees, the reverse is the case for the foreigners.

Lmao, no, na ur own village.
Am just talking from experience dear, u barely see blacks dia, it's a British firm and u barely see black, wen dey re dia, dey re always doing paperwork.
Ok, I really wish her well.
I am talking from experience and not hear say
Its an American company and although the ratio of foreigners to locals isnt at par, there is an increase in local pilots in the company and in Nigeria.

Im guessing your experience was 1 flight and thats enough to make conclusions and some albeit ignorant observations.... Check google and you'll know that helicopters Vibrate.
No she isn't the greatest, she is the FIRST FEMALE in the HELICOPTER industry in Nigeria to achieve this feat. Is that too hard to understand?

P.s. On a 2crew flight, 1 person flies while the other does radios and paperwork....irrespective of the colour of their skin or gender

I know her, she have flown me to various offshore locations from brirstow base in Agip base ph and from naval base. Mind u, none of them (blacks) fly, dey re always two pilots, one white doing d navigation, and d black doing a paper work. She's simple tho, just cute to admire wen she waves. I pray she now pilots as said but wen dey re be allowed to do so,I do experience a Lotta vibrations on d air plane. God bless Nigeria.
Uhmmmm so when there are two 'black' people in the cockpit during a flight, who flies the aircraft? Your village witches?

Chinyere Kalu flies aeroplanes; and, she's been flying aeroplanes for over 35 years now!
See: http://www.thisdaylive.com/articles/i-feel-good-flying-for-35-years-says-captain-kalu/162050/
Ok....so if you know she flies airplanes (and im assuming that you have spent your time online wisely by asking our dear friend Google about the aircraft types), why are you contesting AB is the first female nigerian helicopter captain?
From your post above i can confidently conclude you need someone to sit with you and explain the intricacies of aviation
Christianity EtcRe: Stop Financing Pastor's Extravagant Lifestyle With Your Tithe! by sugah: 1:35pm On Jan 18, 2015
Tithe is a sensitive subject in Nigeria because most 'christians' (pastor/GO worshippers) listen to thier preachers but fail to read the bible.

The old testaments have many mentions of tithes especially Malachi 3:10 (the favourite quote) but so far i have only seen 1 mention of tithe in the new testament Matthew 23:23 How terrible for you, teachers of the law....you give to God a tenth of the seasoning herbs.....but you neglect to obey the really important teachings of the law such as justice and mercy and honesty...

Also in the new testament, Jesus told the rich man to sell all his possessions and give the proceeds to the poor. Mathew 19:16-22

So my opinion, do what you think is right. But let your decision come from the truth..what is the truth? The BIBLE not what your pastor says.

Mathew 23 is a good read for all ye worshippers of men.

Nigerians keep propagating unsubstantiated stories. I know this last, I know Bristow pilots, I know the Nigerian aviation industry and this last right here is definitely not the first Nigerian helicopter captain. We really need to give ourselves some brain here...
Yes we do need to give ourselves brain. And learn to read to.

And your point is?
Use Google if you aren't sure of what/ who a helicopter "Captain" is.

She is not the first female helicopter pilot, she is not the only female helicopter pilot but she is the first nigerian female helicopter pilot to become a Captain.

Flown by other female helicopter pilots, true..there are 7 Nigerian females in the helicopter biz
Older? Maybe not.
The key word is "Captain". She is the first Nigerian female Helicopter captain

She is the first female to become a helicopter commander (Captain).
She was slso the first female to scale through the Bristow cadet pilot scholarship training.

HealthRe: The First Ebola Patient In US Is Dead by sugah: 7:57pm On Oct 10, 2014
PapiWata:
Not so much hate, as utter disgust. This man had NO business visiting Liberia at the very height of this epidemic. Embarking on such a trip alone stands as eloquent testimony to the sheer arrogance of the man, who perhaps thought that his affected pseudo-American accent would give him immunity from a rampaging, easily transmitted disease. Not to worry, Mr. Dickead is making himself comfortable in hell right now, and he will be missed by NOBODY of any consequence.

It is indeed a fascinating study of human character, to recall the torrent of curses and invective directed by Nigerian writers in this forum, at the Liberian who first took Ebola to Nigeria, yet now, another bio-terrorist who did PRECISELY the same thing to the USA is pitied and spoken of in reverential tones by Nigerian writers here, as though it is fine for the USA to get infected by ANY means possible, yet SINFUL for Nigeria to suffer a similar fate.

I am WAY past caring what hypocrites think about my take on contemporary reality. If you don't like it, then don't read it and if you do read it and hate the points made, then don't respond to it, since I could not give a flying phuck what you or anyone else with thinks, in that double-standard mode that is sadly so common up in here.
I understand your disgust.

I am hoping you are not the typical American (ignorant; not your fault though, most of you only watch CNN America hence do not know what happens in the rest of the world) and have gotten more information about both cases of Duncan and Sawyerr.

Let me highlight the subtle differences between both victims (Bio terrorists as you have described them).
--->Patrick Sawyerr came in contact with confirmed ebola death victim. His sister had just died from the disease and he announced the death himself. So he knew he had ebola before departing Liberia and he was already symptomatic when he arrived lagos.
--->His wife confirmed he had deliberately traveled to Nigeria to get better treatment but even while at the hospital he denied having contact with any victims of the deadly disease. Imagine how many lives would have been saved (including his most likely) if he had been truthful
--->He demanded to be released from the hospital to go for an ECOWAS conference in calabar. This was even after his symptoms had gotten worse.
Sawyerr was dead before Nigerians got word of him being in Nigeria and judging by his actions it is safe to say that Sawyerr had already condemned himself to die and did not want to go down alone..hence his insistence on going for a conference even when he was symptomatic and highly contagious.

--->Thomas Duncan on the other hand sought treatment 5days after he arrived the US. He confessed he had travelled from the Ebola ravaged Liberia.
--->Report says he came in contact with and helped a pregnant woman. There were no indications that he knew he came in contact with an Ebola victim.
--->His family says he only just showed up in the US to meet his family (not returning from Vacation like you said)
Duncan passes off as one who wanted to live, not just spread a deadly disease.

Although i must add that most Nigerians living in Nigeria have selective amnesia (you wont blame us, we have too many issues plaguing us), we have quickly forgotten how angry we were when we learnt of Sawyerr. But they probably are sympathetic to Duncan because they know America had the cure for Ebola and could have saved Duncans life, and maybe also happy it got to the US because Obama refused to give Nigeria the experimental drug 'Zmapp' to save the lives of our courageous doctors.

PoliticsRe: NNPC Aircraft Overshoots Runway At Osubi Airport by sugah: 12:23am On Feb 09, 2013
1forall: The question Nigerians should be asking is:
What is the NNPC doing owning aircraft in the first place?

I would further ask:
Are the costs of purchasing and maintaining aircraft budgeted for the NNPC in the Ministry of Petroleum's budget?

If this near mishap didn't occur how many people would know the NNPC owns aircraft?

We know the who the plane belongs to they should stop trying to deceive people that its NNPC property.
Shell/Exxonmobil owns aircrafts too. NNPC manages/maintains the aircrafts same way the other companies do.
