Politics / Re: Senate Walks Out Hammed Ali, Customs Comptroller General For Not Wearing Uniform by Sugardiva(f): 2:45pm On Mar 16, 2017 |
hardbody:Then you miss the point entirely. The issue is not the uniform per se, its his disregard for constituted authority and institutions. If he gets away with disobeying a direct request to wear his uniform from the senate then everyone will feel like they can get away with disregarding the senate. The senate then looses its power. He gives orders and expects to be obeyed but he cant take a simple one? Besides the leader of a uniform organisation should not go around in mufti. His uniform is his symbol of authority. If he feels the uniform is beneath him, he should resign. |
Family / Re: Family Petitions FG Over Polish Man’s Cremation Of Nigerian Wife by Sugardiva(f): 10:40am On Feb 09, 2017 |
eyinjuege: There is nowhere in the report that states she was suffering under a terminal disease. Please do not misinform. Why is her family quering her death? Let me give you a few reasons. 1. She DID die under suspicious circumstances. The report says she was hale and hearty as at the last phone conversation with her family days before her death. Her hsuband says an accident occured and she died. The nature of the accident, illness and medical care she receieved was not disclosed. 2. Her husband went ahead to cremate not just bury her forestalling permanently any chance of an autopsy being carried out. Although he may be her next of kin it is wrong for him and disrepectful to his late wife to bury her in the absence of her family who were making pland to attend her funeral. 3. It is unreasonable to tell a family to move on from the death of a daughter who's death is still a mystery. How can the family find closure when they could not even see a body? The act of seeing a loved ones dead body and actually burying same is a fundamental part of tge grieving and healing process cos it brings closure. For those asking why is the family petitioning the FG, for heaven sakes she is a citizen of Nigeria in a foreign land. Of course the FG should be concerned abt her well being. Nigerians are so base they do not even know the benefits of being a citizen and that FG should aleays play a big brother role for its citizns abroad even if tgey are illegal migrants etc |

Politics / Re: Buhari’s Integrity Increases Power Supply, Says APC: Punch by Sugardiva(f): 8:53am On Aug 21, 2015 |
MizMyColi: Dont mind them. Are they really so naive and gullible to think that a problem like Nigeria's power problem can be solved overnight? Its laughable Goodluck set structures on ground. In my state a huge power plant was built within the last 2 years of GEJ tenure. Power improved in my area since the beginning of this year. We began to have 18 to 20 hours of electricity supply daily and they expect me to thank Buhari for that? Not on their lives. Buhari we know the achievements of GEJ. U cannot fool us. Go and make ur own impact let us see. Chibok girls are still out there, boko still on rampage, the naira is still nose diving etc. There are so many sevtors to show what ure made of. Get working. Unless he wanna tell us he has seen that the job of president na only for mouth e dey easy. 6 Likes 3 Shares |

Politics / Re: Top Five Safest States To Live In Nigeria by Sugardiva(f): 12:07pm On Jul 07, 2015 |
TheSonOfMark: Already getting aggressive huh? U would be attacking me with a machete by now if u were to see me I'm sure. Akwa ibom and it's people suffer from a severe case of inferiority complex around its big brother cross river. I wonder why because AKS is right now richer and arguably more developed. Yet AKS is always comparing itself to CRS trying to meet up. I guess what they say is true, money can't buy class. BTW ur foolish assumption that I live in Uyo is laughable. I am not like akwa ibomites who flood our city because u are running away from the witchcraft of urs. Any safety or infrastructural development uyo may have to offer is negated by the wickedness of its people. I live in Cally where the land is green. COME AND LIVE AND BE AT REST.. CALABAR didn't earn that acronym for nothing. #lastreply |
Politics / Re: Top Five Safest States To Live In Nigeria by Sugardiva(f): 9:06pm On Jul 06, 2015 |
TheSonOfMark: My dear Uyo can never be safer than cally. Calabar is safe. In Uyo u will rent house and your landlord witchcraft will pursue u. There might be no robbery n much kidnapping but the witchcraft is just too much. You can never know who is who. Even buying stuff in the market is prayer point for it to be jazz free. The people are very unfriendly, always squeezing their face as if you are the cause of their problems in life. Annoy an akwa ibom man and the first thing he will do is bring out cutlass. Even if it is a slight annoyance. Calabar people are open friendly and are not given much to withcraft. Cally's only security challenge is the sColombo boys and we all know they migrated from uyo judging from their thick ibibio accents. Abeg nor dry deceive people online. CALABAR IS SAFER THAN UYO BY FAR. |

jaybee3: I am open minded. As a matter of fact there are some I wish I could develop feelings for. They are young, intelligent bla bla bla. If I were simply after money I would have said yes a long time ago cos they are a bit financially stable. But like I said the emotions are not just developing. I put in a lot of effort to spend time with them to try and trigger it but yet nothing. If they don't call me, it takes me 5 days to a week to notice they haven't called. Some of them are just plain boring to put it lightly. The thing is I've had a great connection with the exes. It usually starts with a deep friendship and then evolves into something more often so quickly that I don't even know when it happens. I've known what it feels like to really connect with someone in both my previous relationships. Be the best of friends and companions and have feelings. I am over my exes and am not comparing or expecting anyone to be like them. The only thing that I am confused about is that can this connection and companionship grow with these 'suitors'. Is it right to say yes to someone who does not hold ur attention? And keep waiting to experience connectiin? |
Family / Re: When The Wrong One Loves You Right!!! by Sugardiva(f): 5:54pm On Jun 29, 2015 |
jaybee3: I don't think that this is what the OP meant. I think she means should she agree to date a guy she has known for more than 2 years who is caring and shows her love but she doesn't feel anything for? I understand her because sometimes i wonder the same thing. I have a number of 'suitors' who check all the right boxes according to ur list. Have potential, aligned faith, same values etc but no matter how much time I try to spend with them I don't get any feeling. No emotions at all beyond maybe friendship. And I'm not in a serious relationship. The question is do u go ahead and date someone u have absolutely no feelings for just because he checks all the right boxes and treats u right? Will it work out? 1 Like |

Politics / Re: Cross River State Gov. Prof. Ben Ayade Pays June Salary On The 25th Of June! by Sugardiva(f): 12:27pm On Jun 29, 2015 |
tpiadotcom: CRS Fed allocation per month is about 2 billion or so, IGR per month is 1. 2 billion on a good month and there are no viable industries except for the coco plantations in ogoja and ikom and the stones in akampka. These industries have not been harnessed to even 1/10 capacity and then some uninformed graph on the internet says CRS is one of the best economies in the country? I was born in, I live in and work for Cross River State. I know Cross River State. Unverified graphs and statistics are easy to draw. The internet is free enough for that and I guess knowledge is a choice. Like I said before research more and keep urself currently informed before commenting. #lastreply

tpiadotcom: My dear what I'm saying is common enough knowledge. This thread I created is to commend the Govenor for attempting to pay timeously despite the financial constraints the state is faced with. If you are contesting the fact that CRS is not a financially challenged state presently then I would say that you should research more and keep up with current affairs. That's all the enlightenment I can offer. Anyway I commend ur eyesight. U are seeing into the future when CRS will be one of the richest and greatest states in this country. It's gonna happen soon 1 Like |

tpiadotcom: My dear these days correct and current information is as cheap as the internet to come by. Please avail yourself before commenting. The Supreme Court ruled in favor of Akwa Ibom State and the 76 oil wells were never returned to CRS. The state is no longer considered an oil producing state for more than 3years now. CRS FAC allocation is number 23 on the list in terms of amount given. The state economy is purely run on IGR, tourism and a bit of agriculture. |

While other states are grappling with inability to pay salaries, CRS the pacesetter state leads the way once again. Despite being one of the poorest state on FAC allocation, our new Govenor has kept one of his prominent campaign promises to pay salaries of workers on the 25th of every month. Kudos to Sen. Prof. Ben Ayade. Cc: lalastica. Front page pls. Let people know that at least some states are working. Thanks 6 Likes 1 Share |
