TooNoisy: NNPP is ten times bigger than LP. Did you watch their convention? It was massive. It has now become the home of Northern politicians who are disgruntled in APC and PDP. They have real supporters and a real movement. They are also very well funded. Kwankwaso is on ground and has lots of big wig politicians supporting him.
LP is not even a party. They cannot even find a Northern politician to field as running mate even if it is a placeholder. Their supporters are day dreamers who know nothing about politics.
Peter Obi should eat humble pie and accept to the Kwankwaso's VP. Thats his best chance now since Okowa is already Atiku's VP Peter Obi will commit political suicide if he accepts the NNPP VP, it will be his end and may end any hope of an Igbo man or woman leading Nigeria. |

Even my sister in the US, has been telling me that once she gets old, she will come back to Nigeria to spend the remainder of her life. Folks abroad, what's really going on? Is there a harsh reality for the aged over there? Your pension goes further in Nigeria, the West. In the UK the government Pension is around £10,000 per annum. If you also have a private pension that pays an additional £10,000 per annum a £300,000 house. Your sister's annual pension will ensure that she can own a nice home in Nigeria, employ four servants and cleaners to look after with her pension. |

Reno Omokri is not in the position to complain about cyber bullying and threat to his family. He has done more slandering and cyber bullying than anyone on social media. Broke and wretched Nigerian girls he always attack online can attest to this. Just yesterday, he apologized to Tinubu for cyber bullying him about his ill health.

I like Peter Obi truly for his past achievements and boldness but sentiments apart Nigeria needs someone like Asiwaju Bola tinubu that understands this country better and our prayer is that God should not let him disappoint us like buhari did because he has all it takes to make this country work than any other aspirants as naija is concerned. If you don't believe me take a godly and sincere man to lead a corrupt organisation and see if he would be able to do anything when they frustrate all his efforts, that's the case of Peter Obi.

You need the license and authority for port operation. Customs, NPA, etc. will be moved to ports. It is not just a state government task. Lekki Port is not owned by the Federal government. The planned port in Akwa Ibom and Ondo are not owned by the federal government. Nothing is stopping the states from engaging investors to develop private ports to support industry and development. |

And not only limited to very few goods. What is stopping the South-South from developing their ports? Lagos is building a second port in Lekki. The SS have four ports that are under-utilised (Onne, Calabar, Warri and PH) and the potential The issue of Lagos overpopulation has nothing to do with ports but safety and opportunities. Lagos is a safe city, there is security in numbers, Large population mean more business opportunities. Insecurity and underdevelopment is driving Nigerians to Lagos, the is an unsustainable development model. |

Look, may be in the US and the West they will have to chance to expound their ideas and gain public support.

wirinet: You are only being emotional instead of logical. The word Yoruba is a relatively new term. The people grouped as Yoruba today started as various diverse ethnic groups like Oyo, egba, Egun, Ife, etc. The part that comprised Lagos was inhabited by the Ijebus, the Eguns, the Aworis and the Edos ( who created the first monarchy).
Lagos was not politically under the Westen Region during the first Republic. Even in the third and fourth Republic, Lagos has been clamouring for a special status. I doubt Lagos would want to be subservient to a political South West region except of course political power (Capital) resides in Lagos. I haven't got time to educate you, but Lagos was political under the SW in the 1960s, the Federal government-controlled Ikoyi, Victoria Island, Apapa port and some parts of Lagos Island. The majority of Lagos state with its capital in Ikeja was part of the old Western region this including Suru-Lere, Ikorudu, Epe, Agege , Mushin etc |

wirinet: Believe me, if the SW becomes and independent entity, Lagos will not agree to be under it. Lagos would demand an independent or special status. Lagos is Yoruba land, led by Yoruba leaders for hundreds of years. Lagos's economy cannot survive without the support of the surrounding Yoruba economies, the city is expanding into Ogun state and Oyo states with the introduction of express roads and modern railways. The Lekki Port will integrate and expand industrial development into Ondo/Ogun. I laugh at my Igbo brothers, that try and influence an independent Lagos and wonder why Yoruba's refuse to support their interest in Nigeria. |
