North is worse than Afghanistan.
Disintegration of Nigeria is just a matter of time. Its a question of when not IF
That is the truth, like a bad relationship, if one partner is intentionally failing the other partner will seek divorce in the court or on the street. Northern Nigeria is beyond redemption.

A bad tree can never yield good fruits, the black man ain’t got no sense, the whole system was designed fail, the world has abandoned fossil fuel, & is all about renewal energy today, here in Nigeria we are still struggling to improve on fossil energy, we the people are incompetent, we are a reflection of the people that rule us, if I was any better than they are, I would have been the one in the position of power.
You are better than them, you are not in a position of government power because you have integrity.

You don't need to be in government to be powerful.

Even vehicles running on four balanced wheels have not succeeded in taking off into air.

How well have you done with hydro-power? The issue with electricity-generation in Nigeria is not the generation itself. Kainji can still serve us well if properly managed.

You think solar-generation is the solution to poor power supply? No.

Dynamos are still more reliable than panels.
Solar, Hydro and Thermal are all equally viable for Nigeria, but a situation where power plants are located in the SouthWest to supply the North West is complete madness and an operational nightmare.

Power Source, Generation and transmission should be reduce to regions. Let the South West be responsible for all it's power requirements based on it economic requirements considering it industrial capacity, population and the number of government and commercial establishment.

The insecurity in North will soon migrate to the South. Southern regions must start developing independent armed agencies.

Amotekun is not enough. ..A real security outfit that can contain insecurity internal and externally. In external insecurity, I mean Northern Nigeria.

Insecurity in the North, will force the Northerner to seek new pasture in the south thereby creating conflict over land and resources.

Politics › Re: FG Agrees To Slash Fuel Price By ₦5 by sulaak(m): 12:52pm On Dec 08, 2020
The honest truth is that Nigeria has been in depression since 2016

Nigeria GDP has shrunk from $600 billion in 2014 to close to $300 billion today, the recorded unemployment is now 27.10 percent in the second quarter of 2020

A recession is a widespread economic decline that lasts for several months.
A depression is a more severe downturn that lasts for years.

In the Great Depression, GDP was negative for six out of the 10 years. In 1932, it shrank by a record of 12.9%.4

Unemployment reached 25%.

Do they have the technical expertise to produce clean fuel?

Do they follow health and safety standard.

We can't continue to cut our trees and pollute our environment and expect an invisible Federal Government to come to their aid. The local indigene need to take personal responsibility for their environment instead of pleading ignorance.

Rail travel is supposed to be the cheapest considering the number of people a train can convey at a trip. If it now cost more to travel by rail compared to road travels, I guess they're gonna experience low patronage unless there's gridlock on the Lagos -Ibadan highway
Rail travel is only cheap if the government subsidies it. I live in the UK and peak time Rail travel is more expensive than the road.

How long will the rail system work? The Abuja to Kaduna Rail is already struggling to operate. Nigeria is a failed state and total collapse is imminent.

Nigeria government has never be useful to the people of Niger Delta. Imagine a region producing larger income of revenue to the government account without any tangible structural development to show for it. For government to reduce the level of unemployment in the region, the government needs to issue license to those youths engaging in illegal mining of cruel oil to reduce environmental population.
6 years of GEJ did nothing for the Niger-Delta, between 2011 to 2015, the president, finance minister and petroleum minister were all from the Niger-Delta, what did they do to develop their region.

Even if the Niger-Delta was independent the people will still be poor and backward.

Nigerian soldiers are cowards, they flee from boko haram, only to be seen harassing harmless civilians, how can a soldier run away from the warfront where he is trained to fight and he comes down to the street to start abusing women in the name of indecent dressing, if armed robbers were on that street operating, that same coward would have removed his uniform, and hidden himself, this is a country where kidnappers, bandits, robbers, ritualists, and all forms of criminals have taken over the streets, as if there is no security system, because the cowards we have as soldiers are only on the lookout for harmless civilians to show their strength, this kind of human rights abuse can't happen in a civilized society, and some blockheaded morone are stupidly encouraging this nonsense as bravery, is it soldiers that now determine the dress code for women on the street, if a woman dresses improperly, is she not supposed to be arrested and prosecuted according to the law, is violating her rights by tearing up her dress part of the judgement for the offence, if this is tolerated, it will soon get to the point where soldiers will shoot you if you passed on the street and they are not happy with your hairstyle.
I live in the UK and you will rarely see a soldier on the street. In a democratic country, Soldiers have no right to arrest or confront civilians. Buhari has transformed Nigeria into a military state.

It's obvious that the Chinese know that the Nigerians officials are ignorance and incompetence.

When asked why the trains (CDD5c2 2701 and CDD5c2 2702 models) were frequently breaking down only a few months after they were commissioned, the CRCC engineer said: “It’s hard to say, maybe bad luck because the trains were newly built and certified okay by our company in China before they were sent to Nigeria in January.”

“In my many years of experience in after-sales service, this situation is the first I’m seeing,” Mr. Zhiguang said.

Was the effect of climate considered when building the train for our clime?
It has nothing to do with the Nigerian climate, made in China is still inferior.

It is wrong to invest billions of dollars in a product without the necessary resources and capability is to support the systems.

Don't we have local locomotive engineers that can investigate the problem instead of going back to China?

Nigeria should stop wasting resources on large projects like railway network and focus on investing in education and health care

There are some Nigerians who are not connected to the National grid as such, FG is ready to come to their aid by giving them an alternative means to electricity supply; solar energy. This will create jobs and upgrade the livelihood of some people. This token to be paid monthly is to maintain the panel.
It's a brilliant idea but you are missing two important issues.

Will the solar panel and battery be manufactured in Nigeria? How will Nigeria manage the N4000 month payment from the recipient of the loan?

I have always suggested that Nigeria installed electricity capacity of 13,000 MW should be dedicated to industry and establishment and the public should be moved onto solar energy

I agree that we have a problem in the north!

A very big problem...

I really don't like Hisbah... This is something my generation would change.

Bringing change to my region and my state is the major reason I will go into politics and become a governor and maybe the a president in the future in order to bring change and enact laws that will carry the new generation along.

But why are you Igbos more concern with what is happening in the north than the East.

Why are guys more concern with the insecurity in the north than the daily killings in Anambra and communal clashes that is currently going on in Abakiliki?

Why are you more concern with the northern extremist instead of facing the ipob extremists in hurt region who are busy killing and burning Muslims in the name of secession?

We are safe to say that education will save the north.

But no amount of education can save the East from the self consuming bigotry and backwardness.

Tell me one single state in the east that is more peaceful and developed than kano state.
The insecurity in the North affect the entire country, the large scale displacement of Nigerians from the North to the South will destabilise the entire country. The North is supposed to be the breadbasket of the country, insecurity is destabilising Nigeria food production.
