trinidad: This is more like it and I am sure her family will appreciate this gesture if it is eventually approved. I am also of the opinion that every other dead person that participated one way or the other in the treatment of the index case should be remembered. Any of them could have done what Adedavor did if he/she were in her position, who knows. We should appreciate their galantary and sacrifice. For example, Nurse Ejelonu was a newly employed nurse before she met her fate. As Dr. Adedavoh is remembered, I suggest probably some streets or garages in Lagos be named after our heroes and heroines. God Bless every Lagosian, God Bless Lagos State, God Bless Nigeria. . Exactly my point, dey shuld commemorate dem all |

fuckluv: Why re-write WAEC 6 times just because of maths? That guy needs to be flogged.
On a lighter note, if you want to explore the "journalism field" for example, you just have to know "something" about "everything". Truly understanding numbers and being able to clearly convey their meaning to readers is a crucial part of being a journalist.
What if you want to report an election proceedings? You should have a working knowledge of arithmetic, be comfortable with statistics and be able to calculate percentages, ratios and other relationships between numbers. You should also understand what margin of error in polling is, have a basic understanding of probability and be able to work with graphs and charts. And, most importantly, you should be able to use this knowledge to help your readers better understand the issues at hand. . 1000likes. U culdnt hav said it better |

eleojo23: Maths is important for critical thinking.
It exercises the brain and sharpen your thinking skills. It helps us recognise patterns and to understand the world around us.
The knowledge of maths produces numeracy just as the knowledge of languages (English language for instance) produces literacy.
Here are some examples of what I mean by numeracy: (a) Being able to critically assess statistics. (b) Being able to manage family/personal budgets , purchases and business transactions. (c) Being able to estimate – in all kinds of situations, e.g. journey speed, time and distance, roughly how much a bill will be or your expected bank balance at the end of the month... . Tank u very much. As for me maths was my best subject in school |

pasqal09: 1. Unexpected Hug From Behind A hug from behind says you wanted to be close to her so badly that you couldn't even wait for her to turn around. Especially when it's a surprise, it's a great way to show you care. Make sure it's your girlfriend though, random girls aren't as enthused with surprise hugs.
2. Giving Precise Compliments Rather than saying "you look pretty" (actually, you should say that too) compliment her on a specific piece of jewelry, or the way her hair looks, or the color of her dress. It's more authentic than a blanket compliment. Compliment her often but not so much that it becomes insincere.
3. Walk Between Her and The Street it's nice to let her know you care about her. Don't demand it, but when walking on the sidewalk subtly staying between her and traffic is incredibly sweet.
4. Put Your Arm Around her and rub her arm A persons arm might be the most platonic place on the body, which is why it's such a cute spot to rub. It says I care about you so much I just want to touch you
5. Hand on her back as you walk in a crowd Not in a forceful or territorial way, but more to asure that she's still there next to you. It also shows how proud you are to be with her.
6. Bring up details from Past conversations Girls know they drone on sometimes, but it's the boyfriend's duty to listen. Let her know you've been listening by casually bringing up things she's mentioned in past conversations. In fact this one can be applied to all your friends, not just that special someone.
7. Say thank you even after small things When she wakes you up in the morning so you're not late, when she hands you a towel as you get out of the shower, when she makes the meal she knows you like. Also make eye contact with her as you say it, she'll love it. wow, OP its like u just read my mind. Number 1 & 6 are just divine ( number 1 specifically 4ur man o, not just any random goat) |

cktheluckyman: I repeat Fashola does not take sole credit for this fight against ebola.Even trying to politicse this ebola fight is very Dangerous.Ebola was contained in lagos because Sawyer collapsed at the airport and was rushed to a high brow hospital who acted very professionally. If Sawyer has come into lagos and somehow managed to mingle into the population without been detected, the story would have been differant and there was nothing Fashola could do about it.
Kudos should go first to the First consultant hospital Obalende and then both the Lagos and federal ministry of health for this feat. There is no need to politicise this ebola issue . Very true |
