Is obi more influential than him

Obi just knew he wants to be president of nigeria in 2022 and election is 2023

Moghalu has been involved since 2019

If you are not an apc disguise use your brain
Kingsley Moghalu might have the best qualification in the world, but his failure to understand the Nigerian political terrain is very disappointing, he wants to be the president of one of the most corrupt and poorest countries in the world by campaigning for 6 months.

The man is not serious about politics. Tinubu, Atiku, and Buhari are full-time politicians, who are in daily contact with the movers and shakers in Nigerian politics, they might be very corrupt and inept, but they understand the Nigerian terrain.

Rubbish, the oil price is at its oil time high, so why isn't Nigeria experiencing any growth. Any country that has arable land for agriculture and the 9th largest oil reserve in the world should be experiencing on average 8% growth rate. Buhari and APC are just hopeless at everything.

What if Proffesor Yemi Osinbajo comes out as independent candidate?

History has shown that indirect primaries in Nigeria have never produced candidates who truly have the interest of Nigerians at heart and we can no longer put the future of our children in the hands of these old inept recycled politicians.

I still believe in Proffesor Osinbajo and there is a provision for independent candidacy in our constitution.

I am convinced that this will be a viable path at this juncture, an option worth exploring.
Osinbajo did nothing and said nothing at crucial times because he wanted to protect his presidential ambition. Well, the ambition is now dead and his political career is now terminal. When he goes to bed tonight, I hope he asks himself whether it was worth it.

Reno truly shows his true character
He picked people that have invested in political infrastructures, Atiku and Tinubu have built their political based from the 1990s, yes they are corrupt and people, but you cannot displace them working in a political structure that they created. Peter Obi should have returned to Apga and Osiboy should have joined SDP.

I’ve seen some comment from some Yorubas saying they won’t vote for a northerner again, they always starts making the elections as North vs South and later start blaming northerners for voting based on tribe and region when we support our own!!

Find a new way to sell your Candidate not by making the election a war between northerners and southerners!!

You can’t use this and expect to beat the most populous region in the country...

Even if a Southerner is going to emerge... It's never going to be Tinubu!!

We are watching... I only pity northeners still living in south at this critical time!!

Rip to those who lost their lives!!
There is no doubt that Nigerian politicians are behind this and I will not be surprised to find Tinubu hand in this attack.

The North successfully used Boko Haram and insecurity to undermine GEJ government to the point of being unelectable. From 2008 to 2010 the Niger Delta militant was very active until Yaradua settled them and GEJ was compensated with the VP and Presidency

Extreme violence and politics are the new standards in Nigeria, if Tinubu is not selected as the APC candidate, expect a wave of extreme violence across the SW.

Nigerian politicians don't care about Nigerians.

They only ran away when IPOB opened a new page for them..You don't weep with the fulani, you don't beg them too! You don't try to preach to their conscience, they have none! What you do to the fulanis is to meet them with bigger Evil. They only run back when they see that you cut off hands and heads the same way they do. Very simple! You see how they run from ESN these days?

They are used to killing without reply and they are now running amok! This attack in Ondo State was carefully planned because of this governor! He championed Amotekun and he headed the Southern governors call for power shift! The Fulani whose grandfathers arrived here killing at will, are always of the opinion that killing is the best way to live. They're proud of their violent pedigree. They just wanted to shake the governor with some violence. The fulani will NEVER stop until we stop them! You can only stop the fulani by being tough and ruthless with them not by crying.
Well said

Weeping is a sign of hopelessness. The SW is being led by idiots from Tinubu to Osinbajo. The South require leaders that will confront the North

There is a majority southern consensus that it is not yoruba's turn to rule. And their poisonous words against other southerns have not helped their cause. cheesy
It's anyone's turn to rule.

The Igbo cannot expect power without investing in strategy to obtain power.

Claiming that it is their turn to rule is not a strategy but arrogance and ignorant.

I have yet to see any Igbo presidential aspirants visit the SW to campaign on what they will do for the Yoruba, it seems that they think that they can take the SW support for granted.

The North has ruled Nigeria for the best part of 70% of it's and returned abject poverty to their region.

African Union warns of ‘collateral impact’ as EU’s Russia sanctions hit food supplies
Developing nations say ban on Swift payment system for Russian banks impedes purchases of grain and fertiliser

Western sanctions on Russian banks have made it difficult or impossible for African countries to buy grain from Russia to help solve a global food crisis triggered by the invasion of Ukraine, the head of the African Union has told EU leaders.

Macky Sall, Senegal’s president, made the complaint by videoconference at an EU summit on Tuesday, the latest sign of concern in developing countries about the economic and humanitarian impact of the Ukraine war and the surge in energy and food prices that has been exacerbated by sanctions aimed at Moscow.

“Our countries are very worried about the collateral impact of the disruptions caused by blocking the Swift payment system as a result of sanctions,” Sall said. He was speaking after the EU endorsed a sixth package of sanctions that will curb 90 per cent of Russian oil imports to the EU and added Sberbank to the list of Russian banks excluded from the Swift messaging system for financial transfers.

“When the Swift system is disrupted, it means that even if produce exists, payment for it becomes difficult or even impossible,” Sall said. “I would like to insist that this question be examined as soon as possible by our relevant ministers to find suitable solutions.”

Russia and Ukraine are among the world’s biggest grain exporters, and about 20mn tonnes of wheat are stranded and awaiting shipment from the Black Sea port of Odesa because of a Russian naval blockade of the Ukrainian coast.

Faced with complaints by Sall and other African governments about the difficulties of importing grain and fertiliser from Russia, EU leaders have laid the blame squarely on Russian president Vladimir Putin while simultaneously trying to arrange the export of Ukrainian wheat stocks by sea or overland.

“The fact that there is a severe food crisis developing is only the fault of Russia’s unjustified war,” European Commission president Ursula von der Leyen said at the conclusion of the summit, noting that there were no EU sanctions on Russian exports of food or fertiliser.

Olaf Scholz, German chancellor, said: “There are many stories that are a distraction from Russia’s war in Ukraine — we shouldn’t accept that.” Last week a senior French official said it was important to “deconstruct” the Russian narrative that it was the retaliatory sanctions rather than the invasion itself that lay behind the growing international food crisis.

But Scholz acknowledged that there were some issues with payments for fertilisers and an EU official said that there was a “glitch” in the sanctions regime given the difficulty of paying for produce that was not supposed to be affected by the EU’s measures against Moscow.

In much of Africa, the Ukraine war threatens not only to increase food prices but also to push the cost of fertiliser beyond the means of millions of farmers, threatening next year’s harvest. “Eastern African countries are fully dependent on fertiliser imports and the rising fertiliser costs are expected to have severe implications of food availability and prices,” the UN said.

A senior Ethiopian official has argued that the war in Ukraine and Swift sanctions on Russia — which make it hard to pay for Russian grain and fertilisers — are “bringing significant shocks” to the economies of east Africa, as inflation spiked.

President Emmanuel Macron of France, which holds the rotating presidency of the EU, said he hoped that in the coming days and weeks an agreement with Russia could be found for Ukrainian food exports, saying that recent talks between the Russian and Turkish presidents on the matter were a “positive sign”.

What it means is that he completed a 2 year Associate Degree at Richard J. Daley College a community college and upgraded his degree with a 2 year Degree with honour at Chicago State University.

It depends on you, let me tell you something some people will ask you why do you need to run a Bsc programme again when you have an HND? they will question your self esteem
I'm also in your shoes.. but this is what I have come to realise so far
1) HND or BSc.. there is no job out there
2) HND or BSc the organization doesn't care, in as much as you know your job
3)YES! HND in statistics qualifies you for direct entry into Accounting
But!
There are some opportunities you will not get if you don't have a degree
There are some chances you will not get to prove yourself if you dont have a degree
There are some interviews you will not get if you don't have a degree

The bottom line is that being successful in your career path is not dependent on whether you have an HND or BSc.

As an HND holder, I will say I've never been out of job since I graduated 2years ago, but the truth is there are better opportunities I have missed out on due to the fact that I don't have a degree, I'm currently trying to run a conversion programme in a course related to my field.

@23 you are still very young, please opt for direct entry if you are from @least a average family who are willing to support you for the next 2-3years again, if not you can try conversion programme, this will give you the opportunity to work and continue schooling at the same time.

But please in whatever decision you take, go and learn IT, I sincerely believe you will do very well in coding or data analysis.

If you don't mind we can be friends
HND in statistics qualifies you for a direct entry role in Data Science. I will suggest that you invest in a programming course(Python) and complete a postgraduate degree in Applied Data Science. Please thank me later

OBJ was more presentable to the military and the North that backed him. His Yoruba people didn't even vote for him. Why didn't the Igbo vote for Falae the Yoruba candidate?

You want the Yoruba to unite with the Igbo that spends every day insulting them that they are lazy and slaves to the North. The Yoruba have been accommodating to Igbo merchants to a fault only to be told that Lagos is "No man's land" and "Igbo developed Lagos"

Igbo's invested all their resources in PDP and came short, let's see what will happen with the APC primaries and see whether the Yoruba's have wasted their investment.

But this may be good news for democracy because the smaller parties such as SDP, APGA and SDP become more powerful and win in the regions.

Igbo's cannot win outside Igboland. The Igbo led NPP political party won Plateau state under the charismatic and brilliant, Zik, but that was the first and only time an Igbo has ever won outside Igboland, that I am aware of. (I stand to be corrected )

Any Igbo presidential candidate will lead any party to defeat and many Igbo intellectuals are well aware of this development, that is why the agitation for Biafra and regional restructuring has been the core of the Igbo political movement.
