The Ruling of the one who Insults the Prophet -may Allah's highest exaltation and peace be upon him.

This is a question that has come from the brothers in Nigeria, the brothers say in it: "there is a Christian lady that insulted the Prophet -may Allah's highest exaltation and peace be upon him-, so, some people killed her and burnt her and they captured this event with video. So, the question now is, Is this action permissible and what is your advice for those people"?

The answer -and guidance is with Allah:

1. Insulting the prophet -may Allah's highest exaltation and peace be upon him- is a great evil and disbelief in Allah by the consensus of the Ummah. It is something that hurts the heart of the believer and this is something that the Muslims have no difference regarding it.

2. Confronting this action in this manner, which is the people killing and burning the one who made the insult without going back to those in charge of affairs is a great error that some people fall into due to zealousness without knowledge. So, this action is not permissible and it is an action that is not correct for several reasons:

- The first of it, implementing the prescribed punishments is not for individuals and it is not for anyone, it is for those in charge and this is based on consensus.

- Secondly, implementing the prescribed Shari'ah punishment occurs when those in charge cut off the neck of the one who insulted the prophet -may Allah's highest exaltation and peace be upon him-, then the one who is killed is buried in the graves.

This is the ruling of the noble punishment on him because implementing the prescribed punishments is from the jurisdiction of the one in authority" 2nd Page 3. What is compulsory regarding this situation is to refer the case of the one who insulted the prophet -may Allah's highest exaltation and peace be upon him- to the governmental authority and it is the government that will summon the one who is accused of insulting the prophet -may Allah's highest exaltation and peace be upon him-, look at the validity of the accusation, and inspect the conditions to implement the prescribed punishment on him and the inhibitions, Then, they will implement the prescribed punishment, if the conditions are met and the inhibitions are absent.

4. It is legislated for the Muslims to seek from the government to prohibit insulting the Prophet -may Allah, highest exaltation and peace be upon him- and implement the prescribed punishment on the one who insults him -may Allah, highest exaltation and peace be upon him-5. If it is known that the government will do nothing, then patience is necessary and calling to Allah with wisdom and good admonition. Indeed, the pagans of Qumysh in Makkah used to often insult the Prophet -may Allah, highest exaltation and peace be upon him- and describe him with magic, poem, sorcery and similar things to that. They used to harm in different ways, they would place the intestine of the camels on him, so, they would harm the prophet -may Allah, highest exaltation and peace be upon him-with their speech and action. And the believers were not capable to repel that from the prophet -may Allah, highest exaltation and peace be upon him- and Allah did not hold them responsible for anything and there was no blame on them from anyone because they were weak. Rather, the prophet -may Allah's highest exaltation and peace be upon him- was commanded with patience, over-looking and pardoning. And indeed there am many verses commanding

Shari'ah and it is not by burning the one who was killed, this is not from the Shari'ah.
This action that some people did with regards to killing the Christian lady and burning her corpse, there are many evils in it: .

First, it is upon other than the way of the Prophet -may Allah's highest exaltation and peace be upon him-.

Second, It incites the government against the people of sunnah, so they oppose them and tighten their grip on them.

. Third, it opens the door for foreign nations to cause commotion between the Muslims and Christians.

. Fourth, It distorts the image of the Muslims in the view of the enemies, rather, it might chase those who want to accept Islam away from it.

Footnote
1. In the Verdicts of the Permanent Committee for verdicts and research (V22/P5): "No one implements the prescribed punishments except the Muslim Sultan or the one that represents him to actualize law and order; preventing transgression and safety from injustice" Also in the verdict of the Permanent Committee for verdicts and research (V22/P7): "None establish the prescribed punishments except for the Muslim ruler or the one who stands in the position of the ruler and it is not permissible for individuals among the Muslims to implement the prescribed punishments because of what that will cause of unrest and turmoil."

Also in the verdict of the Permanent Committee for verdicts and research (V22/P8): "It is not for you to implement the prescribed with patience when much insult is heard from those who were given the book (Jews and Christians) and the Pagans. Thus, Some of them (scholars) said "it was abrogated by the verse of war, collection of jizyah and similar things to that". And others said: "they are applied when there is weakness"

Shaykhul Islam Ibn Taymiyyah said in 'The Unsheathed Sword' (V I/P239): "among people are those who say that the command of pardoning remains when there is need for it due to weakness of the Muslims from fighting, sich that they are in a time or a place they are incapable to do it. So such is not abrogated, for the abrogated is what has been uplifted in all future times"

And may the highest exaltation of Allah, peace and blessing be upon His slave and messenger, our prophet Muhammad, his household and his companions
Shaykh Ali Al-Hudhaifi

We are not saying taking law in hand is good or lawful in Islam but how Nigerian government/constitution treats Muslims and Islam is very bad so the best language Nigerian government and Nigerian Christians is to do shege for them tomorrow no body will dare to insult our prophet in midst of us he will fear the outcome he know holy ghost fire no go protect him.
I'm not saying that what those guys did is right or Islamical but it is the condition that force us to support them, if Nigerian government/constitution will provide punishment for blasphemy then who ever make that offense we will take him to Court to address the issue but if Deborah was taken to the court nothing will happen so we have to tell the government that we will not tolerate this kind of nonsense.
To anybody who is trying to condemn these youth action let him condemn Deborah's stupidity first, because if she control her tongue I'm sure nobody will know she is insulting our prophet but she do it and post it in a group where Muslims are there and the environment she's leaving is mostly Muslims so she commit suicide by herself, those shouldn't be blame.

Politics / Re: From 7 To 70: Why Are They Not Talking About This - By Femi Adesina by sunnnnyuu(m): 4:53pm On Apr 22, 2022
presidency:
Last week on this platform, focus was on the fact that adversaries of the Muhammadu Buhari administration were hiding behind the smokescreen of insecurity to vent their spleen.

We stressed that security was everything, and noted that while robustly confronting the monster of insecurity, President Buhari was equally taking giant strides on many other fronts, which the caterwauling crowd deliberately ignores.

Today, let’s dwell on something they have deliberately refused to see, hear, and chose not to talk about. But whether they see it or not, talk about it or ignore, it is there, as conspicuous as a tiger in a tea shop.

A fortnight ago, members of the Fertilizers Producers and Suppliers Association of Nigeria (FEPSAN) visited the President at State House, Abuja. And among others, this information came out from Mr Thomas Etuh, President of the body:

“Mr President, before you created the Presidential Fertilizer Initiative in 2016, Nigeria’s fertilizer production base was almost zero. We had less than 7 companies producing at 100% of their installed capacity. Nigeria’s Urea output was reported at less than 300,000 tons.

“Today, Nigeria can boast of having some 70 NPK blending plants. 95% of this investment is from the private sector. This is a clear sign of the confidence investors have in Mr President’s policies and programs.”

From 7 to 70 blending plants just under Buhari! But why are they not talking about it? Because it doesn’t fit into the narrative they want Nigerians to buy and imbibe. The country is broken under Buhari. It is divided. He has made a poor job of leading the country. That is what the poor salesmen sell.

I hear! When you hate a baby, you claim that the midwife that begat him is a witch. What has that got to do with the innocent tot? Their snouts have been yanked from the honeypot, so they are throwing tantrums. Politicians, so-called civil rights activists, priests, talk show hosts, and many others. All they want is to have the illicit bread back. So they must create the impression that Buhari did nothing.

From 7 to 70. Why are they not talking about it? No, it doesn’t serve their interests, so they would pretend it didn’t happen.

The FEPSAN boss had many other things to say:

“In the past 2 months alone, you officially commissioned the Barbados NPK blending plant in Kaduna and the Dangote Urea plant in Lagos. ..Such an honour in a very short period clearly shows the love you have for us and your desire for FEPSAN to succeed. For many of us, we still cannot believe that a President would honour the invitation of not one, but two of our members within a short period of time. It is such open support that encourages our members to continue investing.”

But they said Nigeria was broken, and that the only thing happening was insecurity. How then did the 63 new blending plants spring up? If the investors didn’t believe in the country, would they invest such humongous resources? Would you put several millions of naira in a polity that could go up in smoke at the next minute? No, you wouldn’t. So, the fact that investors continue to put their funds here belie their narrative that Nigeria was broken, and nothing was working. They lie through their teeth just because of the lust for power, and filthy lucre. They pine and hanker after those days that you did nothing, and government just brought bags of money to you at home. Buhari wouldn’t do that, so they must badmouth him, paint him black, and run him out of town, if possible.

From 7 to 70 fertilizer blending plants in 7 years. Why are they not talking about it? No, they wouldn’t, because they want a return of those days when the country earns billions of dollars from oil, and it is used to oil their pockets. The rich get richer, and the poor gets prison. The new order pains them like mad.

Hear how Etuh described what used to happen in the country: “The low base reflects the adverse impact of historical Government policies that promoted the dumping of all sorts of imported fertilizer blends in Nigeria. Our farmers were forced to use imported fertilizers which in most cases are not compatible with the nutritional needs of our land.

“All this is now past. By the special grace of God...Nigerian farmers will never go back to those dark days.”

A resounding amen, somebody! Whether they acknowledge the good things going on or not, this country won’t return to the rent seeking era, where you sit idly, and because you are a priest, critic, social activist, media personality, politician, or what, they just bring loads of cash to your house to curry favor. Buhari hasn’t done it, he won’t do it, and we shouldn’t do it as a country.

From 7 blending plants to 70 under Buhari. Why are they not talking about it? It doesn’t favor their selfish intentions. It is said that in over 12 years, Nigeria has seen its highest consumption of fertilizers at 1.8 million tons per annum in 2021. But does it interest them? Never! They don’t care, and can’t be bothered.

“Today, many nations who rely on fertilizer imports are facing acute shortages as a result of the events in Eastern Europe. However, Nigeria remains one of the few countries in Africa and indeed the world, where fertilizer availability is not an issue,” Thomas Etuh said.

Truly, President Buhari is a man who saw tomorrow. He focused on agriculture, funded it massively, encouraged people to go back to the land, and we have a lot to be thankful for today.

In the wake of COVID-19 and the attendant global lockdown and food supply challenges, how would 200 million people have survived, if we were not producing what we eat locally, as encouraged by the President? But they won’t talk about it, because it doesn’t fit into their narrative. They only allege that the country is broken, divided, not recognizing that they were the very people breaking and dividing it with their mouths.

Central Bank Governor, Godwin Emefiele, disclosed at the FEPSAN meeting with the President that cumulatively, a total of N114.09 billion has been disbursed to support the fertilizer industry in the last five years. The interventions are long-term loans at concessionary interest rates. That’s what you call putting your money where your mouth is. In the past, such funds would have ended in the pockets of government officials, and in those of some priests, critics, and other jobbers. From 7 to 70 blending plants under Buhari. That’s why they are not talking about it.

Hear this information that came as I was concluding this piece. According to acting Comptroller of the Federal Fire Service, Dr Karebo Samson, in 2015, when Buhari came to office, there were only 3 functioning fire trucks in the country, two in Lagos, one in Abuja. But today, there are 189 brand new fire trucks in the Service, apart from new ambulances, water tankers, etc. Why are they not talking about it? It doesn’t serve their interest in portraying Nigeria as broken and divided.

They live their lives perpetually on the complaint counter. But with the realization of the progress being made by patriotic Nigerians, they will be soused and marooned in that inglorious place for a long time to come. The people are not ready to return to the dark past, whether those tiny but vocal minority talk about the good things happening or not. Forward we move.

*Adesina is Special Adviser to President Buhari on Media and Publicity
How does that help poor? Does it make fertilizer cheaper in the country? Or does it make foodstuffs cheaper? Does that make naira stronger against dollar? So all this that you said masses have not benefited, it's only the fertilizer producers benefits from it.

1. This will break the monopoly of Discos
2. The State Governors will have no where to hide their inadequates.
3.The people will know whom and where to lodge their complaints.
4.The state governments would want to compete with one another by looking into other source of power like solar etc.
5. Price of services will fall like barbing, photocoping etc.
6. Investors would want to invest in states with adequate electricity supply

Politics / Re: 2023: Can Rochas Be The Way Out? by sunnnnyuu(m): 6:17am On Feb 18, 2022
Optapidgin:
Former President Ibrahim Babangida in a recent interview gave a quite optimistic projection of the kind of person who should be Nigeria’s next president.

Politics in the country has come to the crossroads. More and more Nigerians have come to see the wisdom in statecraft. Better to have a president who helps bring food to the table i.e. earn enough money to provide the basic necessities for oneself and one’s family. There are some who still bend to the illusory preferential option for the kinsman. So, it’s merit Vs zoning.

Interestingly though, both sides of the divide have proponents who think that for the sake of fairness, equity, even for justice and such values that promote peace and order, an ethnic Igbo person should get the next turn at the presidency this time. This is the loudest, the most sober and sensible view. The influential Sultan, Muhammadu Sa’ad Abubakar thinks so from Sokoto. The pragmatist reformer and current Governor of Kaduna State, Mallam Nasir El Rufai likewise agrees that it should be the turn of the southeast now.

When the Igbos have had their shot, then Nigeria can evolve from turn-by-turn presidency to merit as the overarching criterion.

Thus on the whole, there seems a fair consensus of opinion that the presidency goes to the Igbos this once. So what then?

The problem actually is the incapacity of the Igbo political elite to inspire consensus around a viable candidate and then throw their weight behind him or her.

Owelle Rochas Okorocha has shown remarkable imagination and innovation in his declaration to run. A former governor and presently a senator, he has had a more than successful run in business and entrepreneurship. Plus he has shown a milk of kindness in his widespread charities and beneficent foundations. No matter what one may say, Rochas is not perfect but he has the pedigree suitable to do the job.

To recap, there is a growing political concurrence that it is only fair for the presidency to be zoned to the southeast. Even those who in principle would prefer merit to the option of zoning believe that if for no other reason than the sake of equity and fair play, someone of Igbo ethnicity be president this time. After that, all parties can throw their doors open and allow for only the criterion of merit and suitability.

One standard ex-president Babangida proffered for the next commander-in-chief was the candidate’s familiarity or association with diverse parts of the country. Okorocha has that in the bag. With deep roots in the north and eloquent in Hausa, he has roots and association in and with almost all parts of the federation.

Where it is not consanguinity, then it is business ties or some form of interrelation. In fact, a lot of the arguments made against him prove to be reasonable as to why he should be the next president.

Source: https://2023.ng/2022/02/17/2023-can-rochas-be-the-way-out/
Yes president Rochas Okorocha is the answer. He is my best candidate coming 2023 because he true democrat and true Nigerian unlike all the remaining candidates including my brother from my state Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.

A resident simply identified as Tallest, notorious for allegedly b#llying and extorting Federal University of Technology (FUTA) students, has been handed over to Amotekun operatives in Akure, Ondo State.

According to multiple sources, the suspect who is a member of a syndicate infamous for hara$sing students outside the school premises, met his Waterloo. “We’ve s*ffered greatly in the hands of Tallest and his gang. They are not students of the school and they hara$s us daily at Southgate, which is just close to our school.

They make sure that we part with our money and phones before they can let us walk freely. We had a protest recently over the matter but apparently, our words fell on deaf ears.

Tallest and his crew took the risk to extort the wrong set of students on Tuesday night and were taught a lesson by the irate victims. While his crew members— K-faction and Quadri— took to their heels, Tallest had to bear the brunt of their actions.

He was given an en!rgy drink for strength after receiving a v!ol#nt lecture and asked to pose for the camera before being handed over to security operatives. A manhunt has been launched for his accomplices,” a source familiar with the incident said.
