You guys forget that it is ESN that is been attacked.

Not IPOB, know the fights you pick brotherly.

Nobody is fighting IPOB, but an illegal ESN armed with assault weapons, used in attacking security outfits as of late.

HEAD ALL THE WAY TO ORLU IMO STATE, TO KILL IGBO PEOPLE PROTECTING THEIR MOTHERS IN THE FARM, SO FULANI CAN TAKE OVER THEIR LAND.

DID THAT PART JUMP OVER YOUR HEAD?

IF NIGERIA ARMY ATTACK, EVERYBODY HAVE A RIGHT TO DEFENCE, NOT JUST ESN, THE WHOLE EASTERN REGION.

THE AGGRESSORS ARE NIGERIA MILITARY AND PEOPLE WILL SURELY BE FORCED TO DEFEND THEMSELVES.

Why not answer how the ESN got weapons?

Why are they using AK47 and who funds it?

So who is in the business of weapon in this country except the FG?

Romance / Re: What A Prophet Told Me About My Girlfriend. by Sunshyne200(m): 8:40am On Dec 03, 2020
SeunWedsLinda:
Good morning nairalanders. I'm sharing this here because I feel restless with this urgent need to end my relationship. I'll make the story as short as possible.

I started dating my girlfriend this time 2 years ago. The experience hasn't been bad because she's all I could wish for in a woman. Very pretty both facially and in physique. Respectful. Been there for me during my down times. Encourages me when things don't go my way. At some point, I thought she was gonna leave because of my financial state but no. She still stuck by me. Even helping me financially to bring me up to my feet.

However. Despite every attempts at steadying my financial imbalance, there was never any progress. We went for a crusade mid last year and the prophet called her out, was praying for her and she was falling under anointing. She was oblivious of what was happening then the man of God delivered a big prophesy that shocked me. He said she is possessed by a spirit which is out to ruin every man she's had something to do with in the past. That a lot of men have been destroyed. My heart raced faster and I couldn't figure out what to do at that point. When she finally got herself, she cleaned up and went home. Came to my house the following morning and asked me what happened. I told her everything the prophet said and she begged me not to leave her. Of course I didn't leave her. We still continued with the relationship. Don't blame me here guys. My belief was that no man or woman has the power to influence what happens to you. That success or financial breakthrough is the end product of hardwork and perseverance. That was why I took that prophesy with a pinch of salt.

Our lives continued. I kept encountering frustrations in my live goals and ambitions. Depts hanging round my neck with no hope in sight. Rents expiring with no plan for renewal. To the point that I had to borrow to feed. These were much that I decided to go see another prophet yesterday. This prophet is different from the first one that hosted a crusade we went for. I decided to go alone this time around and it's located in a different state. In the course of the ministration. The prophet called me out. He told me I should limit things I say to THAT GIRL (my girlfriend). He mentioned to me that my girlfriend is good and it's not her fault. That she is possessed by a spirit that is out to ruin. Responsible for restricting any favor that looks like it's coming my way. Every thing he told me was in tandem with my real life experiences. He prayed for me afterwards and I still went further to meet him. I needed some clarity on whether or not to continue with my relationship. He didn't urge that I breakup. But he advised I should just leave her and focus on my hustle. My girlfriend has been calling me since yesterday but I've not been picking. I'm confused guys. I know I will eventually pick and talk to her but how do I breakup? Where do I start from? I don't want to tell her what the prophet said about her. My mind is mess rn. Please advice me guys

Please guy forget these prophesy things, these guys aren't sent by God. If they truly are sent, why just for broke folks.

How comes Donald Trump with all his excapades didn't feel like you? He had a time when his estates and casino's went bankruptcy. He didn't blame it on any supernatural powers, he restrategized and bounced back years later.

Bad things happen to good people everyday and good things happen to bad people everyday.

I don't disprove the existence of supernatural forces, but I say, look beyond that and restrategize, maybe some new skills, some dimensions to how you do your business.

Improve your knowledge base on your business and do research leading to innovative ways of doing it.

But that young lady has nothing to do with your business and destiny.

Romance / Re: Which Is Better For A Man? by Sunshyne200(m): 6:41am On Dec 01, 2020
Bote3000:
I would like to know which or these type of women is best for a man to have in his life...

Case1: The woman is loving and caring and is always comfortable with whatever the man brings home in this case there will almost always be enough to eat pay bills and live a normal life with some glitches she won't argue she will succumb to every request the man makes weather bad or good, all she will want is just to have the man home always because she is in love she doesn't push him to strive from more or even a chance to see the world outside the current space they living in as she will term these things as vanity.

Case2: the woman who is loving and caring but wants more... Wants a better meal a better car a better house she wants to live with the flow of technology not necessarily a very fast pace she is angry when the man is lazy she likes the new car car the next door neighbour got she wants jewels she want her kids in the best school she wants her husband to smart she wants the good things in life ,her happiness sincerely comes out when she gets gift from her man. she not contented with litle things she pushes the man to do more .

Question: is the case2 woman a greedy person or are men just too blind to see that that's what life really should be or would they say my wife they stress me ?

Is case1 the best option a man can ask for

If you have a case2 woman, recommend her and of truly she is like that, I would marry her.

That's the ideal woman I want.

I love a life of daily task and motivation.

You sound so confused...you love her, yet you want to break up with her. If after doing so krama decides to pay you back with your own coin, you'll come back here on Nairaland to start telling us how you've been good to ladies but they keep breaking your heart.

If she's everything you want in a woman like you claimed, what stops you from building a future together. After all isn't that what lovers do?

Ogbeni, what's wrong with what the guy is doing? He loves her so much that's why he is breaking up with her. There is no law that you must date or marry who you date.

He said he wants to discover himself(the most important aspect of life). He doesn't need love now, what he needs is purpose.

See love is a limiting factor to alot of growth, both physically and mentally.

He is shedding weight, please allow him concentrate, if she is his, the law of nature would bring them back, but if not, he moves ahead...

Her response is rude, yes. But you should also know that under the circumstances, different people would behave differently. Which is why (from my own opinion) the company should have briefed her on the method they would use to contact her.

Seems you aren't in Nigeria and probably schooled abroad.

Here, the company is doing you a favour in employing you and if you see the post she is applying for "intern", I am sure they aren't ready to invest so much for internship.

When I was seeking job, to be on a safe side, I dedicated one of my line to anything job, CV etc.

So any calls, text or contacts I get from that line, is probably job-related.

Every organization has their peculiar management system. This goes as far as recruitment exercises. In this case, I think there's nothing wrong with their method. Sometimes, you have to disguise to know who people really are.

The disguise here was necessary, because the employer himself had a firsthand experience of how she relates with people. If he had gone directly, she would have passed and it would take a while before her real attitude shows forth. Who knows how much damage she would do before that happens?

Imagine if given the job and she is to deal with the company's customers who might not inform her before contacting her.

I am rest assured, all the customers would run away

Education / Re: My "Couple's Life" Experience In Higher Institution by Sunshyne200(m): 6:13am On Nov 26, 2020
Zyxsc:
This is my confession

I first saw her profile pics on Nairaland. Let's call her Rachel. Later, I got to know she stays in the same hostel as I. She was into me more than I am into her. She attempted to come closer but I wouldn't have that. I resisted because my kind of introvert prefers being alone. I can't tolerate people's presence for long. Even my girlfriends, ex and then-present, I can only tolerate for a maximum of three days. Afterwards I would become hostile towards them till they eventually leave. But Rachel, she would leave and come back the following day, no matter how hostile I was the previous day. Gradually, she taught me how to tolerate people's presence more. I started getting comfortable with her. Then comes the second issue.

I have a very short temper. I flare up on any slight provocation. Rachel, she would remain calm while I'm angry. Once she notice I'm calm, she would come to me and ask me to reminisce the reason for my anger if it's bigger than an issue we could have resolved by discussing. She uses many other vices to correct me in a very respectful way. In the event I get angry while being corrected, she wouldn't raise her voice. She just wants to teach me, most things that trigger my anger can easily be resolved through communication. Gradually, I learn to be slow to anger and speak my temper. There, she taught me to be a better communicator and have a better grip over my temperament.

While all these went on, the sex wasn't amiss, even though it's usually my 2 seconds jiggy-jiggy. She noticed I was bogged by my inability to last long. Then she told me a secret that spurred me into action. I made my research. I found how to last long and give better pre-intimacy and got really good at the game.

From the start of my narration till the last paragraph, it was 5 years of cohabitation already, but it was a blessing. I would still be the primitive version of myself if I hadn't engaged in that.

So in case you're thinking it's bad to cohabit in school, of course it is, but that's your opinion. It's okay to have one, but don't shove it down our throat.[b]

[b]Does it affect my grades?

sure, it does. I came out with a second class upper. Strong or not strong, second class upper na second class upper. I might not have had a first class even if I didn't live a couple's life. And come to think of it, I am doing better than the first class graduate of my set.

Will I be glad if my daughter does it?
Of course, no. I wouldn't. But shit happens and life goes on yet. To the best of my knowledge, my Dad didn't even attend any tertiary institution, talk more of doing it. So my doing it or not doing it wouldn't affect my daughter's decision to either do it or not. Just live your life and enjoy it the best way you can

I and Rachel are not dating presently, but I value her more than any lady I've ever come across because she's had great impact in my life. The changes I experienced while cohabitating with her formed the foundation of any positive change I am presently undergoing.

Rachel indeed changed your life. Infact while reading your post, I could feel the calmness, peace and serenity around you.

If Rachel is still single marry her or recommend her

She seems unique

Its very easy to catch those cultists, but the Nigerian security outfits Wont employ intelligent approach all they will do is set up army checkpoints all over Edo.

Take off the military outfits disguise them as civilians and pair them either in 2's or 3's then station them around hot spots.

2 options shoot at sight if threatened or u arrest in a less volatile situation.

Anybody who does a cultists shaking arrest him.

If u speak cult slangs arrest him

If u smoke or sell weed arrest him.

After pairing them in 2 or 3 and disguised, and they have arrested a culprit or more culprits, how do they move the person to the HQ without facing reprisals from sympathizers? No logistics, no vehicles, the locals won't give information.

Nigeria is just difficult to manage and almost impossible to manage sanely.
